Solid teriyaki that I almost past up on based off the reviews. The one thing I will try next time is eating it sooner or inside the restaurant. The teriyaki sauce thickened and the tips of the chicken were a bit hard. The noodles were good (3 star), not soggy or overly sauced. A bit bland but a little hot sauce to enhance the flavor. The green beans with garlic were a 5 and highly recommend. The hostess recommended that we order as a side dish since it is the same amount of beans but minus the rice serving. The teriyaki chicken flavors were great, the sauces were not salty and not need for a glass of water. This is one of the better teriyaki places in GH. Recommend that you try it out and ignore the negative reviews. The prices were on point, paid just over $50 for the 3 dishes that served 4-5ppl. read more

I ordered a spicy honey chicken and a chicken teriyaki combo. The teriyaki was not bad but the spicy honey chicken was almost edible. First of all, I am sensitive to spice so I don't like a lot of spice and this literally tasted like it had zero spice. And then the chicken was so chewy that it literally tasted like jerky. The food was mediocre, at best. The soup included is based on chicken stock and even my non-vegetarian wife didn't eat more than a taste before deciding to pass on the soup. She also didn't eat most of her chicken. My vegetarian dish was bland. We both wondered how this tasted so highly. read more

I ordered three meals totaling $77.59. I gave a five dollar tip even though I usually don't do that when I order to go and take home to eat. Two of the orders were fine. I ordered two of the teriyaki chicken and cashew chicken meals. I read a text to her that my friend wanted the shrimp and vegetable tempura. She asked me if I wanted the appetizer of those or the meal I chose meal. So I paid for the meals and waited for themto be completed. She boxed it up, bagged them in two bags and I left. We didn't eat them right away when I got back to my daughter's house. We were taking care of the kids first. When we open the boxes, my daughters and my order was correct the teriyaki chicken and cashew chicken. I opened another box and found teriyaki chicken with Katsu chicken. Something that I never even said I wanted the other one had the tempura vegetables in it. So my friend didn't get what she wanted. She got a whole other order that she couldn't eat. I called the restaurant and talked to the woman that took the order at the front counter. I told her the issue she asked if I wanted the shrimp and I said yes I did ask if I needed to pay for it and I thought she said I wouldn't but I guess with the language barrier I misunderstood that but I guess I thought it was not my error it was The restaurants. I wanted my friend to have at her tempura shrimp that she wanted. So I headed back to the restaurant to get the shrimp. She wanted me to pay for it. I told her I had to pay for a mistake that was not mine. She told me that she went over the order and that's what I ordered. I told her I did not want another teriyaki chicken and chicken Katsu that is not what I ordered. She finally grabbed her purse and said then I will pay for it then. It ended with me walking out with the shrimp because I did not feel it was my error and I wasn't about to spend another $9 for the shrimp. I do not understand why it got so messed up. I feel like she gave me somebody else's food because the teriyaki chicken was never mentioned with the tempura meal, there is not even a tempura meal with teriyaki chicken, but yet it was in with the Katsu , but she seemed to blame the whole thing on me that I ordered the wrong item, but I pointed at it on the menu to her. She never gave me a receipt either which maybe she did on purpose I don't know. I have never had this issue before going there. Next time IF I ever go there again I am looking at my food before I walk out the door. $77.59 is quite a bit to spend for lunch, that was not correct. read more

This is some solid Chinese-American comfort food. They are popular and can get quite busy during lunch and dinner but the food is tasty. My fav is the sweet and sour chicken as well and their gyoza and egg roles. Lunch is a great value, dinner a bit more pricy but you'll have leftovers. If in the area give Tim try. read more

Huge portions they serve on any entree if you order. My friend took me here because he told me this is one of his favorite chicken teriyaki place around the area. Stopping in here was a good decision. It wasn't busy at the time when we got there. We got seated right away and got our water and menu. It was still during lunch time, they have plenty of lunch specials. We ordered gyoza for our appetizer. I ordered their chicken teriyaki combo with general chicken and my friend got the chicken teriyaki combo with chicken Katsu. The portion was huge. The taste of the food is decent noting to add on. Just some general quick comfort food. Overall, everything was good. Will come back again if I'm around the area and if I'm craving for some chicken teriyaki. Awful customer service ! Rude aarrogant server ( possibly owner) ? Negligent and indiffernt to - boot. Walked over from Costco - (to wait for tires,) Had minimal expectations hoping to enjoy a simple meal and my 6 yr old's fav asian soup. After patiently waiting 15 mins simply to be seated/ acknowledged with a tired kid then blown off again- I politely asked if we could be seated. Was given the "Medusa" look-for asking despite several tables open. Then handed 2 sticky slimy plastic menus - coupled with her pointing in some vague area - We walk to the designated finger zone spot -- a sticky shitty little wobbly table covered in lord knows what - greeted by the aroma of bleach and urinal disc essence - mmm....my favorite chemical smell. After waiting another 35 mins in that miserable hallway -with the lingering - essence of the lovely "toxic pot pouri" smell -we were finally seen- by "Ms. Personality" to place our pesky orders -who in kind made us feel like she was doing us a an annoying favor by her demeanor. We strategically decided only order 2 large basic soups to keep it simple and leave in a timely manner -as we could tell the service to others was an awful slow shit show plus my kid was ravenous. How hard or long could 2 egg drop soups take was the logic. 45 mins later still no egg flour soups ? WTF? I tried long enough to show my kid patience -and humility . Not as if we requested a handmade lasagna w a rack of lamb! At that point my 6 year old daughter and I walked out- As did many other tables. We were given scournful looks from her - on the way out - kept- my comments to myself for my daughter's sake. This visit probably upset me more than it normally may have as my kid was starving yet keeping her composure and just wanted a simple damn egg flower soup to warm up. In summary I found this place to have -horrible energy - bad attitudes and long waits for what appeared from my view to be marginal yet over priced Asian "style" food. Seemed the staff dislikes their job as well or They're burned out. Maybe they should think about working at Costco instead? We come here often, because we are regulars they make a fuss of our kids which makes it extra pleasant. I think if you did a survey of all the Teriyaki restaurants in the region you would find that they all have similar items. So it it comes down to different items that separate them from the others, preparation and portion size. I particularly like the Chinese green bean options that seem to be unique to this chain. I think the food has always come out hot and fresh and the portions are huge. I always ask for no teriyaki sauce as I find it too sweet for my tastes, not just here but all teriyaki restaurants, even without the additional sauce I find the meat to be nicely seasoned. read more

Just a small place run by a family, stopped by for a dinner after a long day. Everything was perfect, out server was cordial and fast. The food was delicious and we got right in before the dinner rush (clearly a good sign when people start lining up). I cried over how delicious the food was. Backstory... My 71 year old mother comes here frequently to pickup to go and after realizing that they overcharged her this one time for $4.15 she got a refund. Should've been no big deal, right? To them it apparently was and so much so that they wrote her name and put it on their wall like she was a repeat offender of something nefarious. I walked in with her to pickup the to go she had ordered, the lady recognized her name off the wall and started demanding that my mom pay them the $4.15. She told her that the guy (who she mentioned by name) had already sorted this out with her weeks ago. But the lady kept insisting that my mom owed them money and this was happening with a line of customers behind us. My mom ended up opening her wallet and threw $5 on the counter to shut this lady up and prove a point that she's no thief. The same guy who processed the refund was in the back but never came to her defense when all of this was going down. I cannot believe these people, that they would be petty enough to embarrass an elderly lady who's been a regular customer of theirs for years. Like was it really worth it over $4.15? She won't be back and after reading the reviews of shady practices it sounds like people need to be on high alert if they come to this place. read more

Solid 3-3.5 stars This is our go-to teriyaki place in town. It's a bit sweet for me, but fam loves it. Best fried rice we've tried (from about 4-5 places here). Some of the stir fry's taste the same, so there's room for improvement there. Their garlic green beans are super good though. read more

Ordered the family meal that was quite a deal! Also added the wonton soup. Good portions. Gyōza wasn't that good, so I'd go for the egg rolls next time. Mongolian beef was NOT good...we didn't even eat it. Just bland and just not really Mongolian beef.... Now, what was phenomenal: *Egg flower soup - was never a fan, but this was yum! *Fried rice - Oooo, had the nommy "wok hei" *Teriyaki chicken - wasn't the most tender I've had, but was tasty, even cold from the fridge the next day! *Orange chicken - had just the right amount of crunchy and not too dry or too sweet. *Wonton soup - the wontons were delicious and the broth was decent Will order from again, but probably won't do the family meal since they don't allow you to substitute. read more

I would give these guys a very solid 3.5, but am rounding up cause why not. They're usually very busy, and borderline understaffed. I think the best thing to do is call your order in, as they are pretty light on waitstaff. We've been pleased with the food eachtime. We ordered take out yesterday and it was fresh, delicious and the portions were large. I phoned in the order so I only had a 10 minute wait. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because a woman waiting ,for her take out order, wasn't wearing a mask despite a large sign on the door reading: Masks are required. This restaurant is very small and the waiting area is tiny. People eating weren't wearing masks but they were spaced far apart and there were only two of them. I felt unsafe and because of this I won't return. I regret this because the food is tasty and reasonably priced. I am fully vaccinated, including my flu shot, to not only protect myself, my family but also others. Long time customer but not sure I'll come back if you continue serving STEEL WOOL pieces with your food! I almost ate it. I've read nightmare stories of people not realizing the piece and it getting lodged in their throat like a sliver and needing to be surgically removed! when I told the lady and showed her she said sorry and walked away. When she noticed our reactions she came back and offered to make the dish again and we said no thank you. Then she went in the back, and I assume told them what happened, then returned and offered again to remake our order. We politely said no again. Can't believe this place hasn't been shut down by health department. The workers are filthy and you can see them and hear them talking on cell phones while handling food prep. Watch them walking in and out of kitchen with no hand washing. Stand long enough at cash register and be a little observant and you will know this is great place if you want a trip to emergency room. Pretty sure not one person in the back had personally taken food handlers as you can tell they have no idea about proper food prep and handling. It's peculiar that there is no rating on this restaurant from health department. Maybe owner takes down. Seriously don't take a chance here just because people say there's large portions. My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. The food is so good, the service is super quick, and the people are always so nice. I once had just gotten off work and even though it was probably 20 minutes before they closed, they still allowed me to order and get food. Great food, great service, and overall just a great place. Hands down one of my favorite places for Teriyaki. I've worked in teriyaki restaurants before so I can say this place literally doesn't make it (or grill it) until you order it. Everything is always super juicy and piping hot. The teriyaki glaze is amazing with the right amount of sweet & savory. I probably would drown my whole plate in it if I could. Kay somehow manages to attend all the tables, front counter, and phones with such ease and grace. Just keep in mind to order takeout in advance during the rush times since everything is fresh.
