I signed in & met with Stella she was compassionate , kind , friendly & I felt comfortable in her environment & judgement free after the intake . I was instructed to take a seat & wait for your food to be prepared for you . A elderly guy called me & escorted me to my vehicle with lots of food of all sorts of things . I was so surprised & grateful to get my needs met after just moving into my apartment. Thank you so much for meeting my needs . Keep up the great work & I have referred my family & friends . I also donated clothing, shoes , CD's , DVD ,household goods & other items at the thrift store. I was so happy to give back .Everyone is so friendly & helpful at the thrift Store .Wow found Great deals will stop in and do shopping at a later time . I also had the pleasure of meeting Anita & Marco at another day to access service for housing & other resources/ referrals available In Our Community Again everyone was professional, helpful, kind , friendly, patient & knowledgeable . They get their inventory from purchasing storage units and select the best items for sale in their store. Treasure Haven sells furniture, clothing, home goods, movies, books, art, accessories, and more. There was a wedding dress, interesting jewelry, and Gucci boots that retail for over $600. It is a little cramped in the store but that just adds to the feeling that you are on a hunt for a gem. You never know what you will find around a corner or in a basket. The lady who was working was friendly and welcoming. Although I didn't find that thing I couldn't live without I still had fun searching through the inventory. The Russell Home Thrift Store benefits the Russell House established by Vantrease Russell who was…read morelovingly known as Grandma Russell. Russell House was the first of its kind when it was established in 1951 as a licensed home for children with special needs. The seed for the home was planted when Mrs. Russell's doctor asked if she could care for a disabled child who had nowhere else to go. She agreed even though she had seven children of her own. Through the years the Russell House has cared for more than 1,500 physically and mentally challenged children. They have relied completely on private funding and revenue generated from this thrift store. There is a memorial statue for Vantrease Russell in Cypress Grove Park which neighbors the Russell House and often served as a place for Russell to take the children on outings. Russell Home Thrift is actually two stores side by side. There is the regular thrift store and a higher end boutique store next to it. Both sell gently used items donated by the community. The thrift store had an abundance of clothing for men, women, and children, accessories, household goods, faux florals, lamps, and books. Next door at the boutique you will find furniture, collectibles, name brand clothing and accessories, special occasion gowns, and a wedding dress corner. Russell Home is a worthy charity to support. Their legacy of supporting disabled children during a time when no one else was stepping up is remarkable. There is a varied inventory and prices are more than fair. All of the volunteers I spoke to were friendly and welcoming. Please consider supporting this worthy charity with your donations and funds. You just might find that one of a kind treasure.

It's a nice store for shopping for a good cause. They have a pretty good selection of the typical things you find in a thrift store. It's nice that there's no guess work the pricing on the clothing. The blouses and jeans are all $4-5 each! It's a great price! They're not for profit, so it's nice that they don't price gouge on the donated items like others.
