Add to that bland, dry, unseasoned pizza cut into slivers, and an owner who seemingly could not care less that the prices are out of line, I'm not bothering to give any repeat business. Paying twenty eight dollars for a two ingredient pizza is just ridiculous. That being said, we did like the six sweet chili wings. They were fried to crispy perfection and nicely sauced. My husband and I arrived in Winterport after a long day of driving unfamiliar roads in the driving rain. After checking in at a B&B across the street, we dashed over to Winterport Pizza. Sadly, it was after closing time, and the nearest restaurant was 30 miles away. The manager took pity on us and reopened the kitchen just for us. Their gluten free supreme was fabulous. Even though a sign on the door stated ' please be patient. We are understaffed'. The staff was virtuous and the meal came quickly. Not spectacular food, just basic good wholesome fare. Lovely view of the fort across the water , too. read more

What a great little pizza place, and priced very reasonably. But besides the awesome pizza there is also a vintage ms. Pac man arcade game in the sit-down area. Delicious eats in Winterport Village area. Pizza is a medium dough, not to thin not to thick, basically the goldilocks of dough, and quality toppings. Salads are always fresh and their olive oil/balsamicdressing is wonderful. I love their feta bread, great addition to a salad. Delicious chewy crust ...even gets a little poofy. Had a eggplant supreme with really great crisp fried eggplant, garlic, tomato and mushroom. Truly delicious. Kids cheese pizza looked great too. Been getting take-out from here for years, food always better than what you typically find in rural Maine. Then last night happened...long day, tired, and a house-full of hungry people. Called in my order for 3 pizzas at 5:07, told 30 minutes, and arrived at 5:43 to discover they hadn't even been made yet. Tried to find out what happened and the woman in charge only became defensive and tried to ignore me. When I told her that she just lost a customer, just got a "fine". Waited for my pizzas and thought, if I even get one of these for free I could let this go, but nothing, nada, no apology (except from the poor kid at the register), just a woman (let's call her "rat-tail") continuing to ignore me. I understand irate customers, and I understand customer service. What could've resolved this would've been something as simple as, "can I offer you a free snack or drink while you wait?" Or, "these pizzas are on the house". They would've lost $30 that night, but instead, they lost a customer. Got a negative Facebook and Yelp! review, and word of mouth travels fast. How many other people will read this or listen to my story at work and decide to get a burrito instead? Far more than the $20-30 they might've lost last night. Like I said, food is decent, but I can't find it in myself to support a business that treated me like they did last night. read more

Horrible - I'm not a picky person but they literally threw my burger together...the bottom bun was all soggy and way too small for the burger the fries were soggy and under cooked. It was so messy I couldn't even eat it. My daughters chicken tenders looked pitiful at best. Wife's salad tasted like they didn't clean the veggies. You should stick to pizza only I guess. read more

Their pizza is so good you can't stop eating the specials and your favorite toppings and they do load you up with toppings. Stringy thick amounts of cheese everything!. Ordered beef nachos just on a fluke and couldn't stop eating them. They would easily feed a family of four. Every topping fresh, guacamole, sour cream, delicious salsa; amazing. My spouse had eggplant parmesan and it was delicious. The slices were thick, breaded and fried perfectly and served with a sauce to die for. The facility offers all types of foods including deli-style and it is worth every cent. Daily specials are offered to fill any hungry appetite. Don't miss this stop.
