Woofie's is truly amazing! They have been walking my two dogs for over a year and we've done a few overnight in home visits as well while we were out of town. Both my dogs love their walker Mary (and I love giving pictures of a visits!). She was especially great with our dog after her knee surgery. We used Woofies for the first time this Labor Day weekend and couldn't have had a better experience! Our 6-month old German Shepherd, Nikita, is a little high maintenance (heated chicken and rice and probiotics) and 2am potty breaks, and the host was happy to accommodate. Their adorable dog, Charlie, was great with Nikita, and the host family spoiled her with lots of attention and sent us several texts and pictures over the weekend which was very reassuring. My pup has only been to Woofie's, this time he was left with razor marks in his stomach. They said because he hasn't had a cut in a while, so it's "normal". There were multiple marks. My dog is an Australian Shepherd so I thought they would cut him and leave some hair like the back of the legs and such, instead they gave his a buzz cut. Will not be coming back here, definitely try other groomers. read more

Mobile spa - what an excellent service. We have 2 senior dogs and being left at a groomer's location with numerous other dogs for several hours has become very stressful for them. We tried Woofies and will NEVER take our dog back to a regular groomer. Woofies did a great job grooming our Sheltie and Border Collie. It was so wonderful to see the van door open and each of them come out from the grooming absolutely stress-free and looking beautiful. Due to my fiances job, he is gone a lot of weekends that I happen to work long days, requiring us to hire a dog sitter or walker. I was really nervous about having to leave my pup with a stranger but after looking at a number of websites and reviews I decided I would give Woofies a try and I'm very happy I did. Both times, we had Lisa come by to walk Fedde a few times a day and help release some energy while I was gone. I was able to leave work a little early a few days ago and catch Lisa on the tail end of her walk with Fedde. She is a very kind, responsible woman and I am so happy we happened to get her the first time. However, after dropping by their office to leave my keys and meeting everyone I don't think I would be too concerned with anyone they assigned to walk Fedde. They are all very kind, dog loving people and I would trust all of them with my pup. Please know that their current brick and mortar location is at 44200  waxpool rd. suite 137. Sara from Woofie's groomed our standard poodle yesterday, and I'm delighted with their service! Our dog is not easy to groom -- his severe epilepsy causes frequent neurological activity as well as general unsteadiness. I'd developed a routine with our regular groomer whereby I would steady him on the table while she worked, because he really is prone to falling off! She told me that his anxiety and resulting neurological activity was much better with me there, so when she moved away I looked for a groomer that would allow me to stay with him. Sara wasn't the least bit put off by all of our unique requirements. She was pleasant, professional, patient, efficient, kind and capable. Sammy was much less wobbly than at his last appointment, and I'm very happy with the results. I highly recommend Woofie's, and particularly commend Sara! read more

Woofies is simply outstanding on all counts. We use them for occasional pet sitting and they are able to accommodate all the special needs of our dog and two cats, including multiple medications. They take time to give us updates and keep us posted on their status while we are away, sending pictures and notes. We first used Amy and Leslie not long after they started Woofies and never considered leaving my babies with any other service - ever - since then! In fact, Amy and Leslie truly were our younger dog's first care givers (besides us!) after we rescued him in 2004; so they truly have helped raise him. Since both our babies were rescue/pound puppies, they were especially fearful of new people. I had my first baby since 1994 and after 10 years, it was the most wonderful feeling to come home and see how happy she was after leaving her in Amy and Leslie's care for the first time. Our older baby died last September; she had been sick for about a year and Amy was always available to care for her on those hard days when we had to work . The morning she was dying and I had to call to make arrangements to take her to the Vet, I next called Amy to arrange care for my other baby to comfort him in the days after his big sister would be gone. Not only was Amy willing to do anything she could to help on short notice, she actually rushed over to our house within a couple of hours to say goodbye to my little girl. Who does that? Who cares enough to be by the side of the angel you had for 16 years in her final hours? Only someone who truly knows how much we love our sweet babies. And we are lucky enough that she shares this love with all of her clients at Woofies. Amy, Leslie, and the whole Woofies team are my saviors. My husband and I just recently brought home our new 8 week old puppy. After an unsuccessful attempt at giving him his first bath in our home (to save some money), we decided to try out a professional pet grooming service and chose to go with Woofie's, since they are local for us. Let me say that it's the best decision we made. Our groomer, Brittany, arrived within the given 45 minute time frame and completed the service within 30 minutes. She was very professional, warm and friendly to us and our puppy. When our puppy was returned to us, OMG, he was so happy and smelled amazing - fresh and clean (just like other reviewers stated). We like Brittany so much that we have requested her by name for our next appointment. The communication and scheduling process was also excellent. This is the first service we've used where you can actually text, which is great. Renee was awesome. She was very prompt in responding and coordinating our appointment. My husband and I just got home from a weekend away and had the pleasure of having Woofies care for our 6 year old labradoodle. In the past we've had family and friends (or the occasional boarding at our vet) care for our dog when we've been out of town. We were a little nervous to leave him home and just have someone come to feed/play/walk him at various intervals throughout the days while we were away. However, that fear was quickly put to rest after our initial consultation with Amy from Woofies, who was super sweet and thorough in going over everything, prior to this weekend. (Her communication right up to this weekend was outstanding as well!) Now home and seeing how well-adjusted and happy our dog is just seals the deal. We received emails/texts while away, just letting us know all was well. Returning home, we had notes from Woofies dog walker Suzy with the day/time that detailed how each of the visits went. Woofies is my first experience with a mobile groomer. They arrived early after calling to ask if it was okay to do so. Our groomer was Homberto Zarate and he was really great. He was very thorough in asking about my two dogs. He was patient and really kind. For what I would normally pay at a regular grooming visit, my dogs received the same services and were done in less than 3 hours...rather than being dropped off and have to wait for hours and be traumatized. We had great experience for both Christmas and NYE holiday boarding. We just had a baby and I usually do all the booking and planning for trips and when the baby came I totally slacked on booking. I usually board our Husky boy at Olde Towne Pet Resort. But since I forgot to book early they booked up and had no availability. I frantically email blasted a bunch of petsitting and boarding services fingers crossed and hoping someone would have availability. Woofies was the quickest, friendliest to respond. Woofies was great and able to squeeze us in last minute with Valerie (one of their groomers) and their labradoodle. Our boy had a great time, I loved the daily updates and pictures, and he came home tired from his vacation away from baby and with his new labradoodle buddy. This experience definitely opened up a much better boarding option that we didn't know existed. We thought "resort" boarding was as good as it gets but now our husky boy and I are spoiled with the "bed and biscuit" concept. What better way than to board with other dog lovers free roaming with unlimited loving, belly rubs, and playtime. So Much better than the alternative of cages/ boarding rooms, where you get only timed playtimes/loving with a pay per extra mentality. We will definetly keep coming back! read more

Took one star off cause of most recent dog walker. She just didn't know how to handle one of our dogs, granted that he is a large breed puppy. But was disappointed with this and could tell she really didn't want to come walk the dog. I tried to give some options to help her handle better but they didn't seem to work. We are now on a third dog walker in the past few months. Hopefully this one will stay consistent with us and show some experience with large breed dogs. read more

First time using Woofies for our 7 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix when we went on vacation for 8 days! We have been using Woofies for three years now for dog walking and most recently for their grooming services. Libby is truly the best groomer we have ever used. We have a black lab with a very thick coat and he sheds a lot due to his condition and medications (Addisons disease). Woofies was grooming him for us and suggested we try shaving him to see if it would make him less itchy from all the shedding. We were worried that a shaved lab would look funny but we gave it a try anyway. He looks amazing! His coat is so even, you can barely tell he has been shaved. He's happier and more comfortable now and as an added bonus to us, we don't have hair all over the house. We used to use a ferminator on him and this method is sooooo much more effective. He smells great from their shampoo and he gets so excited when Libby arrives to pick him up, he practically knocks her over. When we used other groomers in the past, he would resist going in to see them...but not with Libby! We are so happy with her service and with Woofies. They make it so easy on us. The mobile groomer comes right to our house and payment is made online. It couldn't be easier for us and our dogs couldn't love them more!! I would recommend Woofies to anyone that needs a dog-walker, sitter or groomer. They are the best we have ever used and we will never go anywhere else!! read more

I have been considering using a mobile pet groomer for a while. I called Woofies and made my appointment. The groomer arrived right on time and we chatted for a couple of minutes. She took my dog, Puccini out to the van for a wash, clip and nail trim. It took about an hour with excellent results. The entire experience, from setting the appointment to the actual service was excellent. Woofie's has provided exceptionally outstanding grooming to my 130 pounds Giant Schnauzer via their mobile service. Most importantly, Woofie's continued when my dog's hind hips weakened due to age (12) making it extremely difficult to groom him. Woofie's didn't refuse grooming, rather assigned (2) groomers to provide compassionate and continued grooming that met their high standards consistent with that standard set for pets entering Westminster competition in New York City. We've had dogs (no children) for 40 years throughout the US and overseas. Woofie's has been the only Groomer who did not abandon our pet, as all others did, when physical limitations of our pet prevented his full participation in the grooming. We recently adopted a husky mix that hates water and can be difficult to handle. We had taken him to the vets office twice for grooming and both times they told us he was too hard to handle and they were only able to bath him. His nails were getting out of control, so we decided to try the mobile pet spa thinking it would be a little less stressful for him. So glad that we did, John was wonderful with our dog and he got his nails trimmed and bathed so quickly that our dog didn't know what happened! We just booked him again for a second visit. The van was clean and set up so that my husband could easily fit in there to help hold the dog while they did his nails. Really wish I could give them a higher rating because the one time my dog was groomed by them they really did a great job and took extra care as he was a puppy and it was his first groom which can be traumatic. But even though there is a phone number the voicemail you will ALWAYS get tells you email is their fastest form of contact. Being a new customer and unfamiliar with how the grooming process works actually speaking to someone vs them just eventually emailing you back a link you've already read on their website is frustrating and time consuming. On top of the emailing being frustrating their staff doesn't seem to actually read your return emails because as both my husband and I tried to contact them for payment we were ignored and then eventually followed with late payment collection emails, not cool. We tried to suck it up because the girl really did do a great job on taking care of our dog, and go a second time but we were told through one email that they'd get back to us on availability...that was two weeks ago and no it's not in spam folder either. Tried calling and leaving a voicemail as well and still nothing. We will be taking our business somewhere more courteous and professional. Unless you have the time to sit, wait and constantly go through emails hoping they ever get back to you with something not copied and pasted from their website that you've already read I really wouldn't recommend them. read more

The quick written note we get from our walker after each visit is a huge help - letting us know of any issues we may need to monitor, in addition to just being a pleasant personal touch to the service, which always makes us know that our boy is being loved and cared for while we're at work! Woofie's is also great about scheduling updates - they have always been willing to accomodate requests including adding a second visit for a long day, pushing back a walk by a few hours, or a cancellation requested the same morning.
