9/6/2025 - Ordered one 16oz cup of cappuccino and was asked whether I prefer to have more foam or milk. I selected a traditional cappuccino charistics or foam. Once I took the cup, I knew it was not right or the 16oz cup is so light - Expresso + 5 Inch Milk Foam - It took a little bit longer time to let me sip coffee liquid to my tongue, but it is like an expresso drink (1 star) My recommendation is to select more milk in this store for a cup of cuppucino. This 16 oz cup of cappuccino $6.12 is way below the quality of a cup of cappuccino with only one shot at $2.50 from the cafe at the Ovation of the Seas. If this coffee shop would not be at the famous Bellevue Square, I would rate the quality of this drink 1 star. It is worth noting that a complimentary cuppucino at the Westin Club of The Westin LAX, powered by Franke A600 FM CM Superautomatic Coffee Machine, is a 4-star or 4.5-star cuppucino! Tip: I still prefer my home-made cappuccino by using a CBTL machine with the organic milk. The taste is so good at $0.70 each cup of drink!
Overall: Pretty standard coffee shop. Cold brew I got was pretty good, I enjoyed the flavor combination and touches to add texture to the drink. Food: Got a smores cold brew coffee, came with small bits of graham cracker. I thought this was a fun touch to add texture to the drink. Service: I got here very early in the morning so there was no one else here. Drink was ready very quickly. Ambiance: Chill coffee shop vibes. Plenty of seating inside.
I had a wonderful experience here. Came for a croissant and they were out of it and they gave me a $5 "oops" card for next time. I wanted something similar to the medicine ball at Starbucks and the barista knew exactly what to do. I also got their breakfast sausage sandwich and it was so good! Great service, great ambiance and great drinks/breakfast sandwiches!
Love this place! The coffee is fantastic & they have plenty of space to work during the day. Would highly recommend if looking for a WFH spot.
We are in town for the holidays and needed a caffeine boost. We found the Woods Coffee down the street and loved that there was a drive-through and an inside spot to sit down. There was a line in the drive-through, but it looked like it was moving quickly. We went inside and loved the vibe! There was a little fireplace, many tables to sit at, and a little cubby area where you could close the door for soundproofness. On a different day, I definitely would have brought my laptop and hung out for a bit. When we got to the front of the line, there were a bunch of amazing-looking pastries and other food options. If we hadn't already eaten, I would have ordered some food. They had some great holiday coffee specials, like the peppermint bark mocha with a snowcap, but I'm a pumpkin spice girl and ordered one. The person at the register was very kind and answered all my questions (i.e., do you still have pumpkin spice, and how many shots come in each coffee), and he seemed to enjoy his job. The coffee came out quickly, and my pumpkin spice latte was hot and delicious. My wife said her vanilla latte was also excellent. Overall, it was a great experience at a new coffee shop, and I will return!
Vibes are nice. Service is fast and efficient. Coffee was okay, but not amazing. I only visited since I was passing through and the location was convenient but would stop in again to try some other drinks as they had an extensive menu. The drive thru was set up where you'd have to play frogger just to get from the parking lot to the front door.
My sister and I were excited to try Woods coffee today on our trip to the mall. I ordered a 16oz iced oat milk mocha and my sister ordered a 16 oz iced oat milk vanilla latte. While both of us loved are drinks, there was nothing exceptional about them that made them worth more than seven dollars each. Though my sister did say it's rare to taste the vanilla in a latte and she commends them for how flavourful hers was. I thought the coffee was pretty smooth and after stirring the mocha syrup at the bottom of my cup with a straw, I enjoyed how even the flavour was through my coffee. On a hot day, this was definitely a refreshing way to cool down. My sister didn't like the atmosphere, she thought it was claustrophobic with the fencing and the dark colours. The place to order is really tight and it's hard to navigate around groups of customers.
We were staying at the hotel next door to Woods Coffee and decided to have breakfast and coffee at Woods coffee. Once we walked in, it felt like walking inside that name-brand coffee house that we see everywhere. You can smell the rich aroma of coffee being brewed inside. They had a lot of tables and chairs and it was not crowded. We ordered their house coffee and some pastries. I'm a coffee lover and their coffee is good. It's not bitter and I liked my coffee a little bit strong. Their coffee is not your ordinary blend. This is definitely a nice coffee shop and can compete with that well-known coffee cafe.
Tried this coffee place on a Sunday morning and the place wasn't crowded. It was decent with ample amount of space which resonates their name woods. Coffee: Not a fan, tried their cappuccino and it was more milky and less espresso shot. Food: The food was amazing, we tried their bagel bites, egg bites, croissant, almond croissants. The best bagel bites I have ever had. They have small bite sized bagels filled with cream cheese inside, they were amazing. Egg bites were good. More than the coffee, I really loved their food items. You can give it a try if you are around this area.
This is a great location of Wood's Coffee Shop, which has some 20 locations in Washington. It operates more like a big box coffee shop (ahem, Starbucks), meaning it's a well oiled machine that churns out drink orders pretty fast, has a drive-thru, parking, seating, light bites, merch... But with a local feel. This particular location is connected to Hotel 116, but it's not your typical small coffee house. Again, it's large - seating inside and out, and seating that spills outside into the hotel area that is mostly occupied by students. There's even a conference room (not fully enclosed, as it has studio walls) that you can reserve for meetings or a study group. Book club, anyone? I was a guest at Hotel 116 for a few days, so I enjoyed Woods Coffee three days in a row (amongst other coffee shops in Seattle, because y'all have so many great options!). I'm a simple gal when it comes to coffee - no sweeteners or syrups. Just a simple almond or oat milk latte with a touch of cinnamon. My only disappointment was the hot breakfast options - everything has meat (sausage/pork), cheese, or both. So I stuck to lattes each visit and ordered breakfast bites/snacks elsewhere. Pastries look great too, especially the fall options.

Great area! I got the white mocha frappe and it was delicious! I also got the lemon loaf too and it was great. If you ever visit Bellevue I definitely recommend coming here! Great business! read more

I find the overall 4-star rating to be very accurate. We were not blown away by Woods Coffee, but definitely satisfied. The staff was friendly and our order was ready within 2 minutes. We took our drinks to go, but the inside was pretty cool. I loved all the wood accents and the fireplace. :-) It could have been a little cleaner inside, but it was busy, so I attributed it to that. I tried a 16 oz cold brew with almond milk and sugar-free vanilla. It was actually pretty decent and was overall better than the same thing from Starbucks (to be honest, I am having a hard time finding a coffee shop cold brew that compares to the store-bought STOK coffee...). My boyfriend ordered a hot chai tea latte and he loved it! He had never tried one before, and it was a hit for sure. We don't see Woods becoming a go-to place for us, but if we are ever in the mood to grab a quick and decent coffee, I think we would come back! read more

Whenever I'm in Bellevue I will come to woods, they have really good coffee and sweat customer service. I got myself a peppermint latte and the peppermint didn't take over the coffee taste but still be able to taste like Christmas. I'm so happy they came closer to me. Wish they would open one in RENTON or Kent. Don't mind the drive though. I love love love their coffee when I would visit Bellingham. Love their PNW decor, the coffee is excellent. And not a bad Price compared to other local chains. I ordered a mocha and it was a tad sweet so I'll make sure to ask for light on the mocha sweet or add Another shot! I'll be back! read more
Great coffee spot in Bellevue! Parking was easy in the morning since they have designated spots and there's also drive thru available. Inside has a nice cozy vibe with a decent amount of seating available and outside seats too. Staff was super friendly and got my drinks really quickly too. One of my orders was slightly wrong but the barista remade it asap which was nice. I got the salted caramel cold brew and it's so good! Would recommend trying if you're feeling something on the sweeter side. Overall a great location! read more

Love this place! Their blended coffee drinks are amazing! Tried the Mudslide and the Avalanche drinks, my favorite is the Avalanche! I always get the biggest size now. Their Monster cookie is really good as well. I make sure I always stop by here whenever I'm in town. Make sure you ask for a "punch card" to accumulate points, if you're frequent here. read more

I absolutely tell everyone to get woods. You cannot beat the fresh and yummy bakery/breakfast options. Only thing I've noticed that has changed as of late is the cold brew. It used to be my favorite but lately it's cut with water. Not sure if I should start ordering it without water but either way woods is so good! I even wear their merchandise. read more

Glad to have a drive-thru in Bellevue that's not Starbucks! I don't often get coffee from a drive-thru, especially since options are so limited in Bellevue, but Woods Coffee came to my rescue when I was on the road for a meeting. It's such a welcomed addition to the area! Drive-thru service was very fast. And the drive-thru lane is spacious and a good distance from the window to the screen that you order from. Since I came in the late morning there was only one person ahead of me, so not sure how busy it gets during the peak hour; but for me it was a speedy experience. I ordered the Mint Mojito Cold Brew with cream, which was featured as one of their specialty cold drinks. For the most part, I liked my cold brew and it even had a mint leaf on top; but I would definitely skip out on the cream next time unless I order in-house versus the drive-thru since the staff had put too much cream to my liking. The mint flavor was fine, but nothing like Philz Coffee's recipe, which is the reason why I wanted to try the Mint Mojito Cold Brew here (Philz's is my fav!). The cold brew itself though was great, and would've liked it better on its own. Or actually, you can customize any drink to your preference, including the standard favorites like the cold brew. I later learned about this feature when the barista at the window gave me my order, saying that I could add any kind of flavor they have to the cold brew, as they have a lot of syrups. Good to know for next time! Menu is extensive on all kinds of caffeinated drinks, and there's even smaller food items like breakfast sandwiches and pastries. And if you foresee coming here often, then do take advantage of the "stamp" card that they give you for free, which is an actual plastic card that runs your transaction, indicating your visit. After 12 visits you get a free drink. Done and done. Although this is the third Woods Coffee location in Bellevue, this is the only drive-thru service and isn't located in downtown Bellevue. Here you'll find a convenient location near 405, friendly and fast service, and a menu worth exploring. Welcome (again) to Bellevue, Woods Coffee! read more

As a tea snob I am very particular about my London Fogs and Woods was one of the best I have ever had! The amount of vanilla and foam was simply divine. It's also a wonderful place to study with a plethora of outlets. I will definitely be back :) read more

This place can definitely get busy. The drive through is consistently long but it moves quickly. There coffee is delicious. The space is clean and inviting. Staff are friendly and there is the usual coffee stand food. If you get hungry for a quick bite there is a chick fillet next door. Great place to sit and chill. read more

Have had a great experience while in the coffee shop, but their drive through experience is terrible. The person taking the order was chatting and laughing with someone else, clearly not interested in the order. Not surprising, she messed up. She only noted the coffee I ordered and did not register the sandwich. The 16 oz coffee that I got ordered was barely 8 oz. The cup felt light and when I opened the cup to check, only 50% was liquid, rest was froth or air. Not worth the $. Would recommend going into the coffee shop and getting what you want instead. read more

Stopped by with my husband for a quick caffeine to go. Mocha & latte were ok but the milk/foam in the drinks wasn't prepared right, so it tasted a little off/underwhelming. FYI - The 12oz drinks come with only a single shot of espresso so add more if you're used to the standard 2 shot espresso drinks. The space is open and bright with plenty of seating. read more

Waited at least 15 minutes to receive a cup of flat white, which tasted more like a latte. Too many workers, long lines (in and drive thru), coffee tasted ok, so so service. Don't need to come back. read more

Really strange experience at Woods today. Ordered a cappuccino and got only foam and no coffee (?) so I went back and asked. They then added two shots and this was what I ended up having. It tasted like espresso shots with nothing else in it.. disappointed to say the least! read more
Ordered Maple nut Macchiato and was good. I ordered one pump less to make it less sugary. I think I will stick to the Frapes next time. I wasn't a huge fan of the macchiato. Lots of parking available. Chick fil a is next door so expect parking lot to be full at times. read more
Woods is very quickly becoming my new favorite place! Please please please open a location in Issaquah!! I've been detouring the last few days on my commute into work because of some issues I've had with other coffee shops on my normal drive ( pet peeve when people continuously open the store late!) This location is HUGE! Plus has a drive thru, which is always appreciated! The inside is so cute and has tons of seating as well as private study rooms that you can reserve in advance for meetings or just to block space to get work done. I love that! They have a great variety of breakfast pastries and burritos, bagels, etc. All very tasty! I am obsessed with their matcha AND their pineapple green tea. Haven't experienced anything unpleasant here! read more

Tl;dr: Good coffee, wide variety of breakfast options. Woody theme and open interior. Drive through option. Oh and they make pour overs too. ***The long read*** How I got here? I was visiting Seattle for work last minute and I got put up in Hotel 116. They gave me free vouchers for free 16oz coffee and breakfast option. Ambience: First thing you notice once you enter the place is that it has a lot of natural light, high ceiling. So much wood that it lives up to it's name. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Chair by the fireplace( a working one!) I love the rough shaped natural finish wooden bench by the door. It has a very natural park feel to it. Coffee: I usually go for black coffee. They have 2 blends Woods blend and Bear. They serve their hot drinks in black cup and custom logo embossed lids with quotes by the likes of Joh Muir et all. I asked them for a pour over and they obliged. Btw the pour over tasted really fresh as compared to the drip. Breakfast: Egg sausage and bread was quite decent. I'd rate it above Mc'Ds. Taste wise it reminded me of the ones served in Starbucks. I tried the Avocado toast too. Not really sure if the bread was toasted (check the picture) but the taste was ok. Avocado spread was a little too sour for my taste. Lots of parking in front as they share parking with Hotel 116. They also have a drive through option for those days when it's raining too hard and you don't want to get out of your car. This is a Californian view of Seattle rains so take it with a pinch of salt(or cream and sugar!) read more
