I somehow neglected to write a review on this spot and I visited a couple years ago now. For my birthday I just wanted to choose a spot I hadn't yet been to so my gf and I came here and grabbed some food. We split a cheesesteak with fried onions and their house made Wiz and some fresh cut fries. The employees were very nice, and décor was sick! It was all like old school video game and show references from the 80's and 90's. The steak was solid. The meat was fresh and tender, I believe it was sirloin. Some places use sirloin, some use ribeye, whatever...one way or another, it was tasty. The roll stood up to the sandwich well and I enjoyed their house made wiz (I do prefer Cooper Sharp though for sure). I have heard a lot of people say they think the steaks here are salty, I personally didn't experience that and I am pretty sensitive to salt. The house cut fries were great. I love a good fresh cut fry and they were done properly. It's always a gamble ordering them, but this was a win for sure. People like it, don't like it, whatever. I really wanted a cheesesteak and I live in Bethlehem township so there really isn't any good cheesesteak places around. I ordered wiz kids online it was super easy. It said it would be 25 minutes but I left right away because I wanted it to be fairly hot when I got home. My order was ready upon my arrival and I was greeted with a friendly customer service associate. Everything was correct even with a special request of sauce on the side. Wiz kid steak was very good, thoroughly enjoyed it. Steak tasted great, cheese and onions were nice. The bread was mediocre. Garlic parm fries were super greasy, overall good not great. Huge plus on their ambience (the decorations, clothing staff wears, etc) brings a very fun and lighthearted atmosphere. Give this a 4.5/5 overall but definitely recommend their cheesesteak. Can't say the same for the other items as I am interested in trying their shakes, bowl, and quesadilla. Also keep an eye out for the Easton branch opening soon if that's closer for you! read more

The service was excellent! It is a small business so it may have been the owner. I got the regular cheese steak and my son got the jalapeño one with their special cheese wiz sauce and the chopped steak and onion mixture was exactly what I expected it to be! Tasty, very flavorful and the bread was chosen for this type of sub. It held its chew while being slightly toasty and absorbed the juice from the pre sautéed seasoned meat and onions. We were just passing through and gave it a shot based on some yelp reviews and boy am I glad we did. This vas a very pleasant stop on a very long journey. Open gooey cheesy goodness at ever turn here! The building is quite plain, there are self service kiosks but the food is so good! I had a chicken cheesesteaks pierogi bowl ummm yes I said bowl! Two homemade Bayou Boy pierogis topped with chicken cheesesteak or as I love to call it the ooey gooey good stuff and then topped with hot peppers, tomatoes, pickles and onions...are you drooling yet? AMAZING!! 10 OUT OF 10! Found this place by researching online, and wow, am I glad I did. My boyfriend had the regular cheesesteak, and I had the Garlic Parmesan Pierogis for $5.50, fresh cut fries, and Soparno chicken cheesesteak, a large for $12.99. I like enough meat to fill that long roll: the roll matters 50%, should be crusty exterior and soft warmed interior, the meat mixed with cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms, 50% and ultimately topped with good homemade steak sauce. If you are serving a 12" roll, the contents should appropriately fill the bun. Don't over salt, the fries shouldn't taste like salt sticks, overdone and brown! And the $5.99 milkshake was way too thin. Oh, but that homemade WIZ sauce is the gold! I believe in second chances and will order accordingly next visit. The main reason being the food can be extremely salty at times but it is still delicious. Most of the time the garlic fries are too salty where I don't finish them but I keep coming back for more since they are so yummy. Used to live in the area and came back to visit some friends. My buddy suggested this place since I'm always jonesin' for a cheesesteak since the New England area has nothing of the sort. What awaited us at Wiz Kidz was friendly service, a clean place, and a ridiculously tasty sandwich and fries. I recommend the "Wiz Kid" for the classic Philly Cheesesteak flair and definitely don't skip the boardwalk style French fries. I just thought I'd bring up a huge concern and something that might help as far as feedback. We visited today (8/25) and I happened to bring a guest (my girlfriend) for her first ever cheesesteak. I'm not going to lie - I felt embarrassed that this was her first cheesesteak experience. For the record, I've been here at least 3 times and never had any issues. Today, we got $40 of food. We sat and ate while also taking some to go. Your fries are amazing as always but the cheesesteaks literally tasted like someone in the back poured salt into the sauce or meat. I don't mind salt but this was inedible. My girlfriend took 2 bites and threw it away, while I attempted half. I brought home a sandwich for someone who never had it and he about had a heart attack from all the salt. The gentlemen who helped us was polite but when we discussed how salty the sandwiches were, he just blamed it on a new recipe. There was no attempt at trying to fix our concern or make us anything new, so we ended up throwing the rest away. My $40 (plus 5 tip) went majority in the garbage which was disappointing...and I get it, stuff happens. The experience and customer service did not sit well with me. If it is a sauce recipe change, please go back to the old recipe because I felt like they accidentally dumped a container of salt into the food and just used that as an excuse. I don't normally post Yelp reviews but I felt strongly enough about this experience to give others a warning about what to expect realistically. read more

Tried to call for take out/pick up but the phone just rang and rang. Tried multiple times and gave up and ordered through a delivery app. Food is good, cheesesteaks are large. The fry bowl needs more fries! I think it would also be better if they cut and made their own fries. Overall it's good but the lack of fries makes it only a 4 star not 5. Took my family here a few days ago and we will definitely be going back. Ambiance is awesome and so is the food. Wife had the chicken steak bowl over fries and I had the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Ordered Wiz Kid cheesesteaks and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. My family prefers the Philly style and the Wiz was right on point. It's a smaller steak than you would get at the classic Philly places (think 8" roll as opposed to a 10 or 12 inch roll), but it was still a decent portion. The roll was nice and soft yet held up and the meat and cheese, which were very flavorful. We respect that many folks raised in the valley like the "LV style" with sauce and pickles (and honestly - those are good too when I'm in the mood for one), but if you are looking for a good Philly style steak - this is a good place and you won't be disappointed. Now, the Chicken Bacon Ranch took my son and I by surprise. We ordered one as part of the meal deal thinking we would try it and maybe split it for lunch the next day. Nope - we destroyed it. It's certainly not a traditional steak - but it had just the right amount of sauce and the bacon made it the perfect level of salty and delicious. It had great flavor and has now actually made the decision of how to order next time much more difficult. The Pierogies jumped out as "unique" and special. I thought I already experienced every type of pierogie out there - but these were crispy and much more well done than any other, yet still airy and light. They were a nice surprise if you like a crispy fried rogi. Fries were fresh cut with skins and boardwalk style. I usually prefer a crispy fry - but these were soggy, salty, and delicious. My kids destroyed them immediately within moments of taking them out of the bag. My youngest has been asking if we can get get dinner from "that restaurant with the amazing fries" lately. If you like a Philly style steak - this is definitely worth a try. Don't skip the Rogi and Fries - they are better than anything you can make at home. read more
