To say we are thrilled with the team at this store, managed by Corey, is an understatement! They helped us in our selection and decision to use 8/4 walnut for 2 countertops and an island for our kitchen remodel. They offered the service to prepare, plane, and glue these up, which was no easy feat, due to the length needed. They wanted to ensure these turned out beautifully! Took the time they needed without rushing. Special thanks go out to Corey, Mike, Jen, and many others who helped with this project!! You helped make our dream kitchen a reality!!

My go to source for all of my woodworking supplies. As a custom drum builder sourcing high quality exotic and domestic woods is essential. Woodworkers source meets my needs in spade. Couple that with unequalled customer service and you have the best resource in Arizona hands down.

This is like a candy store for carpenters......wow, so much wood! And TONS of exotic woods! I'm not a wood worker, but my husband dabbles in projects....he was practically salivating! Even for me, it was fun! They had some really beautiful woods like purple heart and zebra wood, mahogany, mesquite (and other domestics) lots of woods from Africa....If this was a hobby for me, I think this would be the jackpot! They do have a shop in the back where you can recieve some assistance on your projects, and they do sell a few tools, though I would think the main purpose in coming here would be for their variety of wood.

Needed duplicates of the white piece. They did a great job, and super quick, while I waited there.

They have a wide variety of products, you know: the thingamabobs, doo-hickeys, and so many other items that we can never remember the names of (to save our lives!) Our latest find was scored with the determined help of a young man (pictured here) that stuck with us until we found what we needed to get the job done, despite our terrible attempt to describe it! Thanks to him and all the other helpful folks at Ace, We walked out with the right items to get ourselves out of a pickle for under a buck. Great price, indeed! We are happy that we have an Ace Hardware right up the street that we can trust. They always guide us in the right direction when we get the itch to start working on projects that we have no business starting without the proper tools or training to do! SMH ‍ Thanks Ace! I purchased a pair of Ace…read moreBranded gloves on Saturday morning and came to return them and buy a more robust pair (for more money per pair) as the gloves did not last 3 hours of yard work - they had holes in the glove. The young lady refused to take the gloves back because they were used. I told her I knew that as I was the one who used them. After several verbal exchanges and her picking at the shredded glove, I got upset and called her a blockhead. (Not good by me) She said I had to see a store Manager. I just returned from attempting to return the gloves and buy a better pair, and Austin, the store manager, also refused the return, and I told him I would never be back. He smiled and said goodbye. I guess at $17.00 pair of gloves is worth really ticking off a customer. It's all smiles while buying, but not when you try and return a defective pair of gloves and buy a more expensive pair. I am done shopping at ACE. I want to buy locally, but I guess the cost of acquiring a new customer is less than $17.00. The store will not suffer one bit from my choice, but it is my choice to make. I also have flooring that needs to be done at another property, and I was deciding between Lowe's and Home Depot. After my interaction with an employee named Adam, Lowe's has lost at least a few thousand dollars of my business, potentially more. From the beginning, Adam was incredibly dismissive. I explained what I was looking for and asked reasonable questions about the flooring and estimate, and rather than engaging with me normally, he repeatedly stared at me blankly, as if my questions were stupid. If that wasn't what he intended to communicate through his body language, he should be aware of how negatively this behaviour comes across socially. Staring blankly at a customer after they ask a question, rather than engaging with or answering them, is not a positive or professional way to communicate. When he began putting together an estimate, I noticed that the numbers were significantly different from the estimate shown online and asked him why. Instead of simply explaining the discrepancy, he looked at me and asked, "Are you okay?" in an extremely disrespectful and patronizing manner. I responded, "Are you?" and asked to speak with a manager. He then told me that he was answering my questions, "just not the way you want me to," despite the fact that I was asking for clarification precisely because my questions were not actually being answered. When I requested the manager, he sarcastically said, "I'm calling the manager. Is that helpful enough for you?" I told him that he actually had not been helpful at all, at which point he simply walked away and left me standing there without telling me whether a manager was coming. I ultimately had to find another employee and ask them to call a manager for me. The interaction also had extremely misogynistic undertones in my opinion. The combination of the condescension, dismissiveness, patronizing "Are you okay?" response when I questioned the estimate, and general manner in which he spoke to me left me feeling that I was not being treated with basic professional respect. The assistant store manager who eventually spoke with me was very nice, listened to what happened, apologized, and told me he would address it with Adam. I genuinely appreciated how he handled the situation. Unfortunately, by that point the damage had already been done, and I will be taking these flooring projects elsewhere. Lowe's needs to emphasize basic social and customer-service skills with its employees. Customers should be able to ask questions about purchases costing thousands of dollars without being mocked, patronized, or treated as though they are an inconvenience. And even if a customer were being difficult--which I was not--an employee responding with sarcasm and disrespect is incredibly unprofessional and an excellent way to lose business. In this case, that is exactly what happened.
