The place is laid back and the food is very good. It takes sometime to come out but it comes out hot and cooked perfectly. The salmon was very good. It had a nice crust on top and was soft when chewing. It tasted very good. The shrimp in a bag was also very good. The sauce it came in was mild bit had goid heat and very flavourful. I appreciated that the shrimp was not overcooked or bitter. It was sweet and fresh. Staff was nice but they could be a little more attentive and check in a little more. The place smells good and the tables are simple. Definitely use the gloves and apron.

I quite enjoyed my meal here. I was craving crab legs and this was one that popped up in Queens. They have a crab and shrimp combo for $55. The crab meat comes out so effortlessly. I got it in the flavor garlic butter with old bay. There were about 2 crab clusters and so many shrimp. I was able to get the shrimp headless but I also with the skin was removed. It was annoying having to peel it off for every piece. In addition to the seafood, it came with a corn piece and some potatoes but I also added garlic noodles. The meal was delicious overall and tasty. I got regular cocktails- a cosmo and passion fruit margarita. The cosmo was a decent size and boozy. In the end, we were offered complimentary shots and decided on tequila. I was very satisfied with my meal and cant wait to come back and use the %10 off discount.

I traditionally have lobster on my birthday but also craved a seafood boil. My family and I stopped in last week to celebrate, we made a reservation but it honestly wasn't needed. We sat quickly and there were still seats available. My mom and I each had frozen daiquiris and boyfriend had a Sapporo. Service was OK but the food really delivered. I had 1 lb snow crab and 1 lb crawfish. My mom and boyfriend had lobsters. They estimated the size to be 1.5 lbs. I had mine mild with seasoning, theirs was mild. I had a lot of crawfish. The food was not overcooked. They shared some of the lobster with me. It was delicious and meaty. The waitresses were super kind and friendly to my toddler. He tries to befriend everyone he meets. The meal and drinks were about $200 with tip!

Ordered takeout here on a Friday night through their website. The staff was very helpful when I called asking if they accepted credit card (they do) when ordering through their website (as the option online was just cash). I was surprised to see how empty the place was for dine-in but that just made my takeout order available faster. Would come back for dine-in, the store was dimly lit with warm reddish orange light and it looked like the perfect ambiance for a nice boil dinner with parties of 4. For takeout experience, the boils were contained in big and clear plastic bags, held securely with the aluminum foil container bases. It was securely packed so that the sauces didn't drip. I ordered the combo of lobster/shrimp with a mild oceanic boil sauce, 1 lb of shrimp with garlic butter, onion rings, and fries. The boil came with corn and potatoes. The onion rings came with a small container of bbq sauce. The fries came with spicy mayo. In comparison of the sauces, the oceanic boil sauce was flavorful compared to the garlic butter. The garlic butter is aromatic but lacked the flavor punches you get from the oceanic boil sauce. Highly recommend the oceanic boil sauce if you're looking for a signature sauce experience.

I come here so often, bring new groups of friends & post about them on social media that 1) I should be sponsored and/or 2) get free meals here. I wanted to order the cajun gumbo last night but after seeing a review of someone saying it was bland, I didn't want to try it anymore. Anyways if you see this owner, feel free to reach out to me with your thoughts!

    Great food

Great food. The shrimp and oysters were excellent and the sauce is on point. Very friendly staff too, great people. Very nice to have this place in Jackson Heights and will definitely be coming back!

Came here without a reservation and got seated after a 45 min wait. Wish that the water wasn't served in a red solo cup for the price we're paying. Food was really good though. We got a combo and an additional 2 pounds of crab legs in their signature sauce. Soooo good, especially when you dip the potatoes in the extra sauce. Also got a side of Mac and cheese & garlic bread. Garlic bread was delicious and paired well with the seafood. Outside of the gloves being too big for our hands, everything was great and fresh. Would come again!

Great way to start the New Year off right .This restaurant is very casual with the seating and they accept Apple Pay and Google pay .They've got a decently priced drink menu (recommended) as well as a lot of delicious appetizers to choose from (like seriously why was the Mac and cheese so good ?!?!) .The service is nice they seat you down give you the paper plate and cup makes sense to have paper and plastic items because that seafood boil sauce will stain as well as gloves and a bib .Me and my partner also had tried the fried calamari as well as just the crab legs combo boil with shrimp that we split (he's not into seafood boils but we share one ) .Just keep in mind the seasoning is a bit salty so next time I'd get the sauce on the side instead of in the boil bag .

The garlic noodles here are SO good - I would order it on its own AND they're good when reheated too. The weekly special was grilled mussels with the seafood boil sauce and it was def worth grabbing for the table. The crab legs are good here, not rubbery! The flavors for the seafood boil aren't that spicy and could use more depth but it's a good spot if you're having a seafood boil craving. They also provide bibs and gloves if you don't want to eat directly with your hands.

Ate here today for dinner after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 398 Q. I had ordered both the lobster roll and 8 pieces of raw oysters that it tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive, quite good, fast and pleasant. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

    Lobster Boil Shrimp Boil

Came here on a Sunday Afternoon, Ambiance is very relaxed and chill, Good atmosphere and decent customer service. I ordered the Lobster and shrimp boil combo. The lobster was okay 7.5/10, however the shrimp was not clean or deveined. Every bite of shrimp had an intestinal lining track. Onion rings were okay, the boiled potatoes were way too big! Damn near cut in half instead of 1/4 size pieces which are easier to cut. Overall this establishment can do way better to become a number.1 contender seafood restaurant in the area.

We ordered... Fried Calamari 1 lb. Shrimp (sauce: Garlic Butter + Lemon Pepper) 1 lb. Shrimp (sauce: Oceanic Boil) French Fries (not pictured) White Rice Great place for seafood!! Food was served hot, fresh and full of flavor. But...get ready for a big mess! We ordered their shrimp, which you can get head on or off. It was very tasty and filling! The calamari was nicely seasoned and also came with Cajun fries. Their fries are also so crunchy. While it can get a bit messy, put on your bib and gloves and dig in

Come on down and meet the staff friendly people I love it food is awesome drinks are spectacular. Vine is awesome we k ow it's cold but the menu will warm you up cheers.

    Is happy hour still available?

Hi Daniel, Yes. Monday through friday

How many orders of 1lb King crab legs would be good for 6 persons?

TBH i didn't find 1lb crab worth the money. I would suggest you to choose shrimp. and 2/3 1lb crab leg would be enough

    Is happy hour currently available?

Hi Natalie, Yes 3-7pm. Monday through friday.

    Are reservations required?

    Nope!

    Is there indoor dinner?

Indoor dining is banned again till further notice due to increasing cases

Is your Salmon with Butter sauce gluten free? I have a gluten allergy.

Hi Niecey, Thank you for reaching us. Our Salmon cook proccessing and spices are glutten free. But…

Are the owners of this restaurant locals of Queens?

    yes

    Is there outdoor dining?

Yes we do starting last night Natalia :)

    What is the best sauce?

    Definitely amazing

I found a strand of hair in my crab cake. Can you please wear hair nets while you are preparing food in the kitchen?

We always wearing hat and gloves and plus masks recently when we were back to open a week ago. But, i’m apologize for what happened. I’ll direct this issue to our kitchen…

Why is the pricing online different from the website/menu? For example, if I order online through yelp, it says $17 for 1 lb of shrimp but the menu says $15 per pound on the website. Which pricing is accurate?

It's 15 for 1 lb as I'm looking at the menu here in the restaurant.

Egg allergy alert: do the garlic noodles have eggs in their ingredients?

Hi Monica, Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, one of the ingredients to make the noodle is…

    Is the shrimp cleaned?

If you're referring to the "vein", or the poop-chute, it's not possible to do so and keep the shell on (and all of that flavor in) at the same time.

Hi, if I called in advance before coming, could my sauce be made with olive oil instead of butter? (Dairy-free alternative)

Hi Abida, all of our sauce always made the time before we open our door to public (process could take up to 3 hours). You can always request olive oil on the side, but taste would be little different.…

    What is your delivery radius?

Hi Lili, i’m sorry for such late reply. Our delivery radius up to 1 mile.

I don't see it listed on their website, what & when are the happy hour deals?

Hi Karen. Our happy hour time is 4-7pm. Monday - friday

Is everything boiled in the same pot (such as the seafood with meats like pork/sausage)?

Hi Abidush, We dont boiled everything in the same pot. Meats mostly we used grill

Does the restaurant have 1 dollar oysters for happy hr?

Ye they do have. 3.30-7pm monday through friday.

Is it possible to order everything out of the shell and the shrimp deveined?

I don't think so. Part of the experience is doing the deshellng. however, I suggest calling them up and asking. They are a friendly staff, and the owner is extremely nice.

I tried the fried calamari appetizer, garlic noodles, garlic bread, Cap't Louis mild sauce with snow crab legs, shrimp, clams, scallops, sausage, and broccoli (steamed or boiled). Each bag already comes with a potato and corn. Scallops were fairly large. Snow crab legs were easy to eat and delicious. Clam shells were large, but not much meat inside. The seasoning was tasty and had a decent spice kick. The more pounds you order, the more sides you get. They have a list of market prices. They don't have alcohol, which seems like a missed opportunity. We would've loved to have a drink. It is nice to have a seafood boil option in that area. They give bibs, gloves, and a disposable dish. I wish the water was served in washable cups for less plastic waste. There is meter parking.

I ate here for the first time with a couple other guys (who have all worked in the restaurant industry) 5 years ago. We ate until we were full, still had leftovers, and enjoyed the creative-yet-familiar cocktails and quirky decor from the mezzanine. Everyone had something nice to say about our experience here, and to this day I still remember reheating my jambalaya the next morning and having a satisfying breakfast. On my most recent visit to the city last month, I brought my girlfriend--and this place still stands up. The staff is attentive and patient, with helpful suggestions and personable service. The drinks are exciting. And most of all, the food is delicious and, in authentic Nola style, is served in generous portions at a fair price. Probably not a Michelin-worthy fine dining experience, but--and I do not throw this term around a lot on this app--I LOVE this restaurant. Catch me back here every time I'm in New York.

It was all of our first time - we all enjoyed the decor and ambiance. Once seated at our table we ordered appetizers, crab dip & pretzel bites, and the muffuletta flatbread - presentation, size, flavor 10/10 delicious. Entrees - blackened Sesame Salmon was just okay and dry. Crispy roasted French chicken, didn't have any flavor - the chicken was just okay, the green beans had bacon in it that tasted overcooked, I almost didn't recognize that it was bacon. There was no cream, fat, or richness to these entrees that I expected to get from a New Orleans styled restaurant. The appetizers were better than the entrees. There was no weight, or layered flavors to the dishes. I almost feel like this was more of the restaurant catering to the audience, instead of staying true to what it was designed for. As the time passed the environment became less alluring and felt more like a chain - the music was some awful top 10 If the restaurant stayed true to the website it could have been the cutest experience to stumble upon. I would only come back if I was in the area and wanted a familiar experience and a drink, I wouldn't do what I did and make an event out of it with friends

(I would say 5 or 6 ppl max) We were a group of 4 and they were very accommodating when I had to call and change the reservation a couple times I really liked the vibes in the restaurant , it was very cozy and i loved the art on their walls. it's a very interesting concept of korean and NOLA-style cuisine. The kimchi jambalaya was good but has a similar flavor profile as kimchi fried rice for me to get it again. The seafood jjajangmyun was a surprise hit. I'm not the biggest fan of glass noodles but they absorbed the sauce so thoroughly. There's no broth to this, and the seafood didn't necessarily complement it so well especially the shrimp which was relatively unseasoned. It's a little overwhelming because there is definitely a lot of seafood to choose from. The fish selection looks fresh but they do have some previously frozen seafood like large prawns and lobster tails. They have the names of everything and the price per pound posted which can be a little intimidating because it's a bit expensive. We ordered a grilled branzino and asked for the large tiger shrimp. The staff behind the counter said it would be the ones without the head but when long at the sign, it said head on tiger shrimp so I was a little confused but we just went with it because we assumed the staff knew what they were talking about. We did also get the head-on large prawns. We asked for everything to be grilled and confirmed that they don't use butter or cheese or cream on anything and then we went upstairs to get a table. Upstairs by the window is nice because you can people watch on a good day. We asked the staff member if there were any butter or cream or cheese in the mezza or rice and she said no, so we proceeded to order those and also asked about the soup of the day. She told us it was a shrimp and corn soup and that sounded good so we ordered that as well. The mezza came and the babaganoush and moussaka were good. The lemon potatos were fine but other places have made it better. The tahini was tahini and nothing special. The soup came and we took a sip and it tasted like cream so we were confused because the staff member didn't mention cream when she was taking about it. We asked about it when another staff member came by to drop off the rice. The original staff member who helped us came back over and we asked her if there was cream in the soup. She told us that yes because it's a chowder and the chowder has dairy and told us that we ordered the soup. I'm not denying that we ordered it. My issue is that we specifically asked about avoiding dairy in other food menu items and she didn't even stop to mention that hey the soup of the day that you want is a shrimp and corn chowder and has dairy. She took it back but I felt like we were inconveniencing her because of her tone. The mains arrived shortly after. The head-on prawns came and then the branzino. The large head-on prawns were overcooked and a little rubbery. The branzino was a touch too lemony but that was probably my fault for squeezing lemon over it. The fish was firm and smooth. There wasn't a lot of flavor on either dish. By this time, our table is pretty full and one of the staff members came by with the tiger shrimp and he more or less just stared at the full table and then plopped the plate down right next to my husband's phone. We barely even had time to move plates around to clean up space for him, but I feel like they should have definitely looked a little harder because one of our plates was just full of bones and shells and could have been taken away which would have made room for the shrimp. They were also over cooked and rubbery. Throughout our meal, no one came to check on us once. At the end of the meal, I used my own hand sanitizing wipes and was a little puzzled that they don't give any to customers. We got the bill and were a little peeved that they charged us $3 to butterfly the branzino. We weren't told about that and we didn't particularly ask for them to butterfly it. There's individual hand wipes by the stairs and it's odd that staff don't bring them to you once you're ready to pay. Are customers expected to walk around with dirty hands to go grab the wipe by the stairs? It's definitely a one time experience and overall, I wouldn't recommend it for the poor service and seafood being overcooked and underwhelming.
