    Pizza Skulls
    Arianne M.

Came here on a random Thursday afternoon and ordered a box of Asada Pizza and 8-pieces pizza skulls. We had 20 or so minutes to wait so we bantered at the tables. Got the pizza lickity split and ate it at home. Pizza Skulls reminded me of a garlic knot or a mini calzone. Cheesy and the marinara sauce was spot on. Pepperoni and cheese was inside the skulls. The Asada Pizza was flavorful, great, and not oily at all. Total came about $50 but not bad for the amount. Had leftovers in the end.

Got the Al pastor pizza and skull-ronis. Next day, gave us upset stomach and lasted on-off throughout the whole day (couldn't eat for half the day). Both my bf and I ate the skullronis together (he ate the pizza by himself) -- something is wrong with the skullronis. We eat healthy and never had a bad stomachache like this... this is our first time eating at winzza and it was our cheat meal after a good gym sesh. Service lady was nice though, so the 1 star added was for her.

Alright gluten free baddies listen up! This place has not one but TWO types of gluten free crust. Chicken breast OR cauliflower! The zero carb chicken breast pizza crust was amazing! It's extremely thin but with the toppings it still fills you up. It's only available in small size but again, filling. My son ordered wings and said they were 8/10 and the crispy fries were 9/10. There's also vegan topping options so if you want to go somewhere that's good and has different diets in mind, this is your place! They also have sandwiches, wings, pasta, pizza, etc. so if everyone is in the mood for something different, you can still eat here!

Run, don't walk! Winzza just opened up in Panorama City and they have a $5 medium 4 topping pizza promo. I was craving pizza all day yesterday so the first thing I did this morning was place an order online. Upon arriving, I can tell they still setting up the restaurant because a lot of things were still not hooked up or filled, but that didn't matter because the entire place smelled AMAZING. I was greeted by who I think may have been the owners son. He couldn't have been more than 10 years old. The pizza came out on time and I drove all the way home with high anticipation. The moment I got home, I shoved 2 pizza slices in my mouth before realizing I forgot to take a photo of the pizza. Hence, the missing slices in the photo. Anyways, I ordered a traditional pizza with sausage, pepperoni, Canadian ham, and garlic. This was the perfect pizza. What usually makes or breaks a pizza for me is their pizza sauce, and Winzza did not disappoint. Might be one of my top favorites! The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The garlic was really a nice touch. Not all pizzerias offer garlic as a topping but Winzza really won me over with this addition. Overall, the entire experience was positive. I will have to come back very soon before the $5 deal ends! But you know what? Promo or no promo, I would come back.

    Looks hella good

This place is the best pizza and wing place I've ever been to in the San Fernando valley if you want a good quality and cheap pizza with amazing customer service come to this place no words that can explain how awesome and cool these workers are. The time it took to get the pizza was out of this world it was very fast

A newcomer to this area, this pizza joint could make a splash! "It's a good pie, Frankie" - Portnoy would say. I ordered the medium pizza with up to 4 toppings online for $7.99. I went with pepperoni, mushrooms and pineapple on thin crust. The user-friendly website showed me that the pizza is 15 minutes away from being ready. When I got my pie, it was looking beautiful- perfectly-charred, nice undercarriage, almost no flop. All the ingredients tasted very fresh and yummy. At that price and with that quality, this pizza is definitely a winner. The spot itself has about 5 dine-in tables, has fastfood-ish vibes and it's not pretending to be anything else, although their vast selection of signature pizzas and insane crusts like pigs in the blanket crust, may make you rethink the fastfood status for this place. In addition, the customer service was very friendly. The parking kinda sucks and the plaza is a bit shady, but the food spots on the plaza are great, including this one. Will definitely come back again!

Pizza was very delicious and had the best crust I've ever had. Would recommend 100% for the pizza. The pasta and mozzarella sticks were good too just probably would not be getting them again. The area is not super nice since there was a lot of homeless people around but inside the pizza place was clean and they were ready to help. The server guided us through the process. Would definitely recommend!!

    Detroit style meat lovers pizza

I've had this place bookmarked for months since I moved here, and I wish I tried it sooner! This place is legit and everything is made fresh. I love a good Detroit style pizza and my wife loves asada pizza so it was a match made in heaven. The dough is super good, good fermentation, light and airy. The cheese crust on the Detroit pizza was perfection, great crunch but not burnt. The meat lovers blend is delicious and I love the sausage that they use. The asada pizza is really solid as well, the crema and jalapeños really brings it together. The pizza bites are awesome, and I love how they change it up based on the season. We went a bit overboard and had a ton of leftovers, but the pizza reheats well. The staff was super friendly, and they even have a kiosk to order when it gets busy. The lot is spot and busy so be prepared to look for parking or make your own temp spot. Will be back to try other specialty pizzas!

    Pizza skulls

Came here for some dinner and accidentally ordered too many pizza skulls, we thought they were smaller but they were a pretty big size one or two is definitely enough. The wings were really good , I would recommend trying some and the Alfredo as well! Only thing with the Alfredo is there was not really any chicken on it. Our pizza skulls came out a bit undercooked but we mentioned to staff and they had no issue heating them up for longer for us and even gave us extra, also super friendly and apologized. There is a bit amount of seating and they stay busy with people coming in and out. Will be coming back :)

First time trying Winzza. We got a Hawaiian pizza, Detroit style and we had the chicken masala sauce with garlic fries. Very tasty

The bread was perfectly toasted and had a nice, crunchy bite. The pork was still warm. The veggies were fresh and crunchy! It hit the spot. So good!! We usually order to eat with friends or pack for a trip, and they hold up well. The price for #10 was $10.25, but on the receipt it said $11.25. plus extra surcharge for credit card. Let me just say, perfect, excellent, tasty, yum, etc. great sandwich, packed full of flavor, bread and pork are perfect, really, really love banh mi sandwiches anyway, but this one is true to the classic. All sandwiches are also $10, so go crazy and try a couple different ones, to me nothing beats the grilled pork though. You can enter from the street, but will have to find metered parking, so just drive around back, they have a small free lot and you can enter from the rear. There are not any seats to eat there, so everything is to go, but service is quick and the guy was nice behind the counter. Go check them out, grab a lotto ticket if your into that, get some great food, support a local woman & minority owned business, not enough of them out there. Enjoy!

I was intrigued when I saw a spot that I had never heard of with a good yelp rating, I had to check it out. After reading a few of the reviews, and looking at the photographs I was sold. The Antidote delivery was close by, but let me tell you I had difficulty finding it. I want to make sure that others are aware of the challenge because it is definitely worth it. The issue is the signage. I was confident when I walked in and told Arthur, the gentleman behind the counter, that there was no sign, indicating Antidote Delivery, he politely corrected me. It turns out that next to the "market" sign there is an exclamation mark Which shows antidote delivery. My eyes went right over it and I never saw it, as a result I found myself circling around, trying to find the correct location. Once you find it, you may be hesitant to enter thinking that this is just a liquor store. In fact, this market has been here for 25 years and they prepare a fresh submarine sandwich that is delicious. So here is what you need to know upfront, the ambience is not desirable, so plan on a takeout. But if you're looking for a local business with a fresh delicious submarine sandwich, I would give this a try. Arthur was very kind to explain that they do deliveries within 5 miles for $2.99. So if you live within 5 miles you can order your sandwich and have it delivered. It's convenient because it's also a liquor store. You can order anything else at the same time and have that included for that nominal fee. It's always nice to support local places, this feels like a family business but I didn't ask so I'm not sure. One thing I'm certain of, I will be returning.

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!

It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

It's better than the yellow pages, offering everything from handyman services and guitar lessons, to divorce attorneys and mobile RV repair. But I digress. Did I mention how massive the sandwiches are?! I went with the two most popular items on the menu, starting off with the Al Capone (hot Pastrami, double meat, on crusty bread). This is an excellent sandwich, and the meat is pretty lean - not a lot of fat). I also ordered the Godfather (cold Italian Sub - Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham, Capocollo, Salami, Pepperoni, Swiss Cheese and Provolone). Also, delicious. You rarely get turkey and roast beef in an Italian sub - so good. The service was very friendly and helpful. There are a few indoor tables, in case you can't wait for that first bite. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often; I would be here all the time. Definitely one of the best sandwiches in LA. If you haven't been to Cricca's, then you don't know sandwiches.

I placed the order online and headed over to this busy section of Studio City. Street parking can be tricky especially in the afternoon, and there are 'parking ticketers' out in force. This was my first time here at this location, but they had a handy takeout window at the one end, and a friendly guy handed me the bag. As for the food, I could only eat half of the sandwich; one reason is because it was a Lot of sandwich and second, I didn't really enjoy this for the most part (I did give the other half to a hungry co-worker who did like it). Then my favorite part, the cookies. I ordered two orders (two come in an order) so I had four to enjoy. The first bag was a decent sized pair of cookies, but they shafted me on the second order. This was basically one cookie cut to make two which was clearly noticeable compared to the other order. I was too far to return these but next time, it's something I will check on before leaving. I didn't have this problem the first time I came here (even though it was a different location) but as for anything, I recommend checking your order prior to leaving.
