The contract…read moreread a $2,000 food minimum, plus additional costs for the grill & gas, tents for the caterers, hourly charges for 3 service individuals which included 3 additional hours plus the 2 hours for our event, a 13% administrative fee plus applicable taxes. Our original guest list was for 40 adults and 4 children, at a price of $39.95 per person. However, our final head count given to the caterer was 27. Knowing that we had a $2,000 minimum just for food and beverages, and a lower number of attendees than originally expected we made our final menu selection with the planner, who knew we were expecting to have leftovers that could be frozen or would keep in the refrigerator for a period of time. In fact we went over the $2,000 minimum. The food itself was good as were the servers who were paid an additional gratuity. They did package the four sides, a tray of pulled pork and a tray of brisket, a few pieces of cheese, a small bunch of grapes and a handful of crackers from the extra cheese platter, a few veggies from the extra crudité tray, and a few small slices of watermelon, part of the basic BBQ . Not a single hamburger, cheeseburger, veggie burger or hotdog was left. Not a single roll to accompany the leftover meats, the brisket was an additional $10 per person. None of the dips from the crudités platter or any shrimp from the platter of shrimp with its extra pound of shrimp remained. I was informed after the event when I contacted our planner that whatever the company ate was considered what we had paid for and the rest was brought back to be returned to inventory. We found that unacceptable. It was food we had paid for and whatever was not consumed should have remained with us. We were also told that no where in the contract did it say we should expect leftovers. It should be understood that you get what you pay for. I would never use them again, nor would I recommend that anyone else use them.

I was able to run in and out and get what I needed in a smooth and timely matter. It made me think why are all Wegmans not laid out in the same way, space allowing of course. Their shelves were fully stocked, and the staff was there if needed. I also love that the parking lot was dedicated specifically to Wegmans so there was no additional stores making it a complicated situation. Easy to get to right after the highway if you are in route somewhere and not local.

I am here on a trip now and have noticed the location has gone a bit downhill. I can't go into all the details but it's an overall impression based on a few interactions with employees, the way food products are displayed, the breakfast area looking very sloppy with equipment and supplies left around as well as other impressions. I wonder if management has either recently changed or has it just been a slow slippage. Either way, it's a bit disappointing but I will continue to go there out of necessity.

My client is diabetic so ordering and reordering is easy thanks to this. There is a fair range of selections of entrees in the way of protein and vegetable sides. The meal portions are maybe slightly bigger than a lean cuisine so it may not be for everyone as those portions can be a bit meager. I had one of the meals that my client didn't want - pork tenderloin, carrots, and string beans. I heated it in the oven as recommended and the pork was not bad, nor were the beans. They went a bit heavy on the carrots though. This is only one meal of many however and my client overall has a favorable opinion of them, his favorite being the "American glazed meatloaf" Top Chef has come through in a big way for me with delivering about 2 weeks worth of meals for my client that come about three days after ordering it (If it isn't before the weekend). With the rising popularity of heat and eat and fast prep meal kits, like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and more this is great for elderly, disabled or otherwise, perhaps people who have next to no time to cook. with a nice selection, good packaging, quick delivery and even a senior discount I'm very satisfied with Top Chef Meals.

This place seems to be particularly understaffed on Fridays. Overall this place is a good deli. I think they need to be staffed better and iron out the inconsistency issues.

This Wegmans is in a position where I can easily utilize them for work-related functions, and that's exactly what I did. So far, I have had two separate experiences with Meals 2Go. The first one was a few months back when I was in charge of providing breakfast for a work function, and the second one was to provide lunch for a meeting. On both instances, I utilized the online ordering function; it was pretty easy navigating through the prompts and I was able to schedule my pickup time. While online ordering went through pretty seamlessly, I did find that more customizable ordering or arranging a pickup time not offered online requires a phone call. For example, the earliest time I was able to pick up breakfast when ordering online was 10am, but was able to pull it up to 8am after calling. On the day of pickup, I parked in one of the designated spots which contained instructions to text a number. Shortly after, a team member came out with my order. Note that I chose this option, you can also go in to pick up your order or have it delivered. The food itself was great - which I expected as Wegmans food is typically high quality. Overall, I found my experiences so far with Wegmans Meals 2Go to be pretty smooth. They offer a lot of different food options and reasonable prices, which really makes it an ideal choice for catering. They likely have not heard the last of me.

I ended up going in and standing on the pickup line (which I wouldn't have minded doing from the beginning, but I had been told to wait outside for the order to come to me). I give them a pass for that experience since it was Thanksgiving Day and things were very hectic. My main issue is with the quality of the food. I ordered glazed carrots at Thanksgiving that tasted absolutely awful. I also ordered mashed potatoes. In the pictures online, the potatoes look like they come in a tray. What I received were 3 mashed potato "balls." Totally unappetizing. The gravy and apple crumb pie were okay, nothing exciting. I ordered the filet mignon today for Easter. Completely tasteless. Will not be placing any more orders with them. Their items are not cheap. I don't mind paying for quality. However, when the food lacks both quality and quantity, that's a crime.
