I'm a delivery driver and came to pick up an order and restaurants are required by Law to have all food and drinks packaged up by employees. They try to get me to fill up a fountain drink, which sounds like no big deal, but it is a Health code violation because drivers don't have food handlers cards because we're not supposed to be tampering with anything. That's why most responsible corporate restaurants have stickers that go over the top of the drink and seal it because they are supposed to fill it and not third-party delivery drivers who don't wash their hands The fact that a rude employee tried to argue with me over health code laws in front of the entire restaurant, makes me think what things are doing behind the counter that are even worse. By the time I got home, I was experiencing severe stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting and dry heaving. From 8 PM Saturday until 3 AM Today 8.5.2025 morning, I was completely down and out. I couldn't sleep, had night sweats and felt weak and lethargic. I couldn't even drink water without forcing myself and it didn't stay down long because I would throw up the water within minutes. I've only had food poisoning once before back in 2018, and this felt exactly the same. While the service at this location was great, I'm pretty sure the food got me sick. We ordered lemon pepper fries with extra seasoning and cajun corn with EXTRA seasoning, when we opened the bag we saw immediately that the fries had very little seasoning. It really wasn't a big deal but once we opened the corn, there is NO SEASONING at all! i mean why even have the option to add seasoning let alone, extra seasoning, if there will be none at all. To top everything off, we got someone else's chicken wings... so i didn't even get to eat the new "exclusive" wings i ordered I guess the persons name, who's wings we ended up getting, starts with the same first letter as ours, J. At a different location than this but I swore I wasn't going to go back. However, as soon as we walked it, Mamie Francis greeted us and started off our visit fantastically! Yes, you can walk in and have someone say hello, but not Mamie!! She was so smiley, welcoming, kind, and helpful as soon as we stepped inside. She explained to us the menu, made great suggestions, and answered all of our questions. Mamie not only started off our visit fantastically but she kept at it! I brought this to Christians attention, and he let me know they were closing, and couldn't help me. But recommended I call in the morning. I called the morning of the 29th around 11am. And was placed on a long hold. When I called again later that afternoon I was given the run around again, and told to call on the 30th (Today). Which I did. I called several times throughout the day, and was continuously placed on hold or just left on hold. I have screen shots of these 10+ minute hold times. When I finally was directed to an assistant manager, I told her my entire story, to which she replies, you'll have to speak with my manager. But she's on a zoom meeting, can you call her back at 2pm. I called back and spoke with Sandra, who was inexplicably RUDE, And dismissive. She never let me get a word in to explain to her anything, and in 2 short minutes she tells me call me back at 5pm when the other manager is here because this is RIDICULOUS. I could not believe that she was so rude with the way she was handling the situation. Still I remained calm, and callled back at 5pm again, just to be left on hold for 11 minutes. With the call then just being "dropped". I feel extremely unwelcome, unheard, and undervalued as a customer. There are MANY choices in fast food.
