She is so sweet and welcoming and made the entire process seem less. Paula was so helpful upon check in and check out. Her bright bubbly personality shines through Shot of Art making her a valuable asset to the team and business. We were then greeted by Ethan who was our instructor he too was amazing and very knowledgeable. Ethan is so easy going and did not fret when I changed my mind a few times on choosing colors to mix and match I guess that's the Libra in me lol sorry Ethan! He also walked us along the process from start to finish and made sure we were happy with our piece of art before leaving. Thank you for your hospitality Ethan and for your care. Paula and Ethan are amazing at what they do and I just wanted to highlight the two of them.

When we arrived, I appreciated that there were designated parking spots for this site! Only…read moredownside was that there was trash scattered around, so it looked a little sketchy at first. To add to this, we needed to be buzzed in so we could enter the premise. Once we were inside, the ambiance changed completely and there were a couple of IG worthy spots to take pictures while checking in. We opted for the spinning art experience since my daughter is too young to partake in the more elaborate ones. Originally, we booked for 4 people but one person got sick so we asked if we could transfer the funds for that person for another experience since there are no refunds. Luckily, was able to contact them the day before and added the bunny paint pour over experience. Ozzie was our guide and he was super kind and gentle with my daughter. We were instructed to pick 5 colors and then we donned our plastic bootie covers, apron and gloves. We entered our designated art room and was blown away by all the colors on the wall. There was even a tire swing which my daughter was all about. The spinning art experience was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing my daughter embrace the paint. I think her favorite part was when she had free rein to paint all over the walls. Overall, we had a great time. Only down side is that it does go by super quick and is quite an expensive experience for one hour. However, we get to have a treasured memento which is ready for pick up about 5 days afterwards and we did have a great time. That being said, #noragrats!

I have now had the pleasure of experiencing two different Six Taste food tours and had the best…read moretime at both! I did the DTLA one for my 30th birthday with friends, and then threw a 60th birthday party with family and both were so much fun. Both guides were wonderful and fit right in with our groups, and the food was fantastic (DTLA was really special and I crave the pasta regularly). I was born and raised in LA and still find this to be so much fun and have discovered new spots each time. Highly recommend if you're from LA or just visiting - such a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening!

The…read moreexperience felt thoughtfully curated and relaxed, and we loved getting to try a variety of local spots in the Arts District all in one afternoon. Our tour guide, Sally, was wonderful. She shared interesting stories about the neighborhood and the restaurants, which made it feel more like exploring the area with a knowledgeable friend rather than a typical tour. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we even met some really nice new friends along the way. Our very first Six Taste tour was actually the Arts District tour back in 2016, so it was special to return ten years later and experience it again. Over the years we've also enjoyed their tours in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Thai Town, Koreatown, and Little Tokyo. Every tour has been a fun way to discover great food and learn more about the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

The class taught us…read morehow to make several Spanish dishes including Spinach and Manchego Croquetas, Pan Con Tomate and Jamon Serrano, Tortilla Espagnola, and Pork Belly with Membrino Glaze. I'll be completely honest. I was not excited about taking this class. I hate cooking food as much as I love eating it. But the wife dragged me out here anyway. So what's my verdict? As my rating indicates, I was completely wrong about this class. It was a fun experience from start to finish. Chef May did a fantastic job walking us through how to prepare each dish before releasing us to our own individual stations, easing my concern that I would screw things up. When we needed any assistance, she was right there to jump in and provide support. I would be amiss if I didn't mention the best part of the class which is eating the food we made. Every dish was delicious. I especially loved the Pan Con Tomate and Jamon Serrano, and Pork Belly with Membrino Glaze. I would definitely recommend taking a class here. If they could make a guy like me who hates cooking enjoy the experience, they must be doing something right. We'll be back very soon for an encore. We're signed up for the Pan Pizza class. Looking forward to it!

It was such a fun and unique way to learn, and I loved how hands-on the whole experience was. The instructors were so knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the class enjoyable.
