New place in town, couldn't wait to check it out. My wife and I stopped by to have lunch on a weekend. Plenty of parking lot which is great. The place is brand new so everything works perfectly. We were greeted with a friendly "Hello welcome to Wok it out". The Menu is easy to ready and all the hot foods are perfectly displayed for you to see and make your choice. I picked a two item plate, including orange and teriyaki chicken. The tables, chairs and fountain drink machine very nice and clean. Napkins, straws and chopsticks well stocked. This place is consistent. The food is more like a 3 star place, but they have a few things that make it better. For example they have some great garlic green beans that my wife likes a lot. They also are willing to make things for you fresh and will do it very fast. The staff is very friendly. The orange chicken is just average. I always drive past WinCo and have wondered when Wok It Out would be opening. I recently found out the business had just had its grand opening, and I had to try it out. Being of Asian descent, I had high expectations of this stores food quality. I was not disappointed! When my girlfriend and I first walked in, we were greeted by the kind employee, asking us what we would like to order. She offered samples of every item we wanted to try. After trying a couple samples out, we ended up with an order of Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Coconut Shrimp, and Twice Cooked Pork. We got chow mein, along with fried rice for the sides. Having eaten a lot of Asian themed foods, I have to say that Wok It Out is indeed authentic Chinese cuisine. Chris, the owner, was very kind, and even greeted us while we were eating. His mother rang our order up, and also brought us out a free sample of their wontons, and vegetable egg rolls. Now I'll be honest, I have never ever liked any eggrolls made at any food establishment. But the eggrolls that Chris' mother brought out to us were splendid. They were fried perfectly, with a nice crisp. Definitely try the eggrolls! Overall, it was a good experience. We love Chinese food! It's like a plethora of varieties of battered, deep fried meats covered in delicious sauces. Well, those are our favorite dishes. How excited were we to make it to the soft opening of Wok It Out this afternoon?? So excite. Their sign actually said they were opening soon, but we spotted some customers inside so we took a chance. They're doing a soft opening this weekend, what luck for us!! When you enter, it's very clean and easy to locate the large menu on the wall and then step up to the counter to order. You have all your "typical" dishes: orange chicken, beef & broccoli, egg rolls, chow mein, fried rice. You'll choose which "starch" you want (fried rice, white rice or chow mein), then which of about 15 dishes you want. They offer 1, 2 or 3 items combos. I ordered fried rice only. Usually I get half and half but I don't like chow mein with the big fluffy noodles. I also got orange chicken and egg rolls. They don't have sweet and sour sauce, but the owner hooked me up with some Thai chili sauce which was very similar but with a distinct spice that was tasty! Boyfriend ordered sweet & spicy shrimp, orange chicken and chow mein only. I tried his noodles and as I thought, they were too soft for me. I like the thinner ones. Overall, Wok It Out was a decent price, they serve Pepsi, which is one of my "things" that make me like a restaurant better haha! Their customer service was too notch. I feel they can improve some of the flavors and textures of the dishes and the chow mein (use the thinner noodles!!) and look forward to trying again to see what improvements they've made upon their grand opening this week. Run away.... Fast !! This was my first time ordering anything from wok it out... I called in and inquired about their chow main. It cost 5.95 for the large. Which I know is much more than the 3.70 for a large at Panda Express. But I guessed that the portion would be bigger, so I ordered for take out. I was disappointed that it was the same size as Panda Express and $2.25 more. And it did not taste as good either... I will not be back. Chintzy. I always order a medium coconut shrimp to go no sides. I typically get a nice amount of shrimp and am super happy with the quality. Today, not so much. I got a small to go container less than half full of shrimp. For $10, I figure it should be at least mostly full, as it is usually backed to bursting. I'm happy to say that for Chinese take out, this place really doesn't disappoint. Food has been fresh the few times we have been. I personally love the fried rice. Dining in is great too. The employees are super friendly. They offer quite a bit of a variety of Chinese food. The prices are fair as well. The eatery is pretty small. This is just a strip mall eatery. The food we had was mediocre. It just lacked the flavor you would expect. They give samples of anything you ask, but if you order it and take a few bites you soon realize the food lacks flavor. Was running a few errands around town when I realized I hadn't eaten in a few hours. My wife and I decided to check this place out for a quick bite. Wok it Out is in a brand new building with a pretty modern look (Next time I go I'll take more pics). My first thought when entering WIO was that it had a similar set-up to Panda Express. Similar options (broccoli beef, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken) at WOK it Out, but they might have a little more of a selection to choose from. I've never been much of a PE fan, but honestly, Wok it Out is better. The orange chicken isn't as tasty as PE but WIO has a dish called the twice grilled pork that is awesome. Highly recommend it to my fellow Yelpers. The fried rice was good and the Teriyaki chicken was tasty. My wife also had the mushroom chicken and it was very good. If your in the area and looking for some fast Chinese, definitely stop by and try Wok It Out. read more

Nice restaurant, I consider similar to a Panda Express but a bit better. Their noodles are way better than Pandas chow mien but their Orange Chicken isn't as great. One of my favorite fast foods is quick Chinese food, while I am drawn more towards Maui Pho, I thought to try this place out after seeing it several times while shopping at the nearby WinCo. We took the food home since we were tired from the day of traveling, the food was still hot when we started eating. Here we go......the fried rice seemed mushed, almost as if it was stirred one too many times to keep warm. The flavor was okay, borderline of bland and mediocre. The chow mein was good, the flavor wasn't boasting but I liked it. The vegetables in their mushroom chicken was a let down; bland vegetables and chicken, you can barely taste flavor in their broth. The biggest let down was their orange chicken, like I said it is a staple for Chinese fast food. There was no crispiness to their chicken, it was almost soggy like it was sitting there far too long. I was disappointed thoroughly but I am going to chalk it up to a one time miss for this experience as I always do for a lot of places, I always give second chances. It is just a matter of time to find my way back. My wife and kids like their food, all said they prefer Panda Express though. My first time trying Wok it out. Coconut shrimp is very good, they cook it fresh to order so you have to wait a few extra minutes but it's worth the wait! It has a very nice crunch to it and the coconut flavor is not over powering. I will definitely get it again, not as impressed with the orange chicken it is not crunchy at all and has a very light flavor. Next time I'm going to try the Kung pow chicken. The sitting area is clean, however it only has small tables not set up for party's of 3 or more. read more

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. It's fast (in and out in under 5 minutes), easy (we felt like we had been there 100 times before), and locally owned (always a plus). It's the first Monday open so they still have some reps to get in, the staff was a little slow (to be expected with an all new crew and equipment), but the food was good. We got the kung pow chicken and orange chicken. The kung pow could use some more POW! And the orange chicken was a little safe as well but overall it was enjoyable.
