Got takeout here, and tried the ginataang with green beans, shrimp, and sweet potato. I also tried the bbq chicken skewers, which were juicy and a great portion. Overall, the flavors were great!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We were seated rather quickly but the service can be a bit slow, so expect to spend some time here. I truly had no idea what to order so you can go in many different directions. We got - Inihaw Tuna Belly: We were torn between this and the tuna jaw and our waitress swayed us this way because the jaw has a bunch of bones. The meat was nicely charred on the outside but so tender on the inside in a way that was jarring. Our waitress recommended a small (I do not understand their sizing system) which was certainly more than enough. - Pusit (Squid): I could never have expected the size of this portion. It was so nicely done. The dipping sauce wasn't terribly special and I think it could have been a more interesting dish but the squid meat itself is so nicely prepared I didn't even mind. - BBQ Pork Skewer: I actually asked to choose between two other BBQ options but was directed towards this dish and am so glad I was as this was easily our favorite dish of the day. Such plump meat with a delicious seasoning/sauce and ample portion. - Grabbed some garlic rice (it's a bummer nothing comes with rice as you certainly need it and the rice was a bit on the expensive side). The portion is huge so we ended up taking probably 1/3 of it home. The service is a bit slow and it's definitely easy to get lost in the crowd. But if you're mindful of what you want and order everything all at once it's absolutely a nice experience.

My Philippino gf took me here saying it was her favorite place. I ordered the wonton soup and the goat. Both were very good! The soup was a little salty but so tasty. The wontons were yummy. The goat was port tender and the sauce was tasty! She ordered tuna sarcido and vegetable Bicol express. She loves the Bicol express and said the tuna was ok. I found them both decent and thought the Bicol has an interesting flavor and a decent kick!

first time at s filipino restaurant and thought this place was solid. we fot the lumpiang shanghai, sizzling sisig, inihaw tuna belly, pork skewers, and garlic rice and left stuffed. service was definitely slow but this is the kind of place you take your whole family and sit for a long while. my favorite was the sisig which was amazing with the garlic rice but the other dishes were just ok. everything was cooked well and staff were very friendly.

If you are craving Filipino food, this is the place. Went on a weekday after work for early dinner and the place was almost empty. Ordered the lumpia sariwa, the lumpia Shanghai, the ukoy, the barbeque pork skewers, the crispy pata, the tuna belly and panga, the ginataang sitaw with calabasa and okra and the pancit bihon. We definitely got excited ordering as all that food was for a party of 3. The food was really good. My favorite was the lumpia sariwa, the ukoy and the crispy pata. We went home stuffed and with a lot of leftovers. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend Tito Rad's.

My go-to Filipino restaurant in the area! I have been coming here for years with friends and family, some come here from LI. Conveniently accessible via public transit. Most of our party came via subway. There's a large room in the back that can be reserved for parties. I had been to a large birthday party there, and 2 of my friends had been there for a wedding celebration in the past. Our group was 10 people for dinner on a Saturday night. Ordered everything family style, one person in our party is vegetarian so she ordered 2 separate veg dishes. (We had a lot of food that unfortunately isn't all in my photos!) The staff were great and the food came out quickly considering it was such a large order. They only accept 2 credit cards max per table so one person paid. No alcohol served - most of us ordered the calamansi juice. Unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert this time.

My 4th time here. It's worth it! Ukoy is just like my grandma's. So good! This was the new dish I tried. Sisig is on point! And the garlic rice too. We also had the the chicken bbq stick (it was okay) and the palabok which was a tad salty. Super clean and friendly service. Great spot for big groups.

As a disclaimer, I've only had Filipino food about 5 times in my lifetime, so I am by far no expert. However, I read about Tito Rad's as a go-to Filipino spot in NYC, and the food did not disappoint (but the service did, a bit). I came on a sleepy Saturday before Easter, and the place was generally populated (about 65% full) with families for a late lunch (3:30PM). Everyone seemed to be having the fried pork knuckle, but I had eaten ahead of time so I wasn't really feeling it. I was seated at the two-person table right by the register with a plexiglass divider (this will become important later). After perusing the menu for the many typical Filipino offerings, I went with the Shanghai Lumpiang (can't go wrong with spring rolls!) and Sisig. The food came within 10-15 minutes, which was incredibly quick. The Sisig came legit -- sizzling pan and lemon on the side, which made me happy to see. The Lumpiang came with something that resembled duck sauce, but better. The Sisig had a wonderful balance of umami without feeling super heavy, while the Lumpiang was perfectly crispy with a nice dense meat inside. I overwhelmingly enjoyed both dishes. While the food was amazing, the service...left something to be desired. Having been seated at the table next to the register, I can understand that it was easy to overlook me, but I had to ask for my check 3 times (to other waitstaff) and the entire process of asking for it and actually paying took about 30 minutes after many failed attempts to get the attention. I would have excused it if the restaurant was still busy, but at the point I was checking out, they were only 25% occupied, so I really don't understand what the holdup was... All in all, good food, but service needs to be improved.

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

A perfectly medium-rare grass-fed strip steak covered in a green peppercorn white sauce with crispy fries. Zero complaints. Just clean plates.
