Beware of Robert Moncada - very unprofessional experience. I hired Robert to install an EV charger and was told I had to buy the charger directly from him. He claimed it was new (just open-box) and under warranty. After just one use, the charger malfunctioned and stopped working. When I reached out to Robert, he responded hours later saying he had bought the charger off eBay and had already filed a claim because he suspected there was an issue with it. So he knew there might be a problem with the equipment before selling and installing it -- completely unacceptable. I offered several reasonable solutions, including letting him keep the labor fee plus an extra $40, and just refunding me for the faulty charger so I could buy a new one myself. After that, he stopped responding. By the third day, I realized he had blocked me entirely. This was a frustrating, shady, and unprofessional experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this service provider.

Wired Up Electrical is a fantastic and affordable electrical company! We previously used Robert and his company because they were most affordable to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet to fast charge our Teslas. We then used them again to install a 2nd outlet for our Tesla and to install 4 recessed lights in our living room. Robert and his wife worked quickly, cleaned up and covered our furniture while they worked efficiently to get the lights installed. I'm ecstatic with the results! They are more affordable than anyone else I got a quote from and yet still had such professionalism. I will definitely use this company again if I have any electrical issues or upgrades that I need addressed! Highly recommend!

Robert gave me an estimate through Yelp messaging with only a description and photos I sent him. His price was competitive with other estimates I received. Other electricians wanted to come out to review and give an estimate. He was able to come out within a few days when I was available. He was very nice and respectable. I asked if he could put on protective shoe booties, and he did without any complaints. His work was very quick and neat. He cleaned up after himself and tested everything before leaving.

I decided to called them again since they previously installed my ceiling fans. I wanted to upgrade my wall switch that controls my ceiling fan for a two button wall switch. I texted him a picture of a something that I wanted it. He said it was going to be $175.00, for parts and labor. I said fine , but I wanted a specific color for the wall plate and buttons. He said if I can get the parts, he'll just deducted from the $175.00. I go to Home Depot, I found the color I wanted, I texted to him and he said those will work. We set up a time that same day for him to come. I get a text from later saying "am I supposed to jump over the gate?", I thought that's a weird way of asking for the gate code, my name is on the directory to open up the gate. I know English isn't his first language so I didn't thought much of it. I texted him the gate code. I waited for him outside my house. Right away he was very confrontational, he said "I thought you were Chinese because they are always trying to low ball me". I was confused, he said, "the original price I quoted you for a cheaper wall plate and buttons and now you bought some more expensive ones". I said that was never my intention, the parts I got cost me $25.00. He said , "the quote I gave you it would been $10.00 for parts". I was lost for words, if he would of been nicer for the start, I would of been more than glad to renegotiate, I would of still paid him the $175.00 and wouldn't deduct for the parts for I bought. He just said I rather starve than to work for people like you and just walked away and drove off. I posted a picture of my Ring camera that recorded the whole situation in case he wants to call me a lier. I get it we all have bad days but a business owner should never act like that. I called my back up electrician and he did the job for way cheaper, anyone feel free to message me for his contact information.

I don't know how the service would have gone, but I called and the guy told me to send my address because he was driving. I did and message about what services I would need done. Well he never responded back so I called to leave a message. Next day of appointment comes no show, call with phone number & address again. Then 30 minutes after late call again no answer. Finally an hour after scheduled appointment finally get through to a person and he says no he's not coming and no rescheduled time to come either. WHAT a waste of time and effort. Called and scheduled for someone to come out, they told me they could be here later that afternoon after 3. I set aside my time to be available and nobody ever showed up. I texted and asked if they would still be coming or needed to come another day and nobody showed up. I don't ever leave reviews but it's time to start holding these companies/workers accountable because ever since covid they feel they are entitled and the average consumer means nothing. Robert is AMAZING, both professionally and personally. My project was a bit weird and he took the time to talk to me about it and drove over the same day, despite it being 6pm at that point. He quickly installed my new NEMA 6-20 240V outlet for my new Level 2 EV charger, and charged a very reasonable amount for it. I contacted these guys on a Tuesday and they came on Thursday and got the job done. We needed ceiling fans installed in 4 rooms. One of the rooms had zero electrical wiring. They had THE BEST prices, they were on time, super friendly, and did an amazing job. One of the ceiling fans was swaying like crazy. He told us the motor was off centered and allowed us to run to Lowe's to return it. 10/10 would definitely use these guys in the future. I highly recommend them! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Came over and asked for cash only. No receipt was provided. Very limited help and did not solve my problem. I told him the issue and all he did was replace a part without doing any further testing. Called him back and he said he couldn't do anything. They failed to show up. After telling the truth, we have been bombarded with messages from the owner, Robert. Then we were told the company doesn't "Need clients like us". We were also told the owner has many costumes. I'm not really sure what that means. So if you're a family living in Centennial Hills - don't call. So I called Wired up electrical on Saturday to have them come out on Monday after failing to accomplish the task I had set for my self. We needed a chandelier installed in our dinning area and I couldn't get it stay stuck to the wall in stable condition. Wired up sent Ernesto who said that I was using a wrong kit and went out to get the correct one. Once he bought the correct kit he installed with and had the job done in under 1.5 hour. Robert squeezed me in for installation of three electrical boxes in the ceiling in only two days and with high quality. He was very communicative before, during, and after the job was complete. In addition, he even accommodated another installation in a fourth room that I had decided on just that morning. He arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment and completed everything in no time. Contacted them on Yelp...they responded within an hour. Gave a good quote and said they would do the work the next morning. They hung 2 ceiling fans (one about 20 feet high) and 13 other fixtures. Everything looks great and they were very professional and showed up on time (early). Highly recommend! read more

Understandable, but still incredibly stressful when you're suddenly without power. Ampere Electric was the exception. Not only did they answer the phone, they had someone at my house within an hour. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived it was late in the evening and there wasn't much that could safely be done until NV Energy could disconnect service the next morning. What impressed me was that they didn't make promises they couldn't keep. Instead, they told me exactly what would happen: they would coordinate with NV Energy first thing in the morning, get the power disconnected, and begin work immediately. That's exactly what happened. Patricio and Carlos arrived early and worked hard all day. They replaced the equipment, completed the installation, and had everything finished by around 3 PM. At that point, the only thing left was waiting for NV Energy to return so final restoration could take place. Unfortunately, NV Energy was completely inundated and running far behind schedule. This is where Ampere really separated themselves from every other contractor I've worked with. Patricio and Carlos could have easily packed up, told us we'd have to wait until the next day, and moved on to their next job. Instead, they stayed. They waited outside my house for hours. They repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience even though the delay wasn't their fault in any way. They had done their job and done it well, yet they refused to leave until the entire situation was resolved. NV Energy didn't arrive until nearly 8 PM. Patricio and Carlos were still there. The moment NV Energy completed their portion, they immediately restored everything, verified that power was working properly, and stayed until we were fully situated and every aspect of the job was complete. That level of customer service is rare. They didn't leave us stranded. They didn't pass the problem to someone else. They didn't do the minimum. They saw the job all the way through from start to finish, even when it meant spending their entire day and evening making sure their customers were taken care of. I am incredibly impressed with Ampere Electric, and especially with Patricio and Carlos. If you want a company that does what they say they're going to do, communicates honestly, and treats your problem like it's their problem, this is the team to call. Five stars, without hesitation. Didn't do a bad job after the fact, but lost power to all the electrical outlets in one room, and all the power in the other room. I called around for an expert. I thought it might have something to do with the breaker panel. 24-7 lived up to their name as they were able to have someone come out within the hour. A couple of other places didn't have people until two or three days later. Rene showed up. I told him everything I did and after some trial and error, he figured out the problem. I did everything correct, but there was a bad GFCI outlet that I didn't even touch that was stressed out. We ended up replacing it. He fixed it and checked all my work while teaching me about electricity. He was really professional, respectful and a patient teacher. He let me ask all the questions I wanted. He even took off his shoes even when I said it wasn't necessary. If there are future projects where I need a professional, I would definitely call these guys and Rene again. And the work is guaranteed for one year.

After that, charging began to stop 2-3 hours in, with error messages indicating the outlet was overheating and charging had been halted for safety reasons. To work around the issue, I reduced the charging speed to 32 amps, which worked for another three months. Eventually, the same overheating error started occurring again. To rule out problems with my vehicle or charger, I had both inspected at the dealership. They confirmed that the issue was with the outlet, exactly as the error messages indicated. Once I had that confirmation, I contacted Able Electric to address the problem with their installation. They refused to come out and inspect it unless I paid for a service visit. Instead of taking responsibility, they asked whether there had been any issues at the time of installation. When I said no, they responded that the problem could not be their fault since it was working when the technician left. Based on that logic, their warranty seems to last about 24 hours. Although it has been a year, this type of installation should last many years without problems. Their response suggests they do not stand behind the quality of their work at all. To further verify the issue, I had two separate electrical companies inspect the installation. Both technicians independently came to the same conclusion and were shocked by how poorly the job had been done. They found that the lowest-grade outlet, breaker, and wiring had been used--even though the installation was clearly intended for EV charging. This kind of setup creates a serious risk of overheating, fire, and electrical hazards for my home, my car, and my family. Stay clear of this company--there are plenty of legitimate, professional electrical companies in Las Vegas.

They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. Michael sent a photo after the work was completed and also made it easy to handle payment remotely. Most importantly,I felt confident that they were taking great care of our tenants in our absence. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, service and integrity and I recommend them with complete confidence.

the Nevada desert Graboids (think Tremors movie) must have struck my under-the-house-foundation…read morewater pipes for the second time. first time some years ago it was jack-hammer, partial line fix and a total mess. this year SNWA with their wifi modules notify home owners they have a leak. good thing because a leak wasn't visible this time, unlike the first one. decision time was either fix one line part way up to first manifold or re plumb the house. small house, nevertheless, costly. after the great plumbers completed their works i needed to get the drywall areas patched and painted. got three estimates. 702 P&D came in about middle. one was too low and one was too high for my wallet. and 702 P&D had a good contract along with exactly what to expect. the low bidder did't have any of that. nothing wrong with that, but for me and my home i needed some binding paperwork and written expectations. as many others have mentioned, Julio was point man. for me, couldn't have been a better experience, from the first time he showed up until the job completion. His craftsman-gentleman, Mr Ernesto, did an excellent drywall job and all that goes along with that. showed up on time, verbalized what he was going to do each day, when he was off to lunch and a return time. Great for me as i could time my service dog's business times around his schedule. honestly, unless one knew or is an expert with drywall, it is fairly difficult to tell where the cutouts from the plumbers are. and Ernesto sprayed texture on the drywall to match the walls and he did well with that too. i agree, probably the best.

I bought my house five years ago, it was built in 1989 and therefore I knew I could find defects in the electrical installation. I was right, days later I started to find small details that if well meant no risk was that my house does not like I wanted to. Responded within 2 minutes on a Saturday. The quote was great and the work was even better! I had to install a powerline for a new induction cooktop that I had already ordered. They came out within hours and finished everything. I was worried I wouldn't have the new kitchen ready for Thanksgiving! Saved the day, and even rearranged and relabeled my breaker panel to keep everything logically grouped (The only free spot was at the very top left and my oven breaker was at the bottom right).
