Yes, please. EVERYONE needs a go-to fast food Chinese food spot. This is my favorite in Jackson Heights. Whenever I'm hungry, but don't wanna cook and don't want to go too far, the debate is always Halal vs Chinese food. On the occasions when Chinese food edges out, it's always Woks for me. Woks is good and it's fast. You can call them, you can walk in, it doesn't matter. I usually expect an irritated person to take my order at fast food Chinese (it's part of the experience for me), but not here. They typically super nice, patient, and even go the extra mile. One time I called ahead to order for pick-up, but hung up by accident. They called me back a minute later. I thought that was pretty thoughtful considering they didn't have to call me at all, as busy as they usually are. Probably the best Chinese takeout in Queens. Love the fried chicken wings, made fresh and crispy, so perfect with fried rice. You may develop a craving for it though! It's that good. Another favorite is the Shrimp with Lobster sauce. I recommend the Special Combination, comes with egg roll and extra shrimp. Stacey is awesome, always greets us with a smile. The cashier was very nice to me and my wife along with other customers who were walking in. The vibe was very comfortable and relaxing and I was able to have a very nice conversation with my wife. Used to be better value for the price and better service, so I wonder if it's under new ownership. Went in today for take out and am told certain items are a dollar more, because "everything everywhere is more expensive right now." Also portions in containers looked like they forgot to finish packing... that's how little it was. I understand times are tough and so I try to support local businesses and tip generously, but please don't speak on behalf of other businesses that are NOT charging more and still delivering great quality in grace. Flavor wise the food was decent, except for the fried dumplings; not sure if they were air fried or microwaved but they were super dry and spongy. Also ordered the chicken and broccoli pint - did not know it would not come with rice (as most places do), so came home to find just the entree and no rice. I will say the entree portion itself seemed bigger compared to other places, but you realize it looks that way because of the size of the container they use (not packed). I went home and opened my food I got dumplings general chicken and white rice. The broccoli and white rice were the only things good the chicken did not taste right and it was soggy and the dumping did not taste right they tasted old and dry. read more

This is my first time ordering French fries and fried fish in this place. Yes, food was delicious, as far as delicious, the place kept it clean. This place is just BAD. Absolutely awful. I ordered delivery once, and the whole meal fell out of the box and into the bag it came in. The guy just handed it to me and then got mad when I refused to tip him. He said he fell off his bike because he got cut off and it wasn't his fault. Turns out the same thing happened to my neighbor when he ordered from them. Not cool. The next time, we decided to go in and eat there instead of delivery, because that was clearly a problem area for them (and that's a serious problem for a Chinese take-out place!!). The food was cold when we got it, and we were sitting there waiting for it! When we complained, they refused to change it. Needless to say, we walked out. Never again. Not bad for my first time. The shrimp eggrolls were pretty tasty but the wonton soup wasn't the best I've had. I still need to try a few more dishes before I could give this place a better review. I will say they do have an A from the health department which is a great thing to know when eating there. read more

Customer is not there forte!!!!! I wish the old owner didn't sell the business as they were great. I've now order 5x from the new owner and clearly the owner does not know what customer service is. Telling her on the phone while order please ensure you provide me a lot hot sauce and hot only, she gives me 1 hot sauce packet and 3 soy and duck sauce. This is the fifth time this has happen. In the past I've given her benefit of the doubt thinking they are new and busy but you cannot mess this up 5 times in a row. When you call back tell them of their mistake she states "how many do you want I gave you already " really? You gave me ONE only. This will be my very last time ordering from them!!!!! My boyfriend and I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and Woks is easily one of our favorite food spots. I've lived in nearly every borough and this place tops it all when it comes to American Chinese food. My favorite things to order are the sesame chicken, rib tips, sweet and sour chicken, and the egg rolls. Their egg roles are damn near perfect. But most important, the food quality is consistent. At first this location was great, the food tasted wonderful for a take out location. But then the quality slowly declined. The food tasted saltier and it just doesnt look clean in there. I mean this is just take out so I dont expect any better. But it takes away from eating when the tables are greasy and the place does look a little bit dingy. This is one of the better Chinese food places. I ordered chicken broccoli over pork fried rice and it came with bottle of water. My total was $6 dollars, which is the typical price for Chinese food. The lady I ordered with was super nice and gentle. I ate at the place and real sliver utensils were used and the food came in real plates. I've had a lot of Chinese food in my life. When I was young and still under the care of my mother, she would sometimes feel tired after a long week of being a single working mother and treat herself to a break from the kitchen. Once in a while, probably at least once a month, she would order from the local Chinese Restaurant. My personal favorite as a child was peppered steak, but later in life I move on to other delights such as General Tso's Chicken, or sometimes a taste of Chicken with Broccoli, my brother's favorite. To this day my mom keeps this tradition going, and on those rare occasions I'm visiting home, I get to enjoy this fare: even though she has moved the flavor has stayed the same. The Chinese food industry should be admired for its ability to replicate these signature dishes across the nation, I've had it in New Jersey, Georgia, Wisconsin and yes, here at Wok's in Jackson Heights. If you're looking for something new or even particularly tasty perhaps you should spend a little bit more at one of the many non-Chinese Food Joints or perhaps a real Chinese restaurant. But if you're looking for a taste of tradition, a time capsule of cheap soy sauce and msg, look no further. Woks is your place! read more

We have lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and have tried almost every chinese restaurant around but always come back to Woks. They seriously have the best chinese takeout in the neighborhood. Edna is the nicest lady and will always remember your preferences and special requests after the first time. When we finally decide to move back west we are going to miss woks. read more
