Can't say enough good things about this place. The food is always delicious. Portions are huge. I can come here anytime and enjoy trying out all their delicious foods. Service was great. We love it. It was so fast so very ideal if you were hungry. Lastly I noticed the updated retro decor of the entire interior space of the restaurant. Norms is a late night diner staple. Open 24/7, it's always busy but they always have room for everyone who walks through their doors. Mornings and holidays are when it's most packed. The employees hustle and bustle to get the food out in a timely manner. You never have to worry about waiting for the check as it's always dropped off at your table for you to pay at the front counter whenever you're ready. The menu is your standard diner fare, with breakfast being the most filling. They have lots of booths and tables for every configuration if you're coming with a group. The interior is as clean as could be, and the restrooms require codes to access. Overall Norms is pretty aces when it comes to diners. It's a good place to unwind and catch up, have a family meal, grab a quick bite with friends, share a milkshake with your sweetie, or have a nice cup of Joe (their Colombian coffee is strong!). 2026/02/07 update: Today was a good day to come here for lunch, I was expecting the wait to be long but when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see no wait, I got seated immediately. My friend treated me to lunch here for my birthday. Their menu changed from 2 months ago. I was kinda looking forward to a T-bone steak trio but they changed it to a NY Steak Trio. It was good and filling, but I still prefer the T-bone steak trio. The service was friendly and professional and attentive. The 1/3rd T-Bone & Eggs plate was perfect (although I really wish the "eggs" were larger, it seemed pretty small) since it came with hashbrowns and pancakes. The food hit very hard, and the steak was cooked to our liking!!! It was okay in terms of flavor. I wish it was warmer and cozier inside, they don't close the front door and leave it open. It was super chilly out and they still had their ceiling fans on at high speed. Some super sketch people around the area, so just be aware. This place was very popular on a Sunday afternoon assuming it was a church rush but we got sat (our party of 4) within 15 minutes which was very impressive. They really know how to provide quick and quality service and turn the tables around fast. I ordered the "Classic breakfast" which included two eggs of choice (I got over medium), hash browns, choice of bacon or sausage (I got bacon) and choice of toast or pancakes (I got pancakes). I also ordered the "Jamaica," agua Fresca and it was so refreshing. Our servers name was "Dolly" and she was very kind and helpful to us. The restaurant maintained a clean environment. I would def come back here again and try other menu items. I highly recommend this place if you want good diner food at a great price as well. Our check was about $60 and (4) people ate! read more

Norms will forever feel like home to me. I've been coming to this location for as long as I can remember. I especially love the feel & look inside during the holiday season. It could get busy during lunch or dinner hours but usually won't wait over 30 minutes. My parents eat there weekly. Recently I joined them on one of their lunch dates. I've been to the one in West Hollywood a couple of times, and while that one has a roomier entrance and easier parking layout, this spot still had plenty of charm. The parking area here felt a bit more congested, especially getting in, but once inside the experience made up for it. We went on a Friday night, so there was a bit of a wait. I was told 15-20 minutes but was pleasantly surprised--it ended up being only about 8 minutes. The host was friendly and welcoming. Our family of three was seated in a cozy booth, and I really liked how the layout creates smaller, more intimate sections--it gives it that classic, old-school diner feel. Our server, Ms Kristina was amazing (just like so many other reviews have said). She was warm, engaging, and attentive without being overbearing. Great customer service--she checked in on us several times throughout the meal. The food came out hot and fresh. The onion rings were a bit crispier than I prefer, but everything else was on point. The fried fish was basic but perfectly cooked--light, golden, and crispy. I added some freshly chopped onions and pickles to give it a little extra flavor, and it was perfect. It's definitely a nostalgic, old-school spot with a relaxed, friendly vibe. The floors had a few crumbs when we first walked in, but I noticed a staff member sweeping not long after we were seated, which was appreciated. My wife and I went to Norms for dinner last night, 5/3/26. The hostess took my name and we got seated in no time. Jorge, our server, graciously greeted us immediately and took our drink order and delivered our beverages in no time. He took our food order right away and we got our food in about 15-20 minutes . My wife ordered the club sandwich without bacon with onion rings and I ordered the habanero bacon cheeseburger without bacon with fries. Everything appeared to be in order in the beginning however after I took the second bite from my burger I noticed that the cook had forgotten to add the batter-fried jalapeno, however the burger was topped with the blister fried jalapeno. I didn't complain about it with our server because usually complaints conveyed from servers to cooks usually get neglected and the cooks will keep doing the same mistakes over and over, so I decided to do a review about the kitchen staff and perhaps the district manager will direct the chef in charge to properly evaluate the cooks on their knowledge about their entrees ingredients and how to properly prepare them. The service was good as usual, Jorge is an efficient and well trained sever, his service was impeccable. Please tell your cooks not to cut corners and do their job properly don't accept any excuses. Sadly, I just haven't been happy with my last few meals there. They've got a lot of good things going for them: the setting is retro-groovy, and the servers are still great. I've dined at various times over the years at a few of the Norm's restaurants. This one has a great, old school diner ambiance. The menu is diverse. My visits are usually very early AM so I'm a breakfast dude here. A good selection of omelettes, various egg dishes, waffles and French toast. I love their pancakes with an egg scramble with cheese, bacon, salsa and green onion. The service is always very good here as is the food which is reasonably priced for the quality. Norm's is open 24 hours and I love that it's always available when I'm hungry in the AM. Norm's never disappoints. read more

I've been eating at Norm's since I was a young kid and that's a lot of years. The food is so affordable and bountiful. My friend and I had such an excellent waitress. Kristina recommended a breakfast sandwich for my friend. He mentioned that there was one he used to enjoy at Denny's and she knew right away what would be comparable to order. My friend said it was even better than the one he used to have at Denny's restaurants! Our waitress, Kristina was incredibly helpful. My friends and I took my mom out to her favorite place, Norms for her 82nd Birthday this Friday the 26th. It also happened to be National Pancake Day where for 99 cents you can get pancakes for dine-in or take out. Pancakes at Norms are my mom's favorite. We all ordered pancakes to take home!!!! The food and service was excellent!! We ordered appetizer sample plate, club sandwich, fish and chips, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, porter house steak with eggs, t-bone steak with eggs (both with hash browns and pancakes), tres leches for mom and we also shared the large sundae. Watermelon lemonade with Boba was a hit as well as strawberry milkshake. The corn bread was great, too.
