Cod fish sandwich

For anyone that hasn't tried wonder and is unsure what it is. It is a pickup or delivery food hall, with multiple restaurants (owned by top food network chefs) in one space ( you can pickup and sit in to eat). You can order in store through their kiosks, the app has more deals. I box me if you'd like a discount code :) This location is always pleasant to visit and has quick and accurate service. Has the scallion pancakes from kin house. Nice and apart with lots of flavor! Had the pad Thai from Sri phai, not one of my faves, authentic flavor just wasn't there for me. My kids love the burger melts and fries from burger baby. Juicy and simple for the win. Bobby flays rosemary parm fries with truffle aioli is a hit for me :)

Convenient spot to get prepared food to go in the Chelsea/Flatiron area. The portion of the food is pretty decent! There is a small seating area inside the store if you want to eat inside or wait for your order.

I have had mixed success with the Wonder Food Hall. Sometimes they get the order right, other times they are out early on desired items. All in all a good reasonable priced experience. I had the Bobby Flay strip steak last week delivered at my requested temperature with their signature side mashed potatoes. It was a very flavorful and tender good sized piece of steak and the potatoes were delicious. For the price and quality you cannot do any better on the UES.

First time trying this out. Was a really cool experience and the wave of the future. Tremendous selection and something for everyone. Order by kiosk or by the app. I recommend the app. Interior is a food hall with clean tables airy light well spaced out. Had wings tandoori, and salad w chicken all very flavorful. Well packed order took about 10-15 minutes. They pack it up and call your name and you see it on the led screen as well. So very light on human touch. One big ghost kitchen w good food .

Ordered off of Grubhub from one of the establishments inside of Wonder (Limesalt). It's a Chipotle-esque BYO bowl/burrito spot. I'm familiar with Wonder and its concept but had never had anything from there before. The food was packaged well and delivered in a timely fashion. The branding is cute and the price point was what you'd expect (options around $12-14. I totally understand the appeal of these food hall things when grabbing lunch with a group since it affords you the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of options in one space. With that said, I thought the food was mediocre at best and would have rather had Chipotle, Dos Toros, Summer Salt, or really any other work lunch place. Wouldn't go out of my way to get to a Wonder after having the food.

Tried out Wonder Chelsea today and enjoyed it! Wonder is a digital food hall, where you can order from a bunch of restaurants in one order. I brought a friend who was new to Wonder and the concept was confusing to him at first. So if you're new, I'd say, first, download the Wonder app, and second, ask the staff for any promo codes on your first order. There's tons! Third, flip through the restaurants on the app and choose what you want! Remember, you can order from multiple places in one go. I went for the limited edition BBQ Brisket Bowl and Mexican fries from Limesalt, and my friend tried filet mignon from Bobby Flay. The BBQ Brisket Bowl was pretty good; the meat was tender and I liked the complement of fajita veggies, corn, and cheese. The fries, though! So delish. They were simple with the right texture: crispy but not too crispy, topped with a chile-lime salt that had me licking the box after! My friend's filet mignon was medium rare and tender. Not bad for pre-prepared meat. The sauce is the keeper. It's this peppery sauce with a little sweetness. Best part, it comes in a bottle you can take home ;) Ambiance-wise, the space is small and fairly empty, so don't expect the ambiance of a lively food hall. But, if you're looking for a quiet, low-key space to eat, it's your place! There was no music when we were eating but the music came on later! All things said, the staff are what make this place great. They were so accommodating and welcoming. Shoutout to Sebastian and George for their help! Overall, if you're in the neighborhood and want a quick bite from a reputable restaurant, give it a try!

I ordered from this small but cutely designed food court two days in a row. I was impressed by the Michellin rated restaurants and the ability to purchase a blue apron food box Anyhow since I happened upon this place but wasn't super hungry I ordered chicken fingers from yard bird . They were tasty. I picked a hot chili sauce . It came with pickles. The next day I decided to order from salt lime The cashier let me know I can download the app to receive $5 off The prices at salt lime are more affordable than chipotle . My chicken bowl was tipsy but the outcome wasn't as nice as the picture. I also ordered a brisket sandwich from Tejas. I actually enjoyed the amount of meat as well as the freshness of the bun. lol I am thinking of quitting protein because of this. Anyhow I like the concept and I believe it is a better option than the fast food establishments nearby I highly recommend the app.

This place is really making a leap after opening maybe 12 locations or so In 2023 in the greater NY/NJ area, business seems to be booming in 2024 and almost that number and more are opening on the same speed in 2024. I have been to at least 4 locations already but this is an early favorite. New kind of food hall is the slogan, and I am here for it. From Bobby Flay Steak ( rib-eye steak of 16 ounces for $34 and sides are in the $9 price range each) to Streetbird which offers chicken and waffles that you can purchase to Tejas Barbecue which has classic brisket sandwiches starting at $13. I tried Tejas and was definitely not the biggest fan of that place, they would get a C rating for me even on their best day. Alanza is here as well and they have a pasta option with no meat that is almost a perfect value to order of $8 or so. This one gets my 1000% recommendation to try. Check my picture here from Alanza and go as soon as you can.

RIP Urban Hawker…read more Though if you wanted to recreate that part in movie plots where the protagonist we all thought had veered into untimely demise surprises everyone by miraculously making a comeback--I'm down for that too! Though on a serious note--kinda bummed bc I wanted to make one last visit before they closed July 17, though unfortunately I didn't make it back to town in time :( What a loss of a cultural connection point for the city! Food is a gateway to experiencing and understanding other cultures and this location was front and center in midtown, blocks from Times Square. In a sea of other cuisines, this part of Southeast Asia didn't/doesn't have much representation in general in Manhattan, and even less so now. Scouring articles and comments online I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're able to find a different space in the near future! Was it the best food court? I'll admit this was easily debatable for many reasons. But each stall had their own standouts. Tradsiyon was a later addition though had really solid braised meat and veggie bowls; Hainan Jones stepped into a midtown scene several years ago with no other similar Hainanese chicken spots in midtown (a few other thankfully are around today); Kopifellas brought uniquely Singaporean/Malasian tea and coffee options; I still remember the first bite of Prawnaholic's signature shrimp and rib noodles tasting that savory goodness for the first time; and most of all I will dearly miss this location of Lady Wong, where I rarely walked away empty handed. Thank you for the memories (and think about that movie plot twist I mentioned above)!

I think I grieved more for Urban Hawker closing than when my dad died…read more Urban Hawker wasn't successful in the way you'd expect any food hall to be successful-- their food wasn't spectacular. I rarely went home invoking a strong enthusiastic response to come back to eat something again. Their strong suite was location, space, and variety. What I loved most--besides having a reliable bathroom in Midtown--was what it became for the people around it. It was a place where office workers could decompress after work, grab a beer with coworkers, or catch up with friends they hadn't seen in a while. There was something refreshing about the atmosphere. People seemed relaxed and unguarded, shedding the polished professional persona they'd worn all day. It felt like watching the city exhale for a little while. And another thing I appreciated was their attempt to represent different nationalities under one roof. The more common items performed the worse and that's probably when you come to a space dedicated to hawker style cuisine, you expect to try some of their more novel stuff like Coffee Pork Fried Rice (from a stall that specialized in fried rice) or Noodles in Bechamel. I also frequently enjoyed their only drinks provider for the best Yuen Yang I've ever had. The method for making them seems theatrical at first but when you've had one that wasn't properly aerated, you truly taste the chalky bitter tannins. It was a good thing there was an experience worker there (possibly the owner). Who you got to make your drink was hit or miss because at varying times, my gf would be lucky enough to run into the one guy who could do it with oatmilk (she's lactose intolerant). It's sad to see this place go and there'll be many times ahead of us where we point out that that's where the Urban Hawker used to be.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. This used to be another unused office building atrium until several years ago they reconstructed it to be a semi Scandinavian minimalist design-inspired indoor park space replete with faux trees, glass baubles hanging from a ceiling decorated with narrow wooden panels. Seating in the form of smaller tables for 4-6, communal tables for 8-10, and bar tables areas are spread over a central tiled ground floor. Along the south side of the space, two sets of stairs (and an elevator) going up to street level are sandwiched between wooden risers that can be used for seating as well. Chairs and small coffee tables are available on the second floor overlooking the below too. Getting to the food: - Teranga: West African bowls that are flavorful and delicious, their juice options are great too. Jollof rice, Yassa and Shay chicken, kewelele (sweet plantains), and my favorite Bouye drink. - Miznon: Israeli/Mediterranean food, yummy schnitzel, roasted cauliflower, stuffed pita sandwiches. - Petit Maman: coffee shop with baked pastries and fresh sandwiches. - KazuNori Handroll Bar: sushi handrolls a bit pricier though tasty, fresh seafood. - Pesce Lulu Seafood Kitchen: I haven't eaten at this one personally though their mahi mahi fish tacos, grilled salmon bowl and fisherman's soup are well known here.
