Have ordered their steak calzone through doordash four times now in a row and my order has been canceled their excuse is they run out of state by 4:00 in the afternoon after waiting 30 minutes and say my order is being prepared that means they're giving my food to somebody in the restaurant and canceling my order out instead of fulfilling the order spoke with the manager and he tried to tell me that they have run out of state cuz it's a popular item by 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon which is a load of crap don't order from them on doordash or Uber because you won't get your order read more

As many times me and my family have driven through 5 points and never had a moment to actually stop and enjoy the restaurants around but I'm glad we finally did. We had Biggie's for lunch and I'm not going to lie when I first walked in and saw the pizza case was kinda empty and items were unavailable on the menu was a bit discouraging but my kids still wanted pizza. So we ordered meat me in the pizza slice, buffalo solder slice, cheese slice and pepperoni slice along with garlic cheese bread with drinks. We did have to wait a bit for the garlic cheese bread but honestly I can say it was worth the wait. It was all so delicious and fresh. Changed my mind set after ever but I took. This I have to say was truly the BIGGEST disappointment I have experienced in a restaurant and I don't know how long. We did a group order for lunch two of us got salads and two got one slice of pizza. First, they took the two slices and put them in one box thankfully no one had a food allergy nor had issues with pork. When you combine two pieces of pizza in a box that have different ingredients for two different people sharing a box can cause cross contamination which can trigger allergies. This was definitely not the right thing to do. Moreover, the pizza was dried out and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lab for an extended period of time. The salads were a joke nothing but core piece of lettuce that was wilted and onions. It was an extreme sorry excuse for a salad and exceptionally overpriced for what you got. Beyond disappointed both of us ended up throwing it away because eating around a lettuce, core and little lettuce was in there wilted was not appealing at all. Typically, I don't like doing reviews like this and I say well I'll give them one more chance however this is one place that will never see me step foot in there again. read more

To all my pizza lovers this place is worth checking out. They sell pizzas per slice or whole. They do have some other apps like wings, chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, but obviously get a pizza. Many flavors for pizza yet no gluten free options. I will like to add that the pizzas are all displayed with a description for each pizza. We chose buffalo and pepperoni. The pepperoni was the winner! The cheese on the pizza was dripping good, cheesy and Thin sliced made to perfection.Buffalo was spicy hot and should have went with side of ranch because that's what was missing for me. This place is very laid back, hiding in the cut of five points jamming to some good reggae tunes. Booths to sit at if you choose to dine in but no outside seating. The service we just experienced was unacceptable. I've been in the service industry since I was 18 so I understand things get busy. But when I call in an order and am told 30 mins for pick up and I show up to get it and then proceed to wait 45 more minutes for an order that was on top of the oven the whole time after were were sitting there waiting for it is terrible. That was the worse on line order experience I have ever had. Used Biggies website to place a DoorDash order. According to DD Biggies never got order on their end. Driver #1, Brian didn't wait around for order left to go get a drink five miles away and ended up not picking up my order. Driver #2 picked it up, must have been ready a while before driver #2 got it since it was delivered cold. I placed this order at 6:15pm and finally had it in my starving hands 8:30pm. I could have walked to and from Biggies four times during that time frame. Completely unacceptable service from both vendors. Dinner totally sucked. read more

I picked up a grandma slice with tomato and basil. All of the pizzas are sitting out at room temperature. I wondered how long they had been sitting out as they really didn't have much business. I figured I'd take my chances and waited for my slice to be warmed up. It was quite tasty. The staff were not friendly but not mean either. They were just there doing their job. This is my second time eating from here as I'm rarely in 5 points anymore. The grandma pizza was better than my previous pizza from here. It was quite tasty. After getting some slices here, they are now on my top pizza list. I like that they had single slices and that they were massive. I ordered the Bianca slice, a classic cheese, a chicken ranch, and a Hawaiian luau slice. I loved each of them. I think my favorite was the chicken ranch and the Bianca. I had to order the zeppoles but was disappointed in all of them being completely raw dough on the inside. I took a couple of bites and had to spit them out. The only reason I'm knocking down a star is the raw dough. The few bites I had from the outside that weren't raw were pretty good. read more

After happy hour at Hoptinger, Biggie's Pizza sounded so amazing! Hubby and I walked over along with some friends. We walked right up to the corner and ordered pizza by the slice. I chose the Meat Me In NYC and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. He went with the Buffalo Soldier and a Pepperoni slice. We grabbed a table and before you know it our slices were delivered. I love their take on a meat lovers with the Meat Me In NYC. The way the beef, ham, bacon and sausage are crumbled extra small was pure perfection. The crust was perfectly crispy, exactly how a NY style slice should be. The chicken bacon ranch was really good, too. They were heavy handed with the ranch which I didn't mind. If that's not your thing, you may want to ask them to go light on it. The bacon was perfectly cooked and crumbled throughout the entire slice. Hubby's pepperoni slice was crispy and delicious. The Buffalo Soldier was very tasty with grilled chicken and plenty of their yummy Buffalo sauce. This Biggie's location is great for grabbing a slice especially after a few drinks! read more

This is my favorite pizza place in Jacksonville. New York style pizza, you can get a 24inch cheese slice for $5 and that's usually enough to fill me up. I've gotten their whole pies before and the slices are slightly smaller but just as delicious. If you're looking for a good New York style pizza place that has pizza by the slice this is a must try spot. Quick little rant for the people who like their pizza with ranch; You do have to pay for the side of ranch, so I was a little disappointed when I never received it. If I have to pay more for a side (which a lot of places do so no big deal) it's frustrating when it is often forgotten. So make sure to double check you have everything if getting it to go! Honestly it was just really average food. The interior was fine nothing outstanding. This place had been hyped up to me for a long time but the price vs quality just dont seem worth it. I know its a very large pizza but $3 to add any regular ingredient is crazy to me. I've passed by Biggie's in 5 Points so many times, but felt tonight was a good time to stop in. The choices even late at night were good and they do have a decent drink selection. I do wish we were served faster and the pesto garlic bread was slightly underwhelming and dense. The atmosphere was very comfortable with the large window open. They could use an upgrade to seating and the back of house was in need of a major clean, but you definitely get to experience an authentic pizza place feel here. As for the pizza, both we tried were tasty and enjoyable, but I'd love to see the price dropped slightly as any adult would need to purchase another slice or an appetizer to feel full. I came across Biggie's Pizza from the Instagram page "Things to do in Jacksonville". I'm originally from New York and have been missing that New York style pizza and flavor. Biggie's popped up as a new and fresh spot in 5 points and I told myself I must try it. I drove over and I must say it exactly like having a slice at my local neighborhood pizzeria back in NYC. The flavor of the pizza was amazing and the crunch to the crust was exactly like NY pizza. For me when I think of NY pizza you think of a not so doughy crust but in fact of a crunchy crust because of the ovens NY pizzerias use back in NYC. I first started off with their Garlic Knots as an appetizer and they were good but in my opinion could have been better. I say that because the garlic knot I believe wasn't a knot as all. They were pieces of doughy bread rolls is the closest comparison I can give you. Once again this is my opinion but if they would have put garlic inside the bread instead of just on the top with the pesto it would have been a complete food orgasm in my mouth. We then ordered the "Meat me in NY pizza! Basically a meat lovers pizza which I believe you can never go wrong with a meat lovers pizza. But every topping on this pizza was made fresh and oven'd to perfection. The bacon was crispy but not overly crispy, the ham wasn't rubbery, the sausage were not the water down version of sausage, and the pepperoni wasn't oily and crisp with every bite. Like I mentioned before the crunchy was of the crust and the back of the pizza was outstanding and I have my own habits when the crust is crunchy I always have that with a side of ranch. (don't yuck my yum, if you haven't tried then live a little) Customer Service could have been a little better in the beginning but the girl at the register was nice and spoke to us more as our dinner went a long. When I say it could have been better, I mean if I arrive at a place to eat and my first words to the person at the counter it's my first time call me old fashion but I expect that person to run down the whole menu for me. But sometimes those things don't happen which is why I couldn't give them a Five star rating, and also the fact that it was only my first time there and I WILL be back. Lastly, I must say the art on the wall and the decor of Biggie's is pretty Awesome. With the brick backgrounds and the graffiti on the walls really make me miss NY and it's art and culture. They have displayed a few signs of Brooklyn Brewery and I smiles because when I lived back in NYC I've definitely visited that Brewery a few times so that made me smile as well. All in all, I will definitely be coming back to Biggie's to try more pizza and hopefully meet the owners of this place and talk about their NY perspective! read more

Got to try this new biggies pizza in 5 points the other night! Me and a friend popped in and liked that this location is bigger with some seating, you order at the counter then they bring it to you! I like they have quite a few pies behind the glass and you just pick what you what and they heat it up. We got 2 slices and shared them to be able to try both, Mary Jane and Hawaiian...loved the Hawaiian I'm a pro pineapple pizza kinda person! Pros: Large slices Good assortment of pies readily available Possibly will be playing Biggie 2 people can eat for under $10!
