I will say this is our main Chinese food ordering spot. The food is always hot. Always good. The prices went up but I assume that's everywhere. The workers are always nice and on point. If you order online and ask for food cooked a certain way or white rice instead of fried rice they always seem to get it right. That is a plus for me as well. The parking isn't the greatest but you in and out quick just gotta be careful getting back onto the Main Street. We have been ordering here for a long time now and for a bit I wasn't happy with it but it seems back to normal with tasty hot food and the rice that always comes with the combination dinners is good as well. Their shrimp eggs rolls are very enjoyable and some of my personal faves are the chicken with string beans, the generals chicken., egg foo young, and more with just a few including the orange chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce and the ribs are juicy and good when your craving them ! read more

I've always really liked the food here. The steamed dumplings are some of my favorite and their Singapore mei fun is delicious and huge. BUT if their kid picks up the phone, hang up and call back. They have children taking calls and for the third time now, my order has been magically lost and they have "no record" of my phone call. The well priced and good food doesn't really compensate for this, and unless they learn to manage their business I'll start going elsewhere quickly. read more

My husband just came back from wok and roll with our order. I ordered shrimp, fried rice, wonton soup and he ordered a combination platter. I called the restaurant to inform them that my food was not good . The shrimp fried rice had no flavor the rice taste like minute rice it taste like mush. The lady on the phone argued with me, and told me, if I don't like it, don't come there no more and don't buy her food. We can't please everybody. Yes that's what she said we can't please everybody and I said I am the customer we paid $30 for your food and you mean to tell me you're not apologetic to what service you just gave us she said no if you don't like it Don't Buy from us whatever you do not go to this establishment at all the food was nasty. She told me I had 18 shrimp. I counted eight shrimp in my rice and it taste like shit my husband's combination platter had no flavor too it. 1st time I ordered from them, food was okay, fried rice a lil on the salty side(heavy dousing of the soy sauce maybe)! The vegetable dish I ordered was supposed to have black mushrooms... When I sat down to eat when I got home, no black mushrooms( one of the reasons I ordered the dish) I called and Sally said they were out of the black mushrooms and agreed to remake a smaller portion for me that I can pick up anytime. Today I ordered food by phone on my way home from the mall... I asked Sally if they had the black mushrooms and she said yeah! I brought food with me to eat at work... No black mushrooms... And fried rice had some hard uncooked rice in it! I called Sally back and explained the above to her and she said 1. We don't use black mushrooms anymore, which is not what she told me the first time I ordered... And I told her the dish on the menu says black mushrooms, and again she said we don't use them anymore, and when I mentioned menu, she said the menu isn't updated 2. Bout the rice, she said we sell a lot of rice, not just to you, maybe u just don't like our rice. I told her it wasn't hard the first time we ordered the rice. I told her hubby's rice was hard too. We don't order Chinese food often, in fact its rare. Maybe Wok'n'Roll will change that. Our searching for and experimenting with Chinese restaurants is over. This place is close by and has great Chinese take out, definitely a cut above the usual. Love the General Tso's and crab Rangoon's! I called Green Lake Asian Cuisine but the call was forwarded to this place because Green Lake is closed down. I didn't know this until I went to pick up my order...I called and told the lady I am out front of green lake where I just ordered and she said no this is Wok N Roll now, we are up the road 5 mins. So then I had to drive to magnolia to get my food. It's a rinky dink little take out Chinese place. There are two Mexicans cooking... I ordered Chinese right? Anyway the food SUCKS. They forgot my egg rolls and I didn't bother calling bc they would probably give me something for free and I don't want to eat anymore of their gross Chinese food. I was sooooo annoyed. Heavy on soy sauce and salt and suspicious looking cjicken in both dishes. I'm probably going to wake up looking like a puffer fish in the morning. Yuck!!!!! Total waste of $30 PS. I go back and forth with this place I used to go all the time then stopped for a really long time and recently went back and the food was awesome. I have to say the least two times I ordered it including tonight I was not impressed. The egg rolls last time were terrible just had a weird taste now tonight I opted for wonton soup instead of the egg roll included in the dinner platter and that was awful. Once again a strange texture and the broth was flavorless. I am really disappointed I thought it was gonna be my go to Chinese spot but once again I am gonna have to try another spot. This will be my last time visiting this place for quite awhile. Even my entree which was mixed Chinese vegetables in a brown sauce was lacking. No complaints here. The customer service is great. Very welcoming and honestly, i like the vibe I get when I go in. I don't live too close. In fact I have a Chinese restaurant rite down the block from me on the blk horse pike. Worth the ride to me. I like to try something different every time I go in. I absolutely love this place! I have tried a few things here and have never gotten anything that wasn't great. It is a little hole in the wall take out Chinese restaurant but boy is their food out of this world! This is the first Chinese place that I have been able to get my General Tso's Chicken CONSISTENTLY crunchy like it should be, the Crab Rangoon is absolutely amazing and the Egg Rolls are as good as they get. The boneless spareribs are surprisingly tender and the sweet/spicy flavor is always a treat. The Chicken Lo Mein is delicious and the Pork Fried Rice is the best I have had. Not sure what the big deal is about this place. Ordered the General Tso's chicken at the recommendation of others, as well as the szechuan chicken and some wonton soup. The General Tso's chicken was crunchy alright, but almost every piece was gummy dark meat. My jaws ached from the nonstop chewing. The szechuan chicken was bland, despite my plea for extra spicy. The wonton soup was questionable - the mystery meat dumplings had an even more mysterious taste that I couldnt cleanse from my mouth. People need to use more discretion with the 5 rating... this is just another one of the many chinese restaurants to pop up in the burbs, peddaling mediocre fare. read more

Have eaten here many times and tried many things prior to reviewing. Just not all that great. This last time was the worst. No utensils at all, 2 soy packets, no crispy noodles. My food was pretty much all rice (chicken and mixed veg) there was celery in it ( wasnt there last 2 times!) The sauce was tasteless goop. Partner in food crime also not impressed. Very "meh" food. Good if you are local and want decent chinese. I order steamed pork dumplings and shrimp spring roll, but they are the only good dumplings they have. All the other ones chicken, seafood etc are gross. I'm positive they are the same frozen ones I have bought at Asian supermarkets that taste bad. Some things are hit or miss like with most fast food chinese. Orange chicken is my favorite but I do not like it here, the meat was not good and the sauce not great. General Tso is okay and you can't go wrong with lo mien. General stuff like their apps, soups, low mien, and basic dishes are all good if not better than other places. Good news is they are very cheap and fast. When we want better chinese we go to Oriental Pearl or Royal Mandrin but both are very expensive in comparison, which if you want something cheap, quick and you know whats good its a nice choice. read more

I've almost given up on chinese because the businesses open and close so fast around you here never what you're going to get from one new owner to the next. I only got 2 egg rolls and a quart of wonton soup but both were very good and sizable. What will make me return is how the clean the place is, the kitchen (line) is in complete view of the lobby and they keep it spotless, just look at the vents over grill. read more

This place is just around the corner from my home. I prefer another Chinese takeout place in the area, but when I want food quicker and easier, Wok 'N Roll is my go to place as it's less than a mile away. The service is good. The delivery is quick. The food is good. I have had the General Tso's a couple times - once it was really tough, the rest of the times standard.
