I love Chinese food but don't eat it often. Last place I used to go to lost me as a customer when their quality went down and their prices went up. Gave the Wok Inn a try a couple of weeks ago, and they are my new go to place for Chinese Food. Had the General Tso's Chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup. Everything was hot and fresh. Good portions size, and the food tasted great. Went back a few nights ago and tried the Singapore Mei Fun (Angel Hair size Noodles). Had a curry seasoning, some fresh veggies, and chicken. Another hit. Had to get some more General Tso's Chicken with white rice this time. Another thumbs up. I ate in the restaurant both times. It was clean, service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. If you're in the mood for Chinese and you're near BB Blvd and Military, this is the place to go.

Wok inn is my favorite place to get GOOD Chinese food. Their combos are fairly priced and the portions are perfect. I was actually sad when I moved away from Boynton but now that I'm back it's my go to.

Excellent food, carefully packed with condiments and Togo silverware. Most likely to reorder some of the food items in the future.

Wok Inn used to be our favorite takeout place for years! Until this Saturday when we ordered our usual, vegetable Mei Fun for me and Beef and Broccoli for my hubby . How surprised I was to find instead of several brightly colored veggies in midst some yummy seasoned rice noodles a plain looking dish of rice noodles with 4 pieces of broccoli, 2 thin mushroom slices and a bunch of scallions! My hubby was equally disappointed with his extremely chewy beef, which was nothing we experienced in the past. We wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more for the same quality food but this was unacceptable

This is the same as trying to pass this turkey off as Brocolli....it is UNETHICAL to mis-represent foods

FAKE Food. Apparently, it is ok with this restaurant to sell things that are not what you think they are. This restaurant is selling Scallops that are really FAKE CRAB MEAT. I ordered by phone and was pleased that the appetizer was under $6 for 12 scallops, and assumed they would be tiny. I ordered TWO portions of this appetizer. What I received was NOT scallops at all, but FAKE CRAB MEAT breaded and fried. Gross! They tasted strange, so I pulled off the breading and the "scallop" unrolled....like FAKE CRAB MEAT, which it was. THIS IS LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. It is UNETHICAL to mis label and mis categorize food. It is illegal if the "mystery meat/food causes a food allergy which I am not claiming, but one has to wonder if they are lying about one item, they are probably lying about other items on the menu as well. TAKE CARE as if something is misrepresented, you may have allergies to the actual item. Tomorrow I will call the Palm Beach Health department. If a restaurant is mislabeling foods, then what else are they doing? How do you know what on the menu is what they are saying it is? Also, the won ton soup was revolting. It was yellow and had a faint smell of urine. Not-edible. When I called the restaurant about this order, the person who took my call admitted that the Scallops are NOT SCALLOPS and said no one had ever questioned it before. She additionally said the smell and colour of the won ton is intentional because it has ginger in it. (I use ginger and it never smells like urine) I asked for a refund and I was refused. BEWARE of restaurants that lie about the food. Let's hope the Health Dept can sort it out.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

The vegetables sandwich that I ordered had so much oil but fortunately the bread soaked up some of it, so I just discarded the bread. My wife's salad with fish was very good. One of the things that cracked me up here, being a laid back Texas boy, was over hearing all the incessant, noisy, nasal New York Jewish ladies whining, commiserating and ruminating with each other at the other tables. That was entertaining. We arrived early and then watched a steady stream of regulars come in... many greeting the waitstaff with hugs... always a great sign. Simply and tastefully decorated with a playful nautical theme. We'd remembered coming to this restaurant before, but it was in a different, larger and free-standing location. This restaurant is small and in the middle of a strip of stores. There's still ample parking right outside. Inside, the restaurant is cozy with tables and booths quite close to each other. We were there later than their early bird menu allowed, but we did look it over just for future reference. Prices for entrees are the same as on the regular menu, but in addition you also get your choice of soup or salad as well as coffee and dessert. When we arrived, there were several couples enjoying the last of this discounted option. I'd been craving lobster. There was a fra diabolo lobster special on the black board, but I didn't want pasta nor spicy. Asking about the various regular lobster choices, the server told us about the basics on up to a (huge) 5-pounder -- that she suggested we could share. I wasn't hungry enough to warrant the starting price of almost $40 so I passed on getting lobster. They brought out a small loaf of warm bread, complimentary. And took our drink orders right away. Instead of a full meal, we each started with a cup of their soup. I had their clam chowder which was thick and creamy. My husband had their tomato-based fish chowder. I tasted his soup. And his was better. He wasn't hungry after the soup, so he just had a gorgonzola salad. He said the salad -- he added blue cheese dressing (!) --was very good. I tried their soft shell crab appetizer. It was two small crabs sauteed in garlic butter. Even though it was a small portion, it was quite tasty. I was happy that they offered an option other than fried, as well. Service was excellent throughout -- friendly and personable -- even though it was quite busy on a Friday night. My husband enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc with his food; I just got a soda which they refilled. And they were nice enough to let us taste their coconut cake dessert (one of the early bird options). We'd certainly come back again in the future. And I'll be keeping my eye open for when they offer their lobster specials, again.

A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata.
