Nice, thick french toast, crispy bacon, oe egg & sausage.
    Monica K.

Good food cooked just as I requested in a "mobster" decor diner; horribly slow, but friendly, service. I'd like to note they fid note that they are short staffed and looking for help... Hopefully this will help to speed up service. I ordered one egg oe, one slice bacon crispy, one sausage and one piece of french toast. Everything was cooked just as ordered and the french toast was perfectly cooked using a nice thick slice of texas toast. The french toast was my favorite part because I had pretty horrible french toast last time I ordered it out (not here). My friend got the philly cheese steak and was disappointed because she was expecting the orange oozey cheese, not an actual slice of real cheese which I think was provolone, but she didn't specify. She also ordered it without the peppers and onions. I would have loved it since it was real cheese... If I go here again I think the philly cheese steak might be my choice... Depending how hungry I am. Her husband got a blt club with onion rings which he enjoyed.

Veggie omelette with cheddar, hash browns and side of hollandaise

Food was hot on delivery from GrubHub, including the added side of hollandaise. Big pieces of red and green peppers in the veggie omelette. They didn't skimp on any of the veg. Specially requested cheddar cheese and there was plenty of that too. Great breakfast and paid attention to my requests. Thanks!

First time ever trying you guys. I had the royal flush and oat meal. My hubby had ham egg and cheese bagel and corn beer hash. The bagel sandwich was okay the egg could be cooked a little bit differently. The corned beef hash was delish. The eggs and the royal flush we're good bacon was cooked awesome your pancakes a little thick but the good your toast I was kind of expecting that to come with jelly it was good anyways overall the first day of trying you guys it wasn't bad. I will try you guys again in the future maybe this time for lunch. oatmeal was delish thank you for not putting the ingredients that came with it, in it.

Be still my beating Best waffle ever.....the scrambled eggs with cheese is so yummy....bacon crispy, perfection.

Denied service because they were having a fundraiser that was a $8.50 spaghetti dinner and said they had nothing else to cook.

There is someone just circling constantly with a pot. This is a cash only establishment, so be advised. There is an ATM. We did go at slightly off peak times, since we weren't working those days, but at those times, the restaurant seems to be a favorite of retired men, which is a good sign for a diner! They have a set menu and a specials board that I think changes daily. There's 2 full pages of breakfast, and at least 2 pages of lunch, plus the board. I'm sure you'll find something you like. I had the same thing both visits - a cheese omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast. It was really cheesy, and I liked that it was a 2 egg omelet rather than 3, for me it was just the right size. We also split a piece of the rotating coffee cake, cinnamon walnut that day, and it was good - not too sweet, plenty of cinnamon. The guy had their 2-2-2 combo and was happy with that choice. For both of us, breakfast ran about $35, for 2 entrees and coffee, plus the cake.

It's perfect for catching a bite right before a show at the Blackfriars theatre, right next door. The food is always hot and fresh. Service is fast and friendly. I was staring at strangers' breakfast sandwiches today so I'll be back soon, I think!

The food was fabulous, the homefries were perfect, and our waitress, Erica, was amazing. The prices were very reasonable too. I definitely recommend this diner, it's walking distance from the hospital and close enough to feel comfortable that you're not too far from your loved one. I ordered the eggs, grits, and steak. The eggs and grits were good, but the steak was disappointing. It lacked seasoning and flavor, so I ended up adding A1 sauce just to make it enjoyable. The staff was wonderful very friendly, attentive, and quick to check on us, which made the experience much better. One area that could use improvement is the restroom, as it wasn't very clean during my visit. I also found the environment to be a little too loud for so early in the morning. I was hoping for a quieter, more relaxing breakfast. Overall, I'd come back if I needed breakfast that early, but if I have other options later in the morning, this probably wouldn't be my first choice. The great service is definitely the highlight here.
