I want to give Wonder five stars because much of the food is fantastic AND the whole family can order their favorite cuisine (a kid can have Italian, an adult can have Indian etc). For NYC, it's decently priced too. BUT it's been so frustrating hoping they can iron out the kinks when it would be so easy. They've been in Chelsea long enough to have it down. The biggest issues are: 1. Missing food - ordered Indian, checked off the rice, no rice arrives. Repeat. Different restaurants, same problem. 2. Consistency - One week the pasta dish was full, the next week it arrived half full. 3. Temperature - We have never had all meals warm. Never. We live in the same block. We pick it up ourselves as soon as we get the notification. There is no way it was piping hot and became luke warm in five minutes. It seems that some of the meals are made and sit on a counter until the last one is finished. Where are the heat lamps? If you let them know, they will refund it and often comp but that's just not acceptable every week. They are very nice about it, but it is still one of us with a lukewarm meal or a side missing. More times than not. We love the convenience, the quality and variety but the execution has not gotten better after one year. Plan on heating up your food and having a back up snack in case part of your meal isn't there. read more

This is my go to for lunch. Great options, always fast, never had an issue. I can't remember my man's name at register, (he's working at 2pm on Thursday 2/13!) -- but he's always bright and energetic, asks me how I'm doing, etc. That's the kind of all star you want on the team. read more

The presentation and packaging are beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional. However, the food is not right. I've had 6 different meals , pizza too salty and bland, chicken sandwich had an appearance & texture of fake meat. Cole slaw below average. Chicken tenders were good. The only thing "Wonder" about this place after eating here is me wondering how they're still in business. Has NYC really become so starved for convenience that they'll just order anything regardless of the quality? A microwave prepared entree from Trader Joe's around the corner would have been better at a quarter of the price. In fact 'microwave entree' is kind of the vibe of most of the food. While my experience here has usually been pretty average yesterday it was absolutely terrible. It took almost an hour for my order to be ready . They kept telling me it would be ready in 5 minutes . Then someone came out and told me there was an issue with my order . I asked what the issue was because this place always has issues with ingredients they run out of and if they were out of an ingredient like corn I wouldn't care and just take it anyway . But this guy Legit said "the issue is they didn't make the order " what in the actual f ?!? I see people come and go with their orders and I'm still there . Finally they give me my order and I go eat it and there's no chicken it . I go back and tell them moving the food around showing them there's no chicken . He goes in the back and comes out and has the AUDACITY to tell me that "the guy who made it said he put chicken in it " I thought for a second I was being messed with and someone was going to come out and be like - "this is all a joke!" But no one did . I asked him to show me where the chicken was in the bowl because I couldn't see or taste it . Then the girl working at the register chimed in an said "she just wants some chicken can you please just give it to her " I mean thank you ! So then he asks if I want the chicken in the bowl or on the side and I said whatever would make it faster . I couldn't wait to get out of there . I'll give them one credit in that they put a lot of chicken on there at that point but look at what I had to go through . This is the end though and I'm never going back . Recently ordered delivery from Wonder for a five-person working lunch I was hosting at an office nearby. I wanted the food to arrive shortly after we started (which it did) so I ordered for everyone (would be nice if each person could order what they wanted on the slick app and it was batched together for payment and delivery). Decided to go with "Cinco de Mayo" theme and ordered from the Barrio Cafe Brand, the shrimp, beef and pork tacos were very good and fresh. Would have preferred four per order instead of three but that was more for sharing which we did. Tried the new chicken enchilada with mole which was delicious, and Wonder's chicken is very high quality across restaurants. I also added items (spiced tofu salad and burrito from Limesalt, Wonder's inhouse "chipotle like" brand) to accomodate vegetarians. All in costs was less than $20 a head , which for very good food, delivered quickly in NYC is pretty good. Note if you want utensils included with your order you have to specify. I wish Wonder was a little more explicit on that as I keep forgetting. read more
