It's the first station in a little round about plaza type place with maybe 7 other businesses. Small bare waiting area with about 6-7 seats and TV, but nice and cold with the AC blasting inside which is a welcome for the valley heat. Friendly tech. Informed me they will send in the smog check info to DMV and I Shud be getting the tags in the mail after the registration is paid for. Was in and out in about...15 min or less...$40 out the door. Smog was due and I found this spot on Yelp. Easy to find. It's located in a small auto center. It's at the outside corner of the shops. Few reserved parking spots out front if it's busy. I took my car in for a smog check. It didn't pass But the gentlemen told me that it was due to my car not being driven for a while (since COVID my car doesn't get out much). He told me to drive it in the freeway for like 45 mins. He gave me a route to follow and only charged me half the price and told me to bring it back the next day. I did as he suggested and Voila! It passed! He charged me the other half of the fee and I was in my way. The space is hard to get into but the service was unbeatable. Definitely will be back the next time. read more

Easiest smog check, ever. I called this morning (Thursday) around 10am and was quoted $40 for an oil change. I was told to come by anytime I needed - the earlier the better. About 20 minutes later I was at Winnetka Smog. There was one other car being serviced & I was told it would be about 10 minutes. It was less than a 5 minute wait actually. I called in this morning to ask if an appointment was necessary or if walk-ins were welcomed and the gentleman informed me that either worked fine but that an appointment was encouraged. I was able to book an appointment within 30 minutes of calling. The entire service took at most 10 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left. Came to this place to try to get my van smogged and the person in there was not pleasant at all, had an attitude, I was told by my mechanic to run my vehicle for 20 to 25 mins. On the freeway to make sure all the monitors are active, as soon as I got to this place the guy turned off my van, did not tell me how long i would have to wait, started working on 2 other vehicles at the same time so I decided to take my business somewhere else. Very helpful, and fair! Due to covid shutdown my battery died, and the car computer needed to be reset. Only charged me half and told me to drive about 50 miles to reset the car memory. 11/9/22. 8:45 am- 1 bay open, the other had a car being checked. I drive up, engine running to ask the guy if I should pull into the open bay- he ignores me. After a minute he starts walking away, again without even looking at me, I say "excuse me, I'm here for a smog check- want me to pull in there?" (pointing to the open bay). Sarcastically he says, "no" (as in- "you idiot")- then continues walking away. Seriously? If he hates being there so much, why not get another job? People usually come back to the spot where they are serviced correctly. Was here 2 years ago (09/2017) with my heavy polluter vehicle, 2 years later and 6k miles later.. they can no longer smog THE SAME car. I come in around 8am on a Saturday, no one is here, I'm the first person & the technician. Pretty straight forward with the job, paperwork is minimal, cost is super reasonable, and great friendly customer service.
