The bagels here are always super soft much fresher than the one downtown and the customer service is top-notch. They are always busy when I walk in, but they are fully staffed and eager to help.. avoid the wonder bagels by Walmart. I'm not sure if they're the same owner, but there is a pretty big difference in attitude between the two. read more

Back to my favorite NJ bagels and never disappoints. Love being here early when bagels are still warm. Staff is that mix of warm and stoic Jersey presence I grew up around. Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese is so good, would highly recommend! They're quite generous with the cream cheese, so you get a nice mouthful with each bite. The bagel itself has a good chew and is not too crumby/bready. Pretty low waittime, seeing as this is a bagel place, and the employees are efficient. After trying two Wonder Bagels locations (that were supposed to be open by weren't) I was able to order at this one. I ordered a TEC on a egg everything bagel, SEC on an everything bagel, salted bagel with olive pimento cream cheese and a poppyseed bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. The bagels were good, slightly soft. The sandwiches were good, Taylor ham, egg and sausage were standard. You get a decent amount of Taylor ham. Instead of the sun dried tomato cream cheese, I received scallion cream cheese but not a big deal since my boyfriend likes scallions. The cream cheeses were tasty. The workers were nice. This place was good but doesn't top my hometown bagel spot. This fulfilled my bagel craving so overall I'm satisfied. read more

It's your standard Wonder Bagels shop that is popping up all over Hudson County. Believe that it's the second one in Bayonne. Located in a strip mall right on Kennedy Blvd. Set back aways off of the main street in town. Returned today after a prior appointment in the same area. For breakfast went for a Jersey tradition. That being a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a onion bagel. Washed it down with their freshly squeezed OJ. Whenever I come to these places will always stock up for the weekend. Grabbed another six mixed with the veggie cream cheese. Those bagels were still warm. They must've come right from the oven. This isn't a new store, was told by the manager that they have been around for a little over one year. Nothing like starting your day with a warm fresh bagel. Always a solid breakfast. Today I went with the NY style on an everything bagel and tried their white fist sandwich also on an everything bagel. They pack the lox more than any bagel shop I've been too. This is my go to place for a lox and cream cheese. The white fish salad is pretty good. It's a little bit salty but it's something I may order again. Love this place. read more

But as of 2020, NOTHING in this foil pan I have in front of me tasted "Fresh". That is false advertising. Are you trying to get people sick and just want Money? Literally, the food that have arrived at my front door was in EXTEME poor quality. The potatoes were sour and undercooked. The eggs had deep stains as if they were rotten. The turkey bacon strips were split in half, they were super skinny. You think it was hot though? No, it was cold. I got my money back. Worst service ever. There were only two people working there this morning at 8am...I ordered five bagels, two with cream cheese....she wrote them all down, and I still came home missing one of the bagels with cream cheese. What's worse, they don't even check what's in the bag and the guy who rang me up just asked what I ordered without checking that it was all there....so I paid for the bagel and cream cheese that I did not get...and then showed up with breakfast with my family on this holiday (Diwali) without my sister's bagel. I don't understand how when it was so empty and slow and the girl WROTE DOWN THE ORDER, how she could have messed it up....ruined out breakfast this morning. Oh, and the bagels were barely toasted and still soft, so I had to toast them in the oven myself...even though I asked for them toasted and it looks like she tried but took them out too early....all the other Wonder bagels we've been too have been great, but will def give this one a miss next time. Andy, the Manager is A+ when it comes being hospitable and caring. The food is the best Wonder Bagels around. We tip generously because we really like Andy and the food. However, it is the two (2) women working up front that lacks customer service. We hear many times the customers commenting that they are rude. We like the food, but this time it was the last straw. We went one day and the food took 45 minutes. I was late for my appointment that day and could not even eat. We do not expect people to rush just for us. We thought it just had to be a mistake and left it at that. However, we went back and the same thing happened. We asked why is the food not ready after a half 30-40 minutes because people who came after us were already served and had left. One of the women said we had called you but you did not respond. We were 2 yards from the cashier. How could we not hear them? They forgot about their customers. The other lady working up front starting laughing at us. We know how hard it is to please so many people in the fast food bagel shop. When they blamed us rudely we said we were not going to be yelled at that way, we stated we did not want the food. One women screamed at us in a threatening way and slammed the food down on the table screaming "what do you mean you are not going to pay for the food?" It could have ended nicely - we understand a place gets busy and it is a hard job. They just yelled at us and blamed us. We were waiting patiently because we had an appointment to go to. We were definitely waiting for someone to call us. Other Wonder Bagels are great - you should try them. Even if the food is great here - it is recked with extremely poor management to have employees degrading the customers. We are sick inside to have been treated very callously. read more
