Texas Roadhouse in Deer Park has become one of our favorite places to go for a fun night out. The…read morepeople who work there provide truly excellent service from start to finish. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care that you're having a great experience. The atmosphere is a blast -- part restaurant, part sports bar, and part country music venue. Between the lively energy, TVs, and upbeat vibe, it's impossible not to have a good time. And the food? Absolutely delicious. The steaks are perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. Whether you're ordering ribs, chicken, or one of their hand-cut steaks, everything arrives hot, fresh, and satisfying. And those biscuits with the cinnamon butter are... wow!! Just wow!! They alone are worth the trip. For about $30-$35 per person, it's an incredible value. The steaks cost a bit more, but they're absolutely worth every penny. Legendary food, legendary service, and a genuinely fun atmosphere keep us coming back again and again.

They told us it would be a 45 min wait to 55 mins which isn't an issue but then we wait an hour and get told we're next. We wait another 20 mins before we're allowed to wait inside because of a new policy where we're not allowed to wait inside the waiting area unless our table is called. Although we were "next" 8 people were still ahead of us. We finally go to be seated after waiting and Hr and 20 mins and get told someone else is at our table we are then left to wait again for a new table to open up while others of the same party size are still being seated before me. The management argued with no apology for giving the table away and went to go seat other party's of the same size. This location is terrible and I will not be returning after the service received.

As someone who has traveled to all 50 states, I couldn't resist checking out Roadtrip Bayshore. The…read moreconcept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

The premise of the…read morerestaurant is that every week they highlight a different U.S. state, creating entrées, appetizers and drinks that showcase the selected state's leading agricultural industries and cuisine the state is known for. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.

If you're looking for a place that checks every box -- great food, lively atmosphere, attentive…read moreservice, and prices that won't leave you wincing at the bill -- Miller's Ale House in Deer Park deserves a permanent spot in your rotation. The Atmosphere Walk through the doors and you're immediately welcomed by the unmistakable energy of a true sports bar done right. With approximately 30 large televisions lining the walls and overhead, there's not a bad seat in the house. Whether it's MLB, NFL, NBA, or NHL, your game is on -- and likely on multiple screens simultaneously. Start Strong The wings here are simply excellent -- crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. But don't sleep on the Zingers, Miller's boneless wings. They somehow manage to deliver all the crunch and succulence of traditional wings in a boneless format that's dangerously easy to keep eating. The loaded nachos are another must-order starter -- generously stacked and ideal for sharing with the table while the pre-game coverage rolls. The Weekly Deals Are Legendary Miller's knows how to reward loyalty. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer a full rack of fall-off-the-bone ribs with your choice of side for just $15.99 -- an almost absurdly good value for the quality you're getting. On Thursdays and Sundays, the prime rib takes center stage: perfectly roasted, tender, and satisfying, also with a choice of side for just $20.99. Plan your week around these deals. Seriously. The Main Menu Delivers Beyond the specials, the menu has impressive range. The burgers are hearty and built with care -- exactly what a sports bar burger should be. For something a little more refined, the pork osso buco is a surprisingly elegant offering that holds its own against any sit-down restaurant. And the salmon -- available grilled, blackened, or broiled -- is a testament to the kitchen's versatility. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared whichever way you order it. Save Room for Treasure Do not -- under any circumstances -- skip dessert. Capt. Jack's Buried Treasure is the kind of dessert that creates memories. It's over-the-top in the best possible way, and the table will go silent the moment it arrives. Consider yourself warned. The Details Matter Great food only goes so far without great service, and Miller's delivers on that front as well. The staff is attentive, friendly, and efficient even during busy game nights. The restaurant is exceptionally clean throughout -- including the restrooms, which, as any frequent diner knows, tells you everything about how an establishment is run. The Verdict Miller's Ale House in Deer Park isn't trying to be something it's not -- it's a sports bar that takes its food seriously, treats its guests well, and respects your wallet. Whether you're coming in for the rib special on a Tuesday, catching a playoff game with friends, or just craving some of the best Zingers around, this place consistently delivers. It earns a strong 4 out of 5 stars and a very enthusiastic recommendation. Go hungry. Stay for the game. Don't forget the Buried Treasure.

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

We decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly young hostess who made us feel welcome. We were seated in Ary's section, and when I asked for his recommendation, he suggested the bison burger with the signature sauce. It was absolutely delicious--flavorful with just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. I also ordered the sweet potato tots with honey mustard. The tots were smaller than expected, but the portion was just right and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. What really stood out was the level of hospitality. The manager stopped by our table to welcome us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which was a nice touch. By the end of the meal, I was extremely satisfied. Not only was the food delicious, but I left feeling great afterward--no stomach issues or bloating, which I appreciated, especially since the restaurant emphasizes organic ingredients.
