It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Only had to wait 5 mins. Don't let the full restaurant fool you. The wait staff checks in often and moves tables very fast. Pro tip- you can hang outside and check out the koi fish in the pond to kill some time Sat down and drinks came out fast ordered dim sum which came out in the cute steam baskets first. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. It was very bland. Next time I want to order the orange peel chicken instead. Looked good and now we know! So much food we'll have leftovers for a few days. Score!

We wanted fish and ordered both the ginger steamed and the garlic black bean. Neither had much taste and what did taste was like I cooked it, which is no compliment Rice is so important to me and they have the cheap grain that's hard and doesn't stay hot We had both the white and brown Service is good Flies are everywhere The whole place esp restrooms need a rehaul. Seating is not comfortable with the hard chairs and the booths that have tears on them and are bumpy. Even the parking lot needs help

Happy to say this place offers halal meat options, which makes it one of the very very few Chinese…read morerestaurants in town where people who eat halal can go to! Just make sure to talk to them beforehand and they have a separate area in the back to avoid cross contamination! I've always enjoyed the food here, and the flavors have treated my palette pretty well! I like my food spicy so either request it when ordering or add hot oil and spices after it comes out lol. If you dine in they have tables with lazy susans -revolving food stands - for your convenience! Personally love them and feel like it's a nice touch to the restaurant. This place is definitely affordable and comes with a lot! They have specials and deals which include so much for one low price. Kind of confused why people are giving low stars, so my best recommendation is to go visit them in-house for the best experience!

We were looking forward to having the Peking Duck 3 ways and was hoping it was as good as before. The 3 ways includes (1) primarily the skin with some meat into the bun with hoisin sauce and scallions, (2) soup with some duck meat, and (3) stir fried duck. Everything was very flavorful. Unfortunately, the hoisin sauce was a bit salty rather than sweet. We ordered the Shrimp with Walnuts, which was good. The Congee with Fish was for Dad but I think he enjoyed most of the other food and didn't have room for the congee. It's a very large bowl! My husband tried some and said it was tasty. We took lots of leftovers home. Sue made sure our drinks were constantly full. Please note that the menus handed out at the restaurant doesn't reflect new prices. They need to update their printed menus.

I am not the biggest enthusiast of delivered meals, but this time, I wanted Chinese food, but…read moredidn't want to shower and get dressed again to go out. I used Doordash, which I usually have pretty good luck with, especially when my son orders it through his own account. After waiting more than twenty minutes after the delivery time, I got a text from the dasher telling me to cancel the order. My son had already told me about that scam. You go into the app and get the support folks to cancel it, or it is called "customer initiated" and you lose your refund. Anyway, Doordash had the order redone and delivered with a new driver. Let's get to Sichuan Garden. I ordered from here because they had some "non- standard" offerings. I lived in Taiwan a while back and upon return to the US never acquired a taste for the supposedly authentic Americanized dishes. I ordered stir fried pork tripe and pork intestines in spicy chili sauce. I got a complimentary side of fried rice with each of them. I also ordered beef lomein for my son and 4 eggrolls. I tasted the lomein, and it was just okay. I have definitely had better. The egg rolls were "delivery soggy" but tasted fantastic. Can't complain there. The trip and intestine dishes were both delicious. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life and be satisfied. The fried rice, though, was awful. I used it the next day to make a much more improved version at home. All in all, I like the food from Sichuan Garden. I am anxious to go there and dine in. There are some other "non-standard" items I want to try.

The General Taos has some spice which is nice but ultimately it taste like it's cooked in old oil and is sickly sweet until the heat kicks in. The wonton soup is very watery and the broth has no texture to it and I didn't see anything in it other than some scallions. And the fried rice is fine...I prefer pork fried rice which wasn't an option from online... I don't know if I would bother giving this place another chance or not. I have been horrendously disappointed by every Chinese food place over here (by the jcc) after growing up in south Florida and New York with great NY Style Chinese...

On the way home, I decided to go ahead and order since I had skipped dinner to get to the function. I texted my son and told him I would add him. He asked where, and, since I was driving, I told him to find somewhere close to the house. He found King's Bowl and went ahead and ordered, since it said on Doordash that they would stop taking orders in ten minutes. Fortunately, I had already told him I was planning on combination lo mein and eggrolls. Anyway, he called to tell me he had ordered from King's Bowl, and I got really excited. Many years ago, on the way home from my knee surgery, my wife went through the drive through and got me an order of combination lo mein. I loved it and always remembered how good it was. Why didn't I ever go back? Too many other options closer to home. Well, let me tell you... This was still the fantastic lo mein I remembered. The meats are really nice. They take the time to velvet their chicken, which a lot of places don't seem to do anymore. Plus, either the beef or the pork was nicely barbecued. The sauce has that little something extra spice-wise that I liked tasting in a lot of food when I lived in Taiwan. I think it is star anise or maybe a five-spice blend. Whatever it is, it gave the sauce on the lo mein subtle boost to awesomeness. In the future, this will be my go to restaurant for Lo Mein. I liked the way they packed everything nicely and securely for delivery. I am new to the Door Dash game, but man I am liking it.

Favorite item was the Alamo huevos rancheros. This was a rare treat to enjoy a dish with brisket, cheese, and salsa without some kind of heartburn afterwards. But this was lighter than expected and tasted amazing! Other dishes we tried: Egg white frittata: very good and a nice touch that it is served in a skillet! Texas waffle: was one of the best waffles either of us has had in a long time Blueberry pancakes: very good. I really enjoyed the stewed blueberry Chilaquiles: this we felt was the only miss. Didn't like that it was prepared with tortilla chips instead of fried tortillas Steak and eggs: ask for extra chimichurri sauce and maybe add some extra salt. Once you do that, this dish is fantastic Avocado toast: this definitely needs smoked salmon or other protein. Otherwise it isn't very substantial. I had it with smoked salmon and it really hit the spot. The service was polite and attentive. We're excited to return for our next visit
