Oh boy! This place was great. Delicious pizza. Everything tasted extremely fresh. I love all of the creative names for the pizzas! They also have all local craft brews. So nice to see them supporting other local businesses like that. There is a little noise problem. It's really loud. If that bothers you, I suggest eating on their patio or getting one to go. Oh man....this place....I could eat there every day and be happy. We've loved this place since Day One. We live in the Fort Worth area, but make the trip a few times a month to get some Wise Guys. As soon as you sit down, you're gifted with complimentary garlic knots. They're delicious and there are never any left in the basket. The marinara is fantastic as well. My recommended app is the Tony's Fried Mac and Cheese. Delicious mac and cheese stuffed with pepperoni and bacon and golden fried?? Yes please. I'm not really the type of person to try new things at restaurant. However, the countless pizza options are all so good, that I'm always encouraged to try a new one. My favorites are the Don All Meat, Chicago Joe, Goodfellas Five Cheese, Pizza Bianco, and the Untouchable. I love the cheese they use on their pizzas. You can tell they don't buy the cheap stuff. They're specialty thick crust is by far my favorite pizza crust around. If you're into craft beers, then you have to stop by. They only serve local craft brews on tap and have a local brewery in house every week. There's definitely a beer for every pallet. The staff is great and the owners (Kevin and Larry) are very approachable and make sure that all of your needs are met. This is locally-owned and near my parents's house where I grew up. We tried Wise Guys today for the first time. We loved the garlic "knots" which are really just Pizza doughnut holes. They were great. The Neopolitan crust is not quite something from Napoli, IT; or anywhere near close to my fav pizza at Cane Rosso. It's still good, though. Great local beer selection and prices. Went a while back on a late weekend day for lunch. Decided to go for the fried mac and cheese, and the specialty type pizza. Along with a lot of other reviewers, the garlic bread knots they bring out are really good, the marinara with them is really good also. I ate every one of them in my basket, which wore me down towards the end of the meal. But it was worth it. The fried mac n cheese was good, different, but good, I only had a couple of them dipped in even more marinara, because I wanted to save room for pizza, but I would get them again. I ordered a personal size The Don specialty pizza, all meat. It was good, sauce was rich, and pizza was pretty well covered with toppings. Don't think it's supposed to be a true deep dish pizza maybe (?), but it's about as close to it as you can get. Crust was good, and it was baked good, crunchy but not tough or doughy. Only drawback to the time I went is, they had mostly high school kids working, and the one waiting on me just didn't have the experience I think, kinda slow, not to sure about things, but I didn't count off for it. Took a while for me to get a couple beers, since under 18 can't serve alcohol, someone else would have to notice it and bring it to me. It was still okay, and a manager dropped by once or twice and grabbed me something I needed. It's a nice place, plenty of room inside with a small bar. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I don't think I've ever had worse service somewhere. Most of the staff were not wearing masks. We didn't get our appetizer for 20-25 minutes and didn't get any plates or napkins with it. They weren't even busy so that's not a factor. He just sat the plate down and walked away like he was trying to get away as fast as possible. I kept looking around the restaurant and I didn't see any staff to ask. Our food came out maybe 10-15 minutes later and same instance, the guy sat the plates down and walked away immediately, no words or customer service. Our waitress finally came by and we asked for napkins and she brought us one each. I couldn't tell if they are just bad servers or if we were being racially profiled because my boyfriend is Asian. I'm sure they're just bad servers or at least I hope. The pizza I ordered came with a sauce that wasn't in the description (I am a picky eater) so it wasn't as good to me. We were finally able to try this place out today for lunch and wish we had made it by sooner! Everything was SO GOOD. The atmosphere is very comfortable and fun (best decorations and great patio area), the service was awesome, and I feel certain everything on the menu is a hit. Each table receives complimentary garlic knots which immediately impressed us. We also ordered the Fried Mac and Cheese which you MUST TRY. It comes with the best sauce of your life. We ordered two lunch specials and tried the salad and pesto pasta to start. Both were incredible, but totally unique. Each of us also got a different type of pizza- all were VERY good. The serving sizes were awesome and the value was great for the price! I told my husband that this should be our weekly date spot (and he totally agreed). Dine-in and delivery experiences vary dramatically. Quantity of delivery food is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes the dessert knots will have icing, sometimes not. Sometimes a salad will be served with the dressing (soggy salad by the time it arrives), sometimes it will come on the side. More than half the time, it will arrive very late, and room temp. The pizza you ordered may or may not be the one that arrives at your door. I keep ordering because when it does arrive correct and warm, Wiseguys hits it out of the park. It only took :45 minutes to get the beer I ordered and it was only 9/10ths full and served at the perfect temperature when I clearly asked for a warmer less tasteful version; the salad had way too much lettuce, what am I a vegetarian?; the waitress only remembered only 99.5% of my order, so I'm concerned the management my have over-hired here but Malynn only scared the child at our table once. It is apparent we aren't important enough to deserve the free garlic nuts, that taste sooo good when they hit your lips. The funny guy in the hat who claimed to be "Management" was only interested in making sure the loud Bruins fan was happy. We ordered a few drinks, a thick crust pepperoni pizza and fried cheese. It was one of the best pizza's we had in a while. The amount of sauce was just right and it wasn't heavily greasy. We ordered pizza to go at the restaurant and ordered a beer while we waited. I saw our pizza ready, went up to the front to get it, the girl at the counter told me someone else had to hand it to me. I went back, waited for another 5 minutes, headed back up there to ask another employee if I could have my pizza, and he told me it was sitting there because they needed to add something. I watched the entire time, they didn't add anything, and the same employee brought me my pizza. He basically lied to me. Once I got home, my pizza was cold and burnt. I called the restaurant to complain and ask for a non burnt hot pizza to be delivered to my home. They said they wouldn't deliver because we picked up on site. I was not going back for their mistake. The manager said she couldn't make the decision to deliver and that she had to call the owner. She put me on hold for 10 minutes while she called. She came back on and said she couldn't get a hold of the owner but they would deliver anyway even though they aren't supposed to. It appears as though management is poor if the manager couldn't make that decision herself. We paid $40 for bad pizza and unfortunate customer service. Sadly we will not return. We were excited about the pizza joint, as it is very convenient to our home. If I'm going to pay a ridiculous amount for 2 pizzas, I'd rather go to Taverna Rossa. Usually we get a large that is half what the adults want and half what the kids want. The people here are as nice as can be and they have a great beer selection and will fill your growler.
