I ordered this chicken tender basket for lunch on a Saturday because I heard they had good food. I'm a barber so I couldn't get to eat it for an hour and a half so by the time I got to it, it had cooled down. But let me just say, even cooled down, this food was incredible. No stale taste at all! The fries were divine, perfectly seasoned! And the tenders were even better than the fries, the perfect crispy crunch outer layer and seasoning, even after sitting there that long. My wife and I tried this place for the first time this Saturday after July 4. It's a little hole in a wall and it doesn't look like much from the outside however it is absolutely a gem. The service is great. They're friendly. The Stromboli was cooked to perfection and stuffed full. We got the deluxe Stromboli and 10 Cajun ranch wings. Going to rate the Stromboli a solid 8.8 out of 10. And the wings 8.2 out of 10. Not only will I come back here again this made it to probably our top 10 local restaurants... The one thing that really irritated me was that I was trying to call ahead to place my order but the number kept going to a voicemail so I drove there and they were open. This business is under new ownership. The owner was very nice, service is quick and the food is much better than the previous owners. I ordered the Gambino Meatball sub with a bag of plain Lays chips. The next day I went back and ordered just a side of fries. Both days the food was made fresh and flavorful as well. I will definitely be back to try out most everything else on their menu. They have sandwiches, wings, and pizza plus many other items. I hadn't planned on leaving them a bad review, but after dealing with the owner...Florida is in the news this week for a record number of COVID cases. We have a mask mandate for Duval. This is the FIRST restaurant I've gone into where the employees just flat out aren't wearing masks at all. When I asked in the store, I was told they weren't a chain and didn't have to wear masks. (One employee behind a plexi some times, the employees preparing food not wearing masks, employees bringing you food not wearing masks either) I posted to their Facebook page "Disappointed to see no masks on any of the employees even though there's a mask mandate." and the owner's response was just flat out awful and felt bullying. I looked at his reviews on FB and all the negative ones he just rips into the people. NOT the way to handle yourself as a business owner, whether you agree with a customer or not. The food was just ok, but I won't support a business that has such a bad attitude. He could have answered with some class. read more

I have tried their sandwiches especially the meatball sub and their Stromboli. Their Stromboli (the meat lovers) is my absolutely favorite thing. It's big enough for 2 possibly 3 people depending on your level of hunger. They are really great and extremely helpful, especially when making substitutions. read more

The lady that answered the phone as I wanted to get a delivery was so rude and seemed annoyed that I was calling. It was such an unprofessional call and when I asked if I can pick up my pizza instead of delivery she said she already charged me a delivery fee. I'm in the neighborhood across the street from the pizza place (5 min drive) but the delivery was 45-1hr....something she should've brought up before charging me. Me and my children love this place but after tonight we will probably never order again. We paid for extra sauce I understand it was a minimum fee but it still is money I paid out of my pocket I called and asked for them to credit what I paid for the sauce back to the original payment method. While I always try to support local pizza places first, this was just not good pizza. I would've been better off with a quality frozen pizza. There is only one choice of crust, and it tasted pre-made. Veggies tasted fresh, but the overall product was not good. I should have known when I ordered over the phone, paid over the phone, and no request was made for a name. When I arrived, she tried to charge me again, even though I told her that I paid over the phone. Find another local mom and pops pizza place. The large sizzle buffalo pizza is very cheesy and has a lot of sauce in it, normally the buffalo pizzas don't have a lot of sauce, just some for decor.
