Great sports bar/pub going all in for the World Cup. Plenty of seating surrounded by TVs. Depending on how hungry you are there are lots of choices. Appetizers and full entrees like chicken fried steak. I went for the bang bang shrimp tacos. It comes with Mexican street corn but I opted for the onion rings instead. Full bar with lots of beer on tap. We visited early afternoon and it was pleasant but I bet when the games are on it is super loud. Happy hour specials from 4-7. They are currently running World Cup watch parties with special promotions and giveaways. Casual vibe with great service.

The staff actually seemed super nice including our waitress. My kid enjoyed the kids wings. It comes with a dipping sauce and side (got the tater tots and they loaded the basket with them) as well as a kids drink. Some sides are a buck more but it's the ones that cost $4.99 instead of $3.99. I got the spinach artichoke dip which was good and chips were fresh. Also got the cookie skillet which took a while to bake so order it before you're done eating. Large patio with dogs outside.

Place is cool and very clean. They had crawfish available on the menu today, definitely a plus!!! Of course their menu is awesome as well. Very unique entrees. This place is a must try if you're in the area. Great vibes and the music is good. Service is great as well, the staff is so polite and really attentive.

Okay, kids, buckle up...this is a good one! Took the wife and doubter to Woodson's last night largely based on my fellow Yelpers reviews. So, Monday-Friday they have happy hour 4:00-7:00 p.m. with 1/2 price on several appetizers and $1.00 off some wines, well drinks and beers. Try the GIANT Pretzel! Fed all three of us...and I loves me a good pretzel! Our server was Tawny, and she was busy (they were probably at 85%), but she or one of the other servers took care of us the whole time. She apologized, and thanked us for our patience. No complaints. Doubter had coconut shrimp which she loved (with enough for lunch today). Wife had the Buffalo Chicken Salad which was Dee-lish (her word!). I got fried mushrooms and a wedge salad...pretty basic, I know, but gotta say one of THE BEST wedge salads I've ever had! Cherry tomatoes, crunchy candied pecans, a generous portion of bleu cheese crumbles, a little balsamic drizzle (comes with bacon, which I omitted). Ranch tasted house made (didn't ask, but it was GOOD!). Only thing I would have liked was a little red onion, but, hey. Mushrooms were top tier as well. Great seasoning! Atmosphere was nice (even crowded)...lots of TVs with sports playing (but no sound), so you can hear the person two feet away from you! One thing on the pretzel (did I mention "yum"?)...it is served with a cheese sauce, which was really good, but a little stone ground mustard would put it over the top! Atmosphere, service, food...Woodson's hit the trifecta!

Crawfish are super flavorful! They taste better hot, so order 2 lbs at a time. Consider a blue moon on draft, it goes really well with the crawfish!

We love to come here. Sometimes the food is delicious and sometimes the same food is not good. But it a nice place to get together with family or friends

Service from Allison was 5*, easily accepting the off menu order for a salad topped with the shredded brisket that normally goes on a sandwich. The $alad was very $mall, but with quality ingredient$. Brisket was ok. A bit stringy for being a signature item, and in Texas you'd better serve better. Guest wanted brisket egg rolls and we split an order before I recalled they are horrible. They were not as bad as I remembered, but close. I guess someone likes these cultural abominations. Atmosphere was strangely warm. Outdoor temperatures at 69F seemed to have compelled the natives accustomed to sweltering to turn on the heat!? Ugh!

It was poppin on a Friday night so we thought we'd see what the hype was about. It's a sports bar with a larger menu. The pretzel was decent and the drinks were great, but the entrees were lackluster. Maybe it was the busy night or just an off day, but our server was also stretched thin between a lot of tables so we spent more time waiting than anything else.

Great atmosphere to watch a football, baseball or other sporting event! My husband and I enjoyed burgers with tots as well as a giant pretzel. Lots of TV's and super close to Magnolia

Had Woodson's Local Tap + Kitchen recently and really liked the relaxed ambiance. We ordered the queso dip and ahi nachos to start and both were delicious. I ordered the fried shrimp tacos and my husband and son got the crawfish, shrimp, snow crab, sausage boil. Food was pretty decent but the service was seriously lacking. Our waitress was not on top of it and our dinner took almost 3 hours from start to finish...insane!

When do that start selling crawfish?

Usually March I believe, but they're trying to start earlier this year! I'd say 2/3 weeks!

Does this place serve hard liquor?

Yes. They have full bar service.

The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. I enjoyed my food and drink and woke return, even though they still have some kinks to work out.

The pad krapow isn't really Thai style. It leans heavily Chinese, and if you want it closer to the real thing, the upcharges start stacking. Ground pork swapped for sliced chicken? +$2. Add a fried egg? +$3. You can see the pattern. The green curry was fine. Not bad, not memorable. Other places do it better, though I'll give them credit for the gold bowl -- nice presentation. The cheese sticks come in egg‑roll wrappers, which is exactly what it sounds like: mozzarella stick meets egg roll. I tried to talk my kid out of ordering it, but they wanted something "not Thai." Honestly, most of the menu already fits that description. A lot of dishes feel like Westernized interpretations of Thai food rather than Thai food itself.

To be fair, it is my own fault because I tried El Mariachi a year or two ago and thought it was gross then. However, I know everywhere deserves a second chance so I thought I'd give it another try, especially when I saw it had such a high average rating. Let me first say, service is INCREDIBLE. Truly could not ask for better. The hostess was really sweet and she stayed kind even when I could tell she was overwhelmed by all the people. We had multiple servers come by to check on us at various times and do things for us and they were all great too. Absolutely 0 staff complaints. I ordered a watermelon margarita and couldn't drink it. The syrup was completely separated from the actual drink. I left it completely full and while I didn't want to complain, I was surprised that I wasn't asked if it was okay. Had I been asked, I would've told them. My husband thought his house margarita was good, but he did order it frozen and it was already half liquid by the time he got it. The food was not good. I took one bite of my beef taco and pushed it to the side. It was essentially Taco Bell meat. No shade to Taco Bell, but if I wanted that, I would've just gone to T Bell. It sure would've been a lot cheaper. My cheese enchiladas were also not good. I asked to have sour cream sauce on top & was charged $2 for it. I wasn't told I'd be charged extra and didn't see anywhere on the menu where it said that. Even so, $2 for sauce is crazy, but $2 for sauce when the enchilada ALREADY comes with sauce on top and all you had to do was replace it?? Wild. The queso was okay. Not amazing, not bad. It's the only thing I was able to eat. Not my personal experience, but two tables in our same section had issues with their food too and had to send it back. $85 for that is crazy. I'm glad so many seem to enjoy it, but El Mariachi will never see me again.
