People usually come back to the spot where they are serviced correctly. Was here 2 years ago (09/2017) with my heavy polluter vehicle, 2 years later and 6k miles later.. they can no longer smog THE SAME car. 11/9/22. 8:45 am- 1 bay open, the other had a car being checked. I drive up, engine running to ask the guy if I should pull into the open bay- he ignores me. After a minute he starts walking away, again without even looking at me, I say "excuse me, I'm here for a smog check- want me to pull in there?" (pointing to the open bay). Sarcastically he says, "no" (as in- "you idiot")- then continues walking away. Seriously? If he hates being there so much, why not get another job? I come in around 8am on a Saturday, no one is here, I'm the first person & the technician. Pretty straight forward with the job, paperwork is minimal, cost is super reasonable, and great friendly customer service. The job takes about 10-15mins, so you can wait in the small waiting room they have. Overall I highly recommend this place for your smog check. read more

They even offer a FREE re-test if you don't pass. They don't try to sell you an mechanical services, so they really have no reason to lie about anything. With the $10 off coupon you can find on their website, my test was only $40 out the door. They even electronically submit your test results to DMV! This is a perfect example of why I love Yelp. As I've recently moved back to CA, I've realized that I have "10-days" to register my car with the state. While I missed that memo, I will eventually get around to it. As I typed in "smog check" into my yelp search bar, this place popped up as the first hit. With the great reviews, I decided to call and get a quote. Was quoted at $45 for my out-of-state vehicle, including certification which they would forward over to the DMV. He said this was the price with the coupon, and that he would print it out for me since I didn't have a printer readily available...he even asked me if I needed directions, but I told him I had GPS. So my GPS didn't locate this location, but it was quite easy to find. You turn in and it's the last lot in an alley with a bunch of other automotive shops. Was told it would take ~15 minutes, and it really did. The lot is really clean and I was intrigued by the different state license plates hovering above me in the waiting area (see picture). As promised, 15 minutes later, my car was ready to go. Got my certificate, the gentlemen gave me insight on what to expect with the DMV, and I was on my merry way. My ABS (antilock brakes) light came on, but it turned off about 10 miles into my drive. I believe this was because as part of the test, they run your car with the brakes on. NBD. This places specializes in smog tests...that's all they do, so they know what they're doing. I was blown away by the honesty of this place. I'm a senior and don't drive my car on the fwy's. The test wouldn't finish and after talking to me, he said that the car would need to be driven on the fwy for about 45 miles at the average speed of 60 to 65 miles an hour. He said that would in all likely hood fix the problem. I did not have to pay anything upfront. Just bring the car back for testing again. I'll update after the next test. read more

My husband needed a STAR station required smog check for his Honda Accord. He called beforehand and there was no wait. It's at the end of the driveway with other small repair garages but it's not hard to miss. When he pulled up and was ushered into their garage, they took care of him immediately. They have a nice and cool waiting area but you don't enjoy it for too long since they're so quick it took less than 15 minutes total.
