I've been storing my items at this unit since 2011. I have moved from a small storage to a bigger storage. At one time I had 2 storage units for almost a year, a 5x10 (without any lights) and a 10x15 (with lights), right next to each other. The entire time I've been doing business with this company I have been very satisfied. They really treat their customers well. I like their customer appreciation days and customer raffles during holidays for dropping off donation items. You can read my previous review for more details regarding their service. I just wanted to make a post about how sad I am at this point because my new house is almost done being built and I had to call in to end my storage with them. It's bittersweet since it is such a nice facility to store all my items for so many years AND my kids love being treated well by the staff. Most of my items are still dust free because I picked only the downstairs units, next to the elevator. I do have to add the air conditioned part has been discontinued downstairs. That part I miss because now it gets pretty hot downstairs during the summer. No where near as hot as upstairs but with heat it can get really stuffy below and in the elevator. So thank you Woodbridge Storage for all the service you provided the last 3 years to me and my family. read more

Okay, management at this storage location is beyond 5 star. You'll think you're checking into the Ritz-Carlton! Kevin was accommodating and friendly beyond expectations. Dave, his right hand man takes care of you like you are family. Prices are very competitive and the units look like new. The entire property is extremely well maintained and clean. It's Saturday I'm stuck helping out my son's mom move her personal things which she didn't pack. Her hired help (relative) showed up late without a truck. After he returned with a truck from uHaul He rushed through and didn't make good use of that space in the truck. He asked me to call the storage center my ex reserved and they were closed. What to do next? Now my 14 year old son is upset because he wanted to help his mom. I found Woodbridge Self Storage on Yelp and spoke to Rose. She was very helpful and understanding of our predicament. She reminded us it was close to closing time if we were to make it in. I drive my car ahead, she showed me a few options, I signed a few docs, and the truck soon arrived. I told my ex's hired help we didn't have much time and we had to hurry. Rose showed him to our unit as they didn't have a map of the facility and we unloaded. He broke a few boxes and threw stuff around (my son and I came back on Sunday to reorganize). I know it was a bit past closing time as Rose was waiting for us at the gate. My son apologized for our delay. I should note, the facility is very clean, in a very secure, secluded area behind Carl's kind of... Loading Times from 7AM-7PM at time of writing this. A bit later than most in the area. After 7 years with this storage unit I am disappointed to write that when I contacted Woodbridge to reduce my unit to a smaller size they would not give me the same offers on a free month that they offered to new customers. I explained that they had not trouble from us. we had paid on time for 7 years and it did not matter. I am no longer considered a good customer therefore i will be leaving this facility for other options. The fact that I stayed for 7 years indicates that the overall experience was good, however, I will not stay with suppliers who do not consider my loyalty as of value to their business. read more

I put it off for so long just dreading what a hassle it would be but the manager Hakseng Norm is so efficient and knowledgeable, the process only took about 15 minutes and I was moving in my things! I had seen Woodbridge Self Storage many times due to its location. So when I needed extra storage, I knew where to go. However, I didn't know what size I needed, or what was actually available within my budget. But Kevin was working when I stopped by. I told him what I had to store, and he spent the next 45 minutes showing me various options. I ended up only needing a 5' 5" storage locker, and not a full size unit. Kevin was very responsive to my requirements and budget, and never once showed me anything larger than I needed or could afford. Very kind said she would help me out with what I was looking for and honor the pricing even though I was only looking to stay a month. When I come in Jessica is gone and Kim helps me out. Informs me its not $0 for the first month. There is a $29.99 fee to start. Plus they pro-rate the month for next month. Meaning your charged more than $29.99 for 30 calendar days. Do not deal with this company - they are dishonest and disorganized people. I signed up for a 12-month lease. They demanded to have my credit card info on file. Beginning from month 2 they started to overcharge me. Before the end of the lease, despite the agreed price in contract, they attempted to increase the rent, ignored my written letter about terms of the contract, and overcharged me even more. When the lease ended, they refused to reimburse me on the spot, and told me that corporate office will issue me a refund. Lies! It took me eight months and four visits to their office to get the check in the mail. During that time they promised multiple times that someone will call me and compensate their debt. Of course, nobody called me, ever. They also refused to provide the direct phone number of their corporate office and direct phone number of the person handling refunds. After eight months, I got my check in the mail, but even then if was $10 less than they owed. Check only, nothing like "we are sorry" letter, no excuses, no compensation for my time and efforts, and $10 less that they had to refund. They also demand to leave the driving license as collateral with them in the office if you borrow the cart to move your stuff. They also spam you with text messages and phone calls, with their 'valuable offers' that noone needs. Do not deal with them, they are dishonest people. They will take your money and lie looking into your eyes. Go to Alton Self Storage (new building, and cheaper, 10 minutes away) or to the new self storage on Barranca across the road from fire station that is been built now. I was recommended here by a family friend and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience. I looked at other storage units nearby and I found this to be the cleanest, easily accessible, good security, and best price in town. They have all size storage units underground and main level. I chose a main level unit as it was still cool even in the summer! We were offered a free use up to 20 miles for their moving truck to move our items into storage. That was so handy and easy! Kevin the manager is amazing! Very personable, informative, and fun. Chris is also very personable and helpful! Both made it a very easy and nice experience. 5 stars all around! read more

I found a special on line and reserved. Less than one hour later, I got a call to say there is a problem with the unit advertised . Apparently, there is a pipe of some sort inside the unit that actually lessens the amount of space that was represented.. It didn't sound good. Essentially, this comes down to false advertising. When this happens, the business should offer something comparable in price and type originally requested. This was not the case here. Consequently, I will take my money elsewhere. update....... The young lady in the office called and offered an additional discount. After looking at the unit in question, the offer was accepted. I appreciate that she took the time to let me know there was an issue with the unit, and that she came back with a solution to what could have been a deal breaker. Great customer service. .Update.... I guess I spoke too soon. I went to the office to follow up. The young lady with whom I had spoken was not there. Apparently, nothing had been told to her replacement. After I explained what had been discussed, this person proceeded to argue with me on virtually every point. In a nutshell, she lead me to believe that the other person didn't know what she was talking about, so the terms upon which I thought had been agreed no longer applied. After getting nowhere, I left without a storage unit. It just so happened that someone from their customer service department called to see if everything was satisfactory right after I left. I told her what happened and that their on line ad was misleading and not truthful. Her response: we'll get the ad corrected so other customers won't be mislead, but, for you, sorry you got caught in the mix! Can you believe that? This response was a deal breaker. They must have realized the error of their ways because I got another phone call from their customer service department reinstating the terms to which I had earlier agreed. By then I had secured a unit at a different company and received a much better deal. This company's service was far superior. Woodbridge Self-Storage definitely does not have it together. I used this storage over the summer when storing my things (I'm a UCI student) and the service was great! The rate was reasonable given the duration I needed the storage and the lot was generally quiet every time I went so there wasn't a lot of people and cars to maneuver around. It's at a good distance from campus and everything was pretty accessible when I needed it. read more

Great storage place. Clean, good security. The guy in the office was not friendly AT ALL. Extremely rude. We were not made aware of the limits on the "FREE" truck. This place is never open. they only have a 1 person staff that will lock the doors to show the property, so you have to wait 20-30. on top of that when that person goes to lunch you have to wait another hour. You have to wait to use the hand truck to help you move your boxes. IF they are talking to someone you have to wait sometimes 20-30 minutes.They say they close at 6 and the Kimberly will shut her computer down at 5 so she can't give you a receipt. i say stay far from this place! the hour s are terrible on top of having just one person working. no customer service. oh and beware they raise the rent every 6 months! public storage has better hours and the staff is there while the storage is open. if i could i would not give them 1 star! read more

I recently rented a storage unit from Woodbridge Storage off Barranca Pkwy in Irvine. My first bill was wrong and the man in the office refused to correct it. When I rented the unit they put the wrong unit number on the receipt. I brought it to the girls attention the day I moved things into my correct unit. She said it would show the charge but she would correct the unit number and I would have a credit for October since I was completing a new rental storage and was paying the charges in full for the new correct unit too. When I explained the charges the Asian man told me it was impossible for me to get a refund or credit for the incorrect storage since I already paid for it. I pointed out both receipts were dated for the same day, and I never took possession of the incorrect storage number..... he still refused to work with me. Looks like I'm going to end up in Small Claims Court to clear up this matter. DON'T recommend this place to rent storage! read more
