This review is about the service department, not sales. I took my car in to address a recall issue with the airbag. I also happened to need an oil change and one of my headlight bulbs replaced. I get a call a couple of hours later to tell me that the oil change had been completed, but that the issue with my headlight was not just the bulb, that in fact the entire headlamp component needed to be replaced. I was told this would take several hours and cost over $500. For a headlight. I went and bought a $10 bulb myself and--LO AND BEHOLD--the headlamp is fine, no signs of deterioration, new bulb works perfectly. I can't help but feel that the Honda service department was trying to take advantage of me (hey look, a dumb girl!) and that they would have been happy to take my $500 for a $10 job. This is unacceptable and unethical. The weirdest part is that, when they called with the "bad news," the service guy seemed hesitant to tell me any of this, and did not sound at all surprised (nor did he push back) when I told him I did not want them to replace the headlamp. This leads me to suspect that lying to customers about problems with their vehicles is actually some sort of policy from above, and that the service people actually KNOW that what they're doing is wrong. Needless to say, I will not be returning for any "services" at this dealership. read more

Just wow, you would think factory trained mechanics would have a bit more skill and pride in the work they do yet here I am. I had a "simple" transmission fluid change done on my Civic hybrid and they failed to complete this without screwing it up. I do much of my own basic maintenance because sadly you just can't trust other people people to care. The next day I got under the car to change the oil and that when my anger started to build. First there is transmission fluid dripping from more than a few spots under the car. Is it a lazy tech who didn't clean up after himself or a leak? As I try to take off the plastic shroud from under the engine to look and change the oil the screws are so tight one is impossible to get out and 2 others were cross threaded. And that's how Wolfchase Honda does a transmission fluid change. Guess I have to go back tomorrow so they can fix a simple job, pitiful. read more

Went to get new windshield wiper blades put in my car. It took about 45 minutes. I thought it would take less time, but I guess they were busy. I have always had good experiences here and continue coming back after buying a car here 8 years ago. The waiting area has amenities, the bathrooms are clean, and I have always had great experiences with every single customer service advisor that I have dealt with over the years. Tip: If you go in the morning, they have a shuttle that will take you wherever you need to be, work, home, dr. appointment, shopping, etc and then they will pick you up when either you are done or when your car is finished. Also, they give you a coupon to get a free car wash (normally 6 dollars) at either the car wash at their dealership or at the car wash at Wolfchase Nissan which is located next store. read more

I have gotten my car's oil changed here since I got it in 2007. The service guys really know what's going on and offer great service. I brought my car for an oil changed Friday, was told my car make/model had an airbag recall so they ordered the airbag that day and fixed it Monday morning. They gave me a rental car from Nissan (which was also a clean/new car) while it was being fixed. Although not having your car is annoying, they made it a fairly easy process. read more

I have to say that I experienced terrible customer service in my two visits to Wolfchase Honda. The first two employees were rude and very uneducated on the information I was given by a fellow employee, and when I was paired with a salesman by the name of John Lau, who ended up being very rude and uncaring. I took our Honda Element to have the recalled airbags fixed yesterday. There was not a single crack in the windshield when I dropped it off. When I went to pick it up this morning, imagine my frustration when I climbed in and there were four long cracks in the windshield. When I spoke to the service manager, Abdul Jones, argued with me saying they did nothing and that it must have been a rock chip. Then they refused to take responsibility. I drove from there to Jack Morris Auto Glass to see a friend of mine who's worked for Jack Morris for 30+ years replacing windshields. He confirmed my suspicion's. He said there was no way that came from a rock chip and that something heavy either hit it or was it dropped on it! As you can imagine I am completely beside myself that a "reputable Honda dealership" would do this to a customer. I have filed a formal complaint with American Honda. Single women stay away! I bought my 2010 Accord new from them and have never taken it anywhere else for routine services. My battery went south 3 years ago and I bought a new one from them. Good for 8 years. Since then, my battery has gone dead 5 more times. My insurance company contacted me about the number of roadside assistance calls. Each time I've taken the car back, the snickering mechanics have returned it and assured me the battery has been replaced. They also told me the tires have tire rot (true) and that they'd replace my Michelins for $1,200. I got them for $720 at Costco. I will never go back to that dealership again. Mario actually laughed in my face. When I bought the car, the incompetent salesman actually ignored me all day and sucked up to the male friend who was with me. I even had to ride IN THE BACK SEAT while the salesman demoed during the test drive. (I have an Accord.) Avoid this place. read more

I left my key in the trunk and I do not have a spare copy. I called Honda Wolfchase and was informed that the Repairs shop close at 6pm where they can make me a copy. I'm cutting it very tight and didn't think I was able to get a copy but I was at the Repair counter at 550pm and Hunter & another gentleman was able to assist me with no problem! They were absolutely funny and literally gave me a key fob in less than 5 minutes! Not to mention, once I walked in the center, all the reps I passed by greeted me with a grin and asked if I needed assistance. And the gentleman I spoke to that informed me about the repair shop closing at 6pm passed by and knew it was me that called so he was attentive and it's always nice to match a face to someone who assisted you over the phone. And on the way out, again, all the reps greeted me out and it was an overall great experience. read more

Subpar Service Department...Things have certainly changed there in the last year, and not for the better... First, I'll preface this with the fact that I purchased our 2008 Honda Accord at Wolfchase Honda and get regular oil changes free through them. Up until this year, always adequate service...In February, during a tire rotation, they left the lug nuts off. Imagine my surprise when my car isn't driving right and shimmying,etc...I called them, they asked me to bring the car back. Um, no, after much discussion they sent someone out - they thought it was quite funny. My daughter has a 2008 Honda Civic that had recall work done there. During the recall work they broke the motor mounts and refused to repair. They literally lost her car 3 times while it was there to be looked at...once, telling us it had been picked up by my daughter, another telling us it wasn't on the lot (we went row to row until we found it). Lastly, they have charged incredible fees for services that weren't provided - a faulty alarm that was never fixed, incomplete repair work, etc. While I will still get my free oil changes, I will never pay them for any work again. read more

I am very disappointed with Wolfchase Honda. I purchased a new Civic a little over two weeks ago for my grandson. One of the tires began to come apart in the sidewall. My grandson took it to the dealer but they refused to do anything about it saying it was caused by road hazard. The car has less than 200 miles on it and hasn't even used a full tank of gas. They offered nothing much less replace the tire. It has been driven in Bartlett only. If there was a pothole and the damage happened then, it means the tire was no good. My family purchased five vehicles from the dealership over the last few years. We will not be back. read more

The pros are that they have a kid's area, drinks while you wait for service, and every time you get your car serviced they give you a free car wash coupon. The people at the cashier's desk who check you out are always super friendly and give your kids suckers, too. Other than that? I wish I would have gone to Wolfchase Toyota. I hate servicing my car here because they pressure you to get unnecessary work done every time. The service guys are almost always rushing you and very rude (especially when you ask questions), and they snuck in some insane document fees on my car purchase. I see there's another guy here that got stuck with them as well. All I can say is, pay super close attention if you buy a car there and don't let the finance manager rush you through signing papers without reading every word like he did me. They absolutely changed things in the digital papers after we'd agreed to a price on paper. I will not buy another car from them. read more

We took our vehicle in for repairs that are dealership-specific [map lights not working, sliding side-panel door, etc.] We also bought four new tires and had a 150,000-mile "check-up"-oil change, engine hose flushed, etc. Initially, we were told it would be ready the next day [no problem, we knew it would take a while for all of the work and were prepared to leave it over night]. However, it was not ready the next day [a part had not come in.] We did not find that out until we drove out there, [why we were not notified earlier, I do not know.] As we were checking on the repairs, one of the main issues was not fixed and there was no repairman working late to check it for us. So, we had to go out the next day-a third time-before it was finally ready. Communication is a definite problem here. We understand about parts not coming in. We do not understand not calling or emailing informing the customer about it. While this was annoying, the most irritating part about all of this is that when you walk into the service area, no one acknowledges you. Six or seven people, none of them visibly busy and no one looks to say anything. [We're talking minutes and minutes of just standing there.] Someone should at least look up and say, "I'll be with you in just a moment." That does not happen here. When we walked in the dealership, no one spoke. Workers were there but they didn't speak. It's a simple and courteous thing to do. Just all around disappointed with this company; if it'd been a great experience, we'd consider taking our vehicle back there for future services. I will come only if necessary, but don't have expectations that the service department will be extremely helpful. Compared to other dealerships, (in other states), the service advisors here seem to be a little bit more curt and are unwilling to take the time to be problem solvers. If your vehicle is having an issue, but it isn't clearly marked by an on board diagnostic light or isn't obviously already broken, they will not bother asking a technician to look into it. read more

I am amazed at the poor service I received after I purchased a new car. I asked for my tags to be mailed to me. I was told no. When I went to pick them up, they paged my sales person to the desk. he did not show up. I asked if someone would put my plates on for me, nobody offered. I asked if they has a screwdriver. The attendant at the front desk handed me one. I went and stood in the front lot and put my plate on myself while three sales people stood on the other side of my car and watched me, talked, and looked for prospective buyers. That is not the kind of service I would expect from a car dealer where I just spent over $23,000 on a new vehicle. This raises some serious concerns about what Wolfchase Honda really thinks about their customers. I would think that someone would be willing to do something this simple for a customer. This is a clear indicator of what this dealership thinks of their customers. I've bought 4 new Hondas in my lifetime, and this is--by far--the worst I have been treated at any Honda Dealer. Beware of the "Documentary Service Fee!" I purchased a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 with Navi. I traded in my old Honda Accord and paid no cash in the trade. I told the salesperson what I would pay for their new car and what I would take for my old car. We came to an agreement. As you know, there is a mountain of paperwork to be signed and Wolfchase now has all of this paperwork digitized on a computer tabletop screen. The process is geared to move fast. I'm sorry to say, I didn't notice the $599.99 Documentary Service Fee until I was at home looking over the paperwork. If you research this fee, it is NOT a required fee. This is another method for a dealer to sneak in additional profit without informing the customer. I was never told of this fee, they suckered me, please don't let them sucker you.
