This location Home Depot I think have the laziest staffs in the world. There ladies, guys just sit down chatting without aware surround. I came there for decided window blinds after measurement, the lady didn't help me, instead just calling Greg, I know I spoke with Greg, but since she at the same department, Greg on lunch why don't she help me, since she only sit down, chats with her coworker. Another thing, windows measurement person told me I can get measurement right the way after the measurement, just call the store. So I called the store, Greg told me yeah I can coming, when I arrive there, the measurement not there yet, until next day, I spent 1 hour to get there, did he think how much time, gas, mileage when get there & get nothing. So kinda miscommunications between Home Depot & measurement person, dis-organized. Next day late afternoon, I have to give Greg call, did he ever get the measurement because no news ? He answered my call, he said will email me pictures, but what I got it just price $1060 total, how can I install windows without knowing the products ? He thinks easy money, just emailed me the price ? Then he thinks just accept payment, install, thats it ? After all. I am thinking maybe faster if I install things myself, or move to another Home Depot location or find another home products who can install windows too. This is the Home Depot closest to where I live. We always come here for any home projects or just to pick up replacement parts. 1) Our home has lots of different light bulbs and we are able to find all the kinds (even the under the kitchen counter light bulbs that I have never seen anywhere else before) 2) Love the once a month free kid workshop they have on Saturday! Great fun for all ages and helps them to learn to assemble with basic tools! 3) Had to replace all the bathroom tiles as a result of replacing entire sewage line. After going to several tile stores with crazy prices ($$$$), realized Home Depot has tiles that doesn't need ordering and can get enough to retile bathroom floor for much less ($) 4) I agree that sometimes it is hard to get someone to help you (requires walking around asking) but once I find someone, they are usually very helpful. More than once, if I bring the broken part, they are even willing to open the package to let me make sure it is the right part. All in all, I think this location is pretty awesome! read more

Best service I've ever had at Home Depot hands down! I was on this side of town today visiting my daughter and decided to stop in to purchase a Treager they have on sale this week. I wish I remembered the employees name who helped me because he tried every way he could to find a way to fit the only one they had left into my SUV. Unfortunately it didn't go my way so I left empty handed. I did come back to another Home Depot location to pick one up in my truck but the service at the other was awful. Black Friday -- a day in which madness abounds at every shopping center, big and small. We thought we'd avoid the revelry today, but after several hours of noticing the void in our living room where a Christmas tree ought to be, we ventured to this Home Depot to get decorating for the holidays. This is an easy Home Depot to access, and despite it being Black Friday, we had no trouble with parking. If you're heading south on Priest, it's a quick left turn onto Darrow, and there's the parking lot. Now, my girlfriend's got the green thumb, but I can definitely appreciate how vibrant the nursery is. I can't tell you specifically what sort of vegetation you should expect to enjoy here, but be assured that there's plenty to go around. Our objective, of course, was to obtain a Christmas tree. There were a bunch of small, potted trees in front of the nursery -- they were nicely sized and looked easy to decorate. However, they were not fragrant, and they cost $40! A bit steep for the small stature of the tree (~3'-4'). Just when we were about to settle for a less impressive tree, we decided to swing by the tree emporium they set up in the parking lot. Here were various firs, ranging from 5 to 9 feet, some even larger. A lovely, 5' Douglas Fir caught our eye. It was fragrant, symmetrical, light, and $37! We would still need a stand, of course, but this struck us as a much better deal than one of the potted trees. We picked up our fir and hovered by the chainsaw where some Home Depot staff were tending to their forest. We weren't sure if we were supposed to just walk across the parking lot to purchase our tree, and we figured one of the staff members would eventually notice our standing there with our freshly-picked catch. They did not, however, despite noticing our presence as they sawed away. Would've liked a little communication there. Nonetheless, we marched to the cashier without any trouble, and there we bought our holiday centerpiece. Victory. After loading the tree, we went back inside the store to pick up a few other items. For about $8 we picked up a box of 300 multi-colored lights (which turned out to be just right for our tree!), and for only $12, a 100-piece set of holiday ornaments to get decorating. There's an array of color schemes (we went with green, red, and gold), large and small spherical pieces, snowflakes, reindeer, and a star to put on top! Solid bang for your buck in my opinion, and now our living room is all the more festive. In my almost three years in Arizona, I've been to this Home Depot for other goodies, from home improvement tools to trellises for the balcony at my old apartment. Attempted to call the customer service number provided, got run around keypad circles despite requesting a service rep and having the bot acknowledge that request. When it seemed I was going to finally talk to someone, heard to beeps and was moved to a customer satisfaction survey. Took the survey and issued all ones. I could have driven to the store and been done quicker. Tried Lowe's whom I detest almost as bad. 1 and done in a couple minutes. read more

RUDE, SMARTASS CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE!!! I came in to return the 2 dead plants which I have a receipt but don't remember the plants' name nor did I know that I am required to keep the skew numbers. The customer service Mario, Carlos and Alexis--the supervisor at this location were not helpful at all and they were laughing at me because I gave them the wrong name on the receipt that were not plants. The Mario guy started to snap at me loudly that he would need all the skew numbers in order to process a return. The Carlos guy even told me not to yell at them, then automatically assumed that I tried to return stuffs that were bought or stolen elsewhere. The Alexis gal told me that she searched on my Home Depot credit card back from 2015 but found no plants. What a lie!!! I only had the card in March 2021. These people are outrageously disrespectful with smartass rude attitude! So fed up with their smartass BS, I went to another home depot and returned all the plants with the same receipts, and had no problem whatsoever!! Avoid this location!!! read more

According to the website, the store opens at 5 AM. I came here at a little after 6 AM to pick out a variety of outdoor plants. The doors to the garden center were still closed, but there were flowers out front so I looked at them first I saw some that I liked, but I wanted to see what they had inside first. I found some in the garden center that I put them in my basket And still wanted the ones I saw out front... They didn't have any of the same ones inside. I asked one of the store associates in the garden center if I was able to go through their closed door to pick out a couple that were in front. He said no you had to go all the way around out front to get them. He then proceeded to tell me the garden center doesn't open until eight. That's why the doors were still closed... Their website says the store opens at five and I'm pretty sure the garden center is part of the store. So I walked all the way back to the front door and I asked another associate if I was allowed to bring my cart out to the front flowers so I could find some that complement the ones that I got inside my cart. They said no. So I said OK fine and I pushed my cart to the side and said I'll be right back. I went out without my cart and picked out a couple that I hoped would look good with the others. When I came back in after two or three minutes, my car was gone. I asked the associate where did my cart go she shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know and walked away. So I grabbed another cart put the plants inside and went all the way back to the garden center to pick out new ones because I figured they took my cart and put them all back. I couldn't find any that were as nice as the ones I had originally picked out and started to leave when I spotted my cart, pushed down a side aisle with a green ribbon attached to the handle... Not sure what the green ribbon meant. I finally got what I needed and left, but I will never come to this store again... Incredibly unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. I cannot believe the consistency of not only poor customer service, but the rude behavior that comes along with it from the majority of the floor staff at this location. I feel bad for the couple of really good customer service people I have encountered that they have to work in such a poor environment. As a pro account member I felt it necessary to at least share my experiences from this location so that anyone that reads this can at least be prepared for the level of service NOT provided. I shop at Home Depot almost daily and sometimes multiple times per day. This location happens to be the most convenient for me because of the location of my shop. But trust me when I say I will be driving several miles out of my way to steer clear of this particular store. I went to this location today with my dad whom was attempting to have pull down shades that he had just purchased from them sized. They have a "trimming" machine to trim down purchased blinds and such. After making our way over to the counter, we were met by an associate who was kind of unpleasant. She must have realized how she was coming across because she randomly apologized and said she was sorry for being snippy and that her day had been "crazy". We assured her it was okay. She was unable to assist so we waited on someone to be called over to help as the machine must be operated by a Home Depot employee. I am assuming not all employees have the experience and/or credentials to do so. After a minute or two another lady worker came over to us. This lady was hands down the most disrespectful person I have come across in many years. She should not be employed anywhere where she is allowed to speak to people in any manner but rather a job where she she does not have any human interactions - it was that bad. If I didn't have a mask on, she would have seen my jaw drop in shock as she proceeded with this unbelievable conduct. I was tempted to locate a manager and report the behavior, however, I considered the fact that if she so openly behaves this way, she must know that her job is secure and that management does not care how terrible she speak to or treats their customers. It is an absolute travesty that they have someone like this employed within their company and quite frankly unacceptable in my eyes. I frequently visit this Home Depot for everything from gardening to home repair items because they are in close proximity to where I live. Going forward, I will travel the additional distance to Lowe's. I will not give Home Depot another dime of my money after having been treated the way we were today. I will also be canceling my Home Depot credit card. Today they lost a loyal customer. They may want to re-evaluate what they tolerate in terms of employee conduct towards patrons or I have a feeling they will loose more. read more

I go to HD approximately 10 times or more a week. For the most part usually have good experiences, besides maybe not being able to find a staff member. Today after waiting for an associate in hardware for approximately 20 minutes they (Tania) finally show up. She pushing some carts and said she needs to go do something with returns and asked me to wait. So ok, no biggy. When she showed back up she is already acting snarky about having to try to re-key some locks for me. But she gets her stuff out and walks to the counter where she can work. Right from the get go she has an attitude that anyone can tell she doesn't like having to do a certain thing. So she gets her stuff out as I'm laying the locks out, I'm standing in front of a seat and she says "I need that", ok so I move over. I stand near the end of the counter just so I can watch her and see how was going to reset this particular cylinder (Kwikset smartkey). She waived her arm slightly up and tells me she needs space and needs to focus....ok. So I sit down. Tells me she can't get this particular part out as she's banging it in the ground. I told her I could help because I've done a lot of them and some are harder than others. Tells me "no, it won't come out" and "I've been doing this for 8 years". Finally it pops loose and she gets to work only to say her devices won't work. Ok, I tell her thanks for trying at least and that I would go out in the parking lot to see if I can do it by taking it apart. She gives the impression it can't be done. Told her I'd be back inside to buy new locks if I can't get it. After 20 minutes of work I get both smartkeys apart and "re learned" to a new key. I go back in to buy some other products I needed and see her. She looks at me and doesn't say anything. I tell her "I got them fixed" and she looks at me and shrugs saying "what fixed", like she didn't know. She said "oh, ok" and turns around and walks off. I hate to give the store a poor review overall but even one snarky employee like this can make the entire store look bad. Like I mentioned above I shop for business at HD ten or more times a week at least and never have come across an employee with this type of attitude. I don't usually ever review, but had to share. Rating the RENTAL PROCESS. Typically I wouldn't rate a business like this but I was annoyed. I reserved a welder online. That was a smooth and easy process. The issue i had was they advertised a "Lincoln 140" but gave me a "Lincoln 125". There was no mention of the switch online or by the employee. Slight annoyance purely due to lack of communication, but it'll work. The other issue was the welder wasnt cleaned/checked from last renter. It was missing the spacer that keeps the spool in place. I had to find a way to make a washer and duct tape work. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but it caused my roll of wire to unravel. Its very frustrating & usually a waste of money trying to get it back under control so it feeds correctly. So alot of time was wasted doing silly things just to get setup to work. It all ended up working out in the end. But when you're renting a tool it should be ready to use. Especially when most people that will be renting probably aren't very experienced welders. It took me looking up a couple more videos on the specific machine before I figured out it was missing the piece. Not a good experience when you're already just trying to focus on using a new machine. An experienced welder would've probably caught the issue quicker, but an experienced welder probably isn't the typical renter. read more

I ordered 10 moving boxes for curbside pick up and was there today for 45+ mins. After waiting in the car for over 15 mins I made the first phone call. A lady picked up the call and told me it's gonna be a few mins. Then about another 10 mins she walked out l, asked my order number again and told me will be another few mins. I was already confused when I checked in online aren't they supposed have my order number and pick up item ready? Ok so I kept waiting, over 15 mins later I made another call, same lady picked up and told me "it's gonna be another few mins". I decided to walk in to just pick up my boxes since I already waited in my car for over 30 mins. Waited in the line and finally got to talk to the same lady, I don't wanna mention her name. at this time it was already 45 mins arrived then store. Now she tells me she couldn't find my order and just sent someone to the back to grab my boxes. I said ok I'll need to talk to a manager. She said why you can talk to me. I said you're the same lady who answered my calls and came out the last 45 mins and told me my order is not being found. I need to talk to a manager please. She asked me what I want from a manager. I said at least I need to let them know the situation and this is making me very frustrated. Maybe they can provide me a store credit or an apology. She said this out loud" well I can tell you NOW that's not gonna happen!" Then I asked her are you the manager. She said no but still trying to argue. I cut her off "I don't wanna talk to you if you're not the manager! Thx". So finally the manager came I was trying to tell him the whole situation. When I mentioned I came in the store n being in the store for 15-20 mins now after waited 30 mins in the car, the lady cut me off again said "she was here for like 5 mins". I ignored her and told the manager to check his camera and see who's being honest and who's a little liar. There was a security guy next to me while I was in the store the whole time, he saw my struggles and I told the manager to ask him how long I was in the store after 30 mins wait in the car. The manager Ben or Dan apologized right away and went to the back and grab my boxes for me. He offered me a refund for these boxes and said if I like he can issue me some store credit. I was mad when I said I need a store credit but it's not what I was really looking for. I appreciated his apologies and his professional way to handle the issue. I said no to the refund or store credit, instead of that he gave me a free scotch tape to help for my move. And that was really appreciated. Although it's only $3 dollars. I can see why Ben or Dan (sorry I wasn't paying attention to his name) is on his position as a manager. He's very professional and cares about the customers. I'm extremely mad and uncomfortable with the way the lady who talked to me and accusing me. I'm giving 4 stars and it's all for the manager. I shop at Home Depot when I'm working on my house. Which is a rare occasion. BUT I LOVE THE FACT THEY SUPPORT MILITARY. So I go to Home Depot. Well today this female with large lips and bushy eyebrows, I didn't care about her name, told me the only way I can use a military discount is to download the app which will only take two minutes. It would take her two seconds to check my ID and scan a barcode. I'm already doing a self check out so god forbid this lady actually does her job. I normally go to a different Home Depot and they have never told me they would honor my military discount because I didn't care to get the app. So the older veterans that don't have smartphones. We came in to purchase a shed which was still in its box on a shelf in the garden area. We asked the lady working the outdoor checkout stand for help. She kindly called over the loud speaker for assistance. No one came. After another 5 minutes she called into the store itself, another 15 minutes and still no one had come. We personally went to customer service who sent out an employee, but she was no help and just proceeded to go talk to the lady who had already made 2 calls for assistance. She made another call and it has now been over 30 minutes and no one has come. The single star is only for the kind lady's assistance as she was also becoming frustrated.
