I enjoy thrifting, so of course I've popped into this location plenty of times since it's the closest one to where I live and it's right here in Winter Park. I will say though, compared to other cities and other Goodwill locations I've been to, this one seems to price items quite a bit higher than I'm used to for a thrift store. Genuinely for a lot of items this store is equal to or more expensive than what you'd pay at Ross, T.J maxx, etc. Outside of the pricing, my other complaint is definitely the parking situation. You honestly just have to catch it on a good day when it's not too busy so you can secure a spot in their parking lot. There is street parking available, but it's a very busy area, so it's not very likely you'll find something easily. Just a PSA for anyone planning a trip. That being said, the staff is overall pretty friendly and I always receive good customer service whenever I visit. They also have a pretty decent selection. I'm usually able to find higher quality clothes and shoes, and the store stays very organized and clean inside, which is definitely a plus. read more

4 Stars for a small Goodwill Boutique in the heart of Winter Park, with prices to match... This isn't your giant typical Goodwill, this boutique is much smaller and primarily clothing (with some limited home goods). I loved perusing the aisles and if I wanted to craft a full wardrobe here, I could. I saw that a certain color tags were discounted, but I couldn't find any of those tags. Regardless, I found a pair of really nice anthology pants with the tags still on! It was almost $30, but the tags showed an original price of $220. Another big plus- they have fitting rooms! They are a bit dirty, but thankful for not having to try the pants over my shorts. Overall, you can find some good stuff here, but the prices are pretty high for a thrift store. read more

Goodwill Boutique is right on Orange Ave in Winter Park. The boutique is small compared to other Goodwills but it has a lot of merchandise. It is clean and well organized. Nice staff. I stopped by because I had never seen a Goodwill Boutique before. Given the area is really nice with really expensive homes and cars etc I was thinking there might be some good finds in there. Immediately when you enter the store this strong horrible smell hits you in the face. I was in there maybe 5 minutes and my head began to hurt. The store is full of old,outdated, and over prices items. I spotted clothes that were literally stained for sale. Just Fab shoes priced at 18.99 that were easily 15 years old (ai know because I bought those shoes from Just Fab and they weren't even 20$ because they were from a way older collection). The Women's clothes, shoes and purses were all just not worth looking at. The men's frrss shoes had a few finds because men's dress shoes are usually well made and leather. Anyhow, it's pretty misleading to call this a Boutique. I wouldn't recommend it at all. read more

This goodwill location frequently has some cool finds and designer items. Many items appeared to be in like-new condition. While there, they were putting out items from Prada. The store has limited parking on both sides and street parking also. It is worth a trip to see what they have for a great price. The staff actually were helpful too, but it can get quite crowded. read more

This Goodwill store is one of their boutique locations that sell name brands and may be priced higher than a traditional Goodwill store. Some boutique locations have tried to make their stores look nicer but this store looked more like a traditional Goodwill. In addition to name brand and designer clothes, they sell home decor, art, toys, jewelry, and accessories. A pair of Coach shoes caught my eye. This had to be the most crowded Goodwill I have ever been in. The store is small with cramped aisles and it looked like everyone in town was here. Prices are higher here so as always know the worth of what you are buying. I saw things that weren't boutique worthy priced as if they were. Mixed in with the few treasures are many more everyday items priced higher than they should be. I struck out during my visit but it was still fun looking and as always thrifting helps the planet by reusing items that might have otherwise ended up in a landfill. read more

First, if you are an avid Thrifter, you are familiar with the Goodwill boutique concept. I have been to two others in the country one in Charlotte and one on the West Coast. They are set up much like a regular retail store in the layout, the racks, the lighting, etc. It's very impressive and a nice thrifting experience. Those stores select the cream of the crop items to put on display. Given that, this is not a boutique experience. This is more like a small, regular thrift store. When I walked in, I got a mild thrift store sent. The store is very small and tight and is set up very much like a regular thrift store with long racks of clothing. It says it's organized by size, but of course they were sizes mixed into other places, so if you have the time you will need to look through all of the racks to possibly find something you like. The pricing was decent. As we've seen many thrift store, prices have increased recently. The selection was also decent with low to mid range level of designers. There were also housewares. So, it's definitely not a standard goodwill boutique, but you may find some thing. read more

Has gone downhill because Goodwill wants to compete with resellers. Basically, when I came here you could find affordable, good brand clothing. What they have here is a bit better than regular goodwill stores, as it shows they have newer and less used items. When I visited back in April 2022, the prices were actually not that bad. $14.99 for a pair of gently worn Stuart Weitzman Womens heels. $9.99 for a Zara top new with tags. $8.99 for gently worn Athleta leggings- just a little bit more than your typical thrift store. They also participate in the half off color of the week. Now when I went in July, prices have increased outrageously. I mean, I couldn't find a good pair of shoes for under $19.99 and they were mostly around $25 to $30. I mean, bad brands, used, dirty. The clothes have gone up about $4-6 so what once cost $8 is now costing around $13. Cheap stuff, go take a look at the purses. They are charging $40 for a worn tattered up MK purse from 2011. $50 for a fake leather jacket from 2004. I mean the list goes ON. Terrible. Will not be coming here again unless it's to make a TikTok video of how ridiculous this place has become haha. read more

My new thing is browsing thrift shops. I visited this location for the first time and was not as impressed as I was hoping to be. Pros - This store is by far the most organized Goodwill I have been to. They have a huge selection of clothing and shoes that is very nicely organized. Huge props for that. Cons - The few items that caught my eye seemed to be a little overpriced. There is a better selection of clothing at this location but a couple of things I picked up I have bought at Marshalls and Ross for just a few dollars more. This is more of a consignment shop rather than a "Goodwill." This store also doesn't do the color of the week. I think this would be a great addition to get more customers in. Curated cheap wearables and a few miscellaneous household items. How this place is rated so low and Avalon across the street is rated so high is beyond me. This store has a broad selection and clothing appears to be almost "curated." Even a large bridal selection in the rear! Prices are super reasonable here - got a couple very cute and nearly new, and one NWT dresses, work/causal for $12.99 each. Bought a brand new-ish costume jewelry necklace for $4.99 that would have been 10x that price at a mall. IME, sizes are limited for smaller/slimmer, but stock changes pretty often. Once a month to 6 weeks is pretty good frequency to stop by. Store itself has almost no odor of "B.O." Small area up near register allows for up to 3 folks at a time to try on clothes, maximum 6 items at a time. Staff is pleasant, but not quite friendly. Parking is street or lot adjacent. Apparently there is some sort of Goodwill rewards program, too, that gives points per dollar plus discounts. TL/dr: Used but not abused stuff at a decent price. read more

I'm a big fan of the goodwills in the Orlando area because they offer the point system for frequent shoppers. This one is unique in that it's unlike a typical goodwill, it's a "boutique" mostly clothes and most of clothes are brand new with the tags still on. But while other goodwills will have a shirt be $4.29 or $6.99. The shirts run a bit not expensive here. It would be off to see a blouse from some no name brand listed full price at $74 and then have the goodwill tag price at $24.99. I mean it sounds like a deal?? except when you remember this is a consignment shop of used/donated products. I do consider them a bit pricer than their counterparts. But they do have some cool stuff if you're willing to shell out the cash. read more

Well-organized and some interesting selections, but... I've literally found the same exact items sold at this Goodwill being sold cheaper and brand-new at Marshalls/TjMaxx/JcPenny (on sale) during in the same month. Because they're "boutique", their items are priced higher, but I think they're too high for selling used items. Especially given that you can often buy same or similar items at any discount store brand new (and with a return policy) - I've gone here many years and have found this to be true over and over. But, they're still a good option to have in your rotation for shopping. read more

Most of the clothing items were new with tags. Less household items than a typical thrift shop and a little pricier. They have a weekly sale based on the color of the ticket so you can snag some good deals. I didn't find anything this time around but I will give them another try. read more

Even though the name on the sign says "boutique" I was unsure what that meant in the context of the Goodwill--which is a great organization bringing clothing to those who really need it. It was extremely well organized and very clean inside. Generally, the store was separated by men's and women's fashions with a small home goods section in the back. Then each rack was separated by style and then by color; not by size unfortunately. Each pair of shoes or pants I picked up was a name brand item and in some instances, still had the original tags on it. For example, I saw quite a few pairs of Banana Republic pants and Old Navy Capris still bearing the store's pricing. Of course things were much cheaper due to the philosophy of the Goodwill. The shoe selection for women was impressive by anyone's standards. I saw Michael Kors ballet flats, Steve Madden pumps and Charles David boots for only $19.99. There was also a special circular rack dedicated to wedding dresses which I thought is a nice thing for anyone who is really down on their luck and might not be able to afford a brand new gown. I was happy to note as I was leaving that on a rainy afternoon, this store was full of people happily shopping. read more

This complaint is about every Goodwill. Corporate should not be so GREEDY. Everything is donated at Goodwill. You are suppose to help people. Why do you need to mark prices so high that we can buy new items at the department stores for less money. Things that are used from Dollar Tree that sells for $1.25 new, you mark at $2.99. This is crazy. People that are out of work are single parents need help. You also should be ashamed of yourself for pulling all the half price items before the half price color comes out on Sunday. I know you do this as I have been there when workers are doing this. Also I have pictures of items that have had the tags torn part of the way off and a new tag put on. This is GREED in my book. I have complained to management, but this is what corporate tells them to do. . If you Don't want to sell at half price you should not advertise it. Great little shop with quality items. Formal gowns, women's vintage suits, and an array of blazers, many in petite sizes which was a huge surprise for me. Clothes, books, kitchen items and the like in a snug (Thanks Marysol :) boutique. At the time I visited name brands like Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, and many others were represented. This Goodwill is undergoing an interior renovation to upgrade the flooring, fixtures and overall make the space look more in line with its "boutique" name. Unfortunately, this also seems to be reflected in the prices now (e.g., $24.99 sets of Russian dolls and $19.99 dresses by no particular designer) - at least the merchandise on offer was good quality but there were none of the deals you might expect on my last couple visits. A bit of an investment/strategy change for them; I hope it works out. read more

I am giving this thrift-store a three star, because of many selections and how items are categorized. I was here on a friday night & many people are coming in at the store. They have All what you need in a wardrobe!!! There is a long rack of gowns and on the other side of the wall, there is a rack of wedding gowns and I saw some wedding shoes as well! This is really a thrift-boutique! I have seen brand new accessories as well like bags & wallets still with price tags, what I liked the most is the small home items at the back part of the store, which is really way cheap and some seem unused as well. However, the reason I gave this place a 3 star only is the price of most of the clothes & the quality as well, I am sure I can find better deals at Outlet Mall for unused items. I love this store! It is much larger than the Goodwill Boutique I use to shop at in Sarasota! I usually score awesome steals here with tags. My favorite piece I ever found here was a brand new pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps which retail for $400 and I got them for $24.00! Some people complain that the prices are a little higher than regular Goodwill but you got to look at the quality and opportunity for a great deal. New items come everyday so if you don't hit jackpot, come back next weekend. Last thing! They give student discounts! 10% off your purchase with a student ID. I hope you have as much luck as myself! And a tip: Use the bathroom before and wear comfortable clothes. Thrifting takes time and can get a little warm when you are in the fitting room. read more

I think this place is great! I'm an occasional thrifer so this spot was right up my alley. This Goodwill is smaller than most locations but the selection is nice. During my most recent visit I was looking for a pair of jeans to turn into to shorts and I found several nice pairs for my project. There were also several other items that I probably would have purchased if I was on a regular shopping trip, but I had to stay focused on my goal :) . I found several name brand/higher end items during my search for the perfect pair of jeans. I do have to mention that many of the items in this Goodwill are priced slightly higher than those found in your normal Goodwill locations; however, the prices are still lower than any department store that you may shop in. Plus many items still had the original tags on them and were brand new. Like all other Goodwill locations they offer several discounts that make the already cheap prices even cheaper. read more

Unfortunately, over the past year, they apparently have someone else picking their household items out and now a lot of it is junk that was made in China two weeks ago.
