We then spoke to Linda who is the most lovely person and who shared the building and bakery's history. We came back the next day to try the sweet treats and let me just say, they were AMAZING! Most ingredients are shipped in from Europe and you can tell! They are famous for their Macarons made the French way. The constant line speaks for itself. Though this cute shop is a franchise their macaroons, coffee, staff, and atmosphere do not disappoint. I highly recommend the PB&J, Piña Colada, Lemon Tart, and the Red Velvet! So delicious. It's soft and very full of flavor! I've also tried their chocolate covered desserts and those are great too. They also feature quite a few other amazing looking desserts and they cater too! If you need lunch or a small bite they have assorted sandwiches and paninis. They also have juices and grab and go snacks/drinks available for purchase. I've had two coffees from them and both were dry cappuccinos. They weren't dry enough to my liking but they had great flavor. Full bodied medium espresso. Very basic and easily enjoyed by many. If you like it well enough they have it available to take home in 1 lb bags! They also have tea you can take with you too! Wow! Upon entering, you are instantly taken back on how bright it is, which feels great especially on a rainy day. The staff and owner was very friendly and full of smiles. There is plenty of seating which makes it enjoyable to have nice conversation with whoever you come in with. The prices for the macaroons are a bit high for the area ($2.75/ea) but worth trying at least once in awhile. Overall I really enjoyed Whoops! I heard rumors of a macaron shop being in Coeur d'Alene, and then Woops! I found it. Upon walking in, it was a calming environment with a beautiful case of macarons. They had a few samples sitting out to try and persuade my decision. I chose three sweet ones and three fruity ones. We had the dark chocolate, cookies and creme, and vanilla. Each of these were good. My favorite was the dark chocolate. It melted in my mouth. The three fruit filled ones were delightful: lemon, blueberry cheesecake, and a raspberry. I did not want any of these ones to end. Each bite was splendid and left me wanting more. The fruit flavors were vibrant. My personal favorite of those three is the blueberry cheesecake. Something that moved this review to a 5-star was interacting with the owner. She was fun to talk to and let me choose a free macaroon to sample. The croissant ham and cheese is a big hit but also enjoyed the bagel with pesto, cream cheese and tomato. The Apple Brie croissant was surprisingly delicious as well as I normally wouldn't pair the two on a croissant. I also LOVE the alfajores. The warmed croissant was perfect. Flaky on the outside, soft on the inside with good flavor. My large (16 oz) Americano came in an awesome oversized cup with saucer and the coffee had a nice balanced flavor -- not bitter and not weak! We also had 2 macarons, an espresso and the peanut butter and jelly. The texture was good on both however, my espresso one was quite bland. The PBJ had great flavor and tasted just as expected. We got iced coffee and some treats here today. Both were delicious, but giving them 4 stars because we chose to wear masks while inside and ordering and the woman at the register was very rude to us. Another gal disappeared. We waiting for 10 min as she made food, coffee, took another order, made another coffee, delivered food, and never once greeted us. Meanwhile the couple who came behind us had been there half the time of us and left. I waited a few more minutes and decided we would also leave. This is by far my new favorite coffee shop and bakery in Coeur d' Alene. There is no other place who has better waffles (that need no syrup or other toppings) that are completely moist, soft, and melt in your mouth. The Chai Tea Latte is the best I have ever had. Saw this new spot on Instagram....couldn't wait to try them. Cute place, centrally located to downtown shops. I had macarons which they had in many flavors. They were pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. They were a bit too chewy and a bit dry....but had good flavor. The dark chocolate was the best and then I had strawberry passion fruit and raspberry which had great tasting filling. My husband had a belgian waffle that he said was very good and if you eat it there they have various options for toppings. I had this yummy item...marshmallow meringue covered in chocolate....YUMMY!
