The ambiance also wasn't enjoyable. The restaurant felt very dark and cramped, and the way the tables were arranged made the space feel crowded and uncomfortable rather than inviting. What's even more disappointing is how this business appears to respond to criticism. Looking through other negative reviews, there seems to be a recurring pattern of dismissing reviewers' experiences as false or claiming they were never customers rather than considering that someone may have genuinely had a negative experience. Their response to my review only reinforced the customer service issue I was describing. Instead of asking what happened or attempting to understand the situation, they immediately accused me of being untruthful. How a business responds to criticism says a lot about its approach to customer service. Unfortunately, between the service we received, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and the dismissive response afterward, I would not recommend Nari Sushi & Steak.

Very judgmental (I'm assuming because of my gym clothes having just left the gym), I even text my boyfriend when I first walked in because I felt unwelcome from the moment I walked in, and when I asked to add steak to my lunch special and told her the extra cost was no problem. Told me I had to sit by the door (there wasn't a soul in the building other than the staff and myself). I was polite the whole time, even complimented the food. Paid and tipped 20% (because I work in hospitality) and she then asked me several times if I was someone who called last week and apparently never showed up. I told her I was not and she kept saying "oh, really? It's not you?!" Even though I explained I wasn't. Based on the lack of hospitality alone, I will not be returning. And that's very unfortunate because I just moved nearby. Incorrect on all of your response. And next time you use a.i. to reply to a guest, make sure you tweak it to not sound so fake. When I walked in you were rude and cold and looked me up and down. When I ordered the steak addition, you said it would cost extra, I said I still wanted it, you said again it would be another $17 I said I didn't care. It should have died there. When I went to pay to leave you asked if I went by an abbreviation of my name, I said yes, you said you had a non pickup under the same abbreviated name. And when I said it wasn't me you kept asking if I was sure as if I don't know whether I ordered food or not. Next time you call someone's review fake, don't use a fake computer program to respond, and do it yourself.

I am a Grubhub delivery driver and i was being very nice to the staff that was working there earlier today. Except the staff member, the guy running the cash register, was extremely rude and disrespectful to me when i told him that i was here to pick up a Grubhub order. So he immediately tells me before i csn finish my sentence that theres no Grubhub order that came in snd then i asked him if I could place it because Grubhub sometimes wants us to place and pay for orders for customers, but he kept barking at me and being extremely rude and making insults at me and insulting Grubhub drivers in general, but I still remained calm and respectful until he agreed to look at the order on my phone to see what was on the order and he asked if I would like to place the order and I politely said yes but as soon as I started ordering, the man said. Dont have it Very abruptly and he asked me a question about what the order needed, so i told him i wasnt sure it doesn't say on my phone and then he starts laughing at me and saying that we drivers dont know what we're doing and making other insults towards me so i said screw it, im not going to be able to do this order if its not available and as im walking toward the door. Dickhead continues running his mouth at me as im leaving and then i finally said for him to fuck off, and then he starts screaming and cussing at me so loud that practically the whole parking lot would hear and then the woman who i think was his wife followed me out to my car into the parking lot talking trash to me while her asshole husband was still cussing at me and making threats! I still tried to be polite but she wouldnt let me leave and i told her that he was the one that was rude to me the minute i walked in. She was obviously oblivious to the service i had! So I reported them to Grubhub and im reporting them on YELP. I will never set foot in that place again!!! on a scale of 1 to 7 on customer service 1 being low, 7 being high the customer service is a big fat -74 for shitty service and disrespectful behavior. I know that saying fuck off wasnt the best decision on my part but I tried to be respectful but I wasn't going to let him disrespect me like that. I hope the asshole and his wife that i was still being polite to even though she was not letting me leave in my car. I understand that they may be struggling or something, but the mans complete and utter disrespectful attitude was uncalled for. Grubhub drivers on yelp watch out for this place. The food is beyond good seriously some of the best teriyaki I've had in some years , Everything looked stunning when they handed it over (the presentation is on point! and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
