Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable when assisting me with choosing shoes. I often have trouble when shoe shopping, but they were very patient and found me a pair that fits better than my old ones. I expected a huge markup, but the $200 shoes I got were only $8 more than the online listing, not including tax. Granted, your mileage may vary, but $8 for the kind of service I got is a real steal! I will note that practically all of their shoes have a safety toe, since it's a work store. That's exactly what I was looking for, personally, but don't come in expecting a rack of Converse. read more

This is absolutely my favorite place to shop right now. It is like REI before REI existed. People shop here that like to spend a lot of time outdoors or have a job where they HAVE to be outdoors. I got 10 things for 200 bucks. The prices are extremely reasonable and the clothes can handle my laundry routine: throw it all in and wash the heck out of it. AND I hate going to a mall = This is definitely NOT a mall feeling. They have a great clearance section and really durable clothing. Good jackets, vests, fleece zip ups, etc. Mostly they have Woolrich and Carhartt brands. Good place to pick up Holiday gifts for the husband. Lots of gloves, hats, socks, and non-slip shoes for workers. read more

The women working here are incredible. They are quick to greet you and evaluate your needs depending on what your job is, and the environment you'll be working in. They are knowledgeable on materials and how the different pants shrink up and wear over all. Due to COVID restrictions they said inventory is hard to get sometimes, but if you need a size that's not in stock you can order it right then and there. I'm so impressed with the customer service we received tonight and just because of that we bought an extra pair of carharts and were out in half the time because of the consideration we were given. And as I looked around tonight I saw all of the workers walking fast and initiating contact with customers, so it just wasn't our helper. So impressed. read more

I was in desperate need of new boots since my old ones had worn out giving me awful foot pain. The ladies at this location worked with me to make sure I was able to have a good shopping experience. I know this is light on details, however the best I can say, is these employees these granted me a special exception when they didn't have to. Just try to return something here and see how lousy their customer service is. Yes, I get that there are probably people out there who take advantage of businesses but when you're not one of them and have purchased something that has flaws you shouldn't be made to feel like a criminal for wanting to return it. This was not the first time it's happened but it will be the last. We're not purchasing from here again. read more

Went to this store, in Lynnwood, to get my husband all set up for work this year. There were 3 employees on duty and 3 customers (Counting my husband and I) and we arrived right at the opening of business. Upon entering the employees were loudly discussing a customer's order very loudly throughout the store and making bullying type comments about his size and if he could "even make it in to pick up his jeans", which I found less than professional. But the real kicker is after spending about 45 minutes in the store and making a ready to purchase pile at the counter with the clerk, I asked to use the restroom and was very coldly told that I could go up the street in either direction about a mile or so and see if the McDonald's or a gas station would let me use the restroom. They have a strict no public restroom use...um, what? This is a clothing store where people are going to spend a bit of time most often, not to mention we had already racked up about $400 worth of merchandise to purchase. As soon as I asked they begin to treat me like I was a trouble-seeking individual. I tried to speak to the manager and explain to her that this was somewhat of an emergency and I would truly appreciate the ability to use the restroom, and again was asked to drive out of the area to use a bathroom. So, that's exactly what we did....we left all of our merchandise at the register and left. I drove North to the Whistle Work Wear location where they were not only welcoming, helpful, and professional, but also have bathrooms for the patrons to use. We ended up spending nearly an hour there, got everything we needed (and more) and spent about $750 in total. To sum it up, Work N' More....if you have a space that you feel is too dangerous to allow your patrons to use a restroom find a new location. If you don't feel it is reasonable to offer a restroom to patrons, re-evaluate your stance and the sales you are losing. Lastly, just be better humans. The experience here as a whole was less than savory. read more

I work as a Journeyman Glazier, I buy a lot of my work clothes online and thought I would try out this store for a new pair of work boots. I came in first thing Saturday morning and the guy that initially helped me was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Well he went back up to the front counter to help other customers then this lady showed up and hovered over me like I was going to run out of the store with the boots, I felt uncomfortable but thought it was just me. I asked about their return policy for a larger size if the boots hurt my feet, she explained company policy was no. What? really? $160 boots that I would be stuck with. Then I asked about the difference between the boots I was trying on and she explained there was no difference between the quality with $80 and the $160. Still hovering over me I packed up the 2 pair I was trying on and left. I found the same boots for $30 dollars less somewhere else. I will stick with a company who has excellent customer service, a great return policy and make me feel at home when shopping and not like a criminal. read more

I was so impressed with the Customer Service I received having recently purchase a pair of work shoes for a new job I'll be starting! What impressed me so much was how willing the sales gal was in getting me just the right shoe I need for my myriad of foot issues. It was perfect without it feeling "salesly". I had never purchased shoes at any Work 'n More Store but, I'm sure glad I did at this one! Great selection too as I have very large feet for a woman (i.e., size 10 mens....) and a few other challenges that make buying shoes very difficult. However, that was not the case and the cost was within reason. GO WORK 'N MORE!! I'm so glad you are in my own back yard!! read more

Walked in and got about arms length from what I drove there specifically to buy and was told I would have to leave my messenger bag (that also had my phone, truck keys, and some expensive tools in it) with them because it was "not allowed" in the store. Apparently someone thinks it's a great marketing idea to accuse your customers of being thieves on the first interaction you have with them, because this will definitely make them want to give you money? Yeah, no. Not that I got to browse more than three seconds, but whatever they sell, I am sure you can buy it somewhere else locally (or online) from someone who actually is glad to have you as a customer. read more

I have been buying my style of work gloves (and other products, socks, safety vests, etc.) here since 1994 or so. They then one day years and years ago quit carrying them. They said they could get them still for me, but I would have to buy them by the case. They were then very helpful in always getting me a case of them when I needed them, and extended a case price to me and had me listed in "the three ring binder" under their counter on my pricing for them. After 20 years of doing this for me, I walked in to order yet another case. No one knew me. No one could find the very thick three ring binder and the employee said she would look into getting me a case and getting me pricing. In theory, simply just starting over, which was fine, I just needed the gloves. They never called back after some time so I recontacted. They stated they could not get the gloves for me anymore (?). I went online, found the same gloves, ordered and had them shipped, and all for a lower price then I was paying. But here is my actual complaint. If in today's world of dieing brick and mortar locations to the world of internet, why was I denied a case of gloves that they could have ordered just like I was able to do, still make a per glove profit, and keep a loyal happy customer ? I contacted upper management at Work N More's headquarters to let them know what the Lynnwood location had done, and that person echoed that they could not do that. Huh ? Ok. I save money. You lose business. That's the spirit ! I highly recommend that this company watches the video "Give Em The Pickle" by Bob Farrell. read more
