Top notch experience from start to finish. Got in touch with Alex initially regarding an accident where another party hit my vehicle. Alex was very communicative and kept me in touch with all the details/timeframes throughout the process. He kept timely/constant updates with the insurance and made sure my rental car situation was smooth. Also top notch customer service by Yusef. Very kind and respectful gentleman who answered all of my questions. Yusef also went above and beyond... There was an out-of-the-blue mishap with my vehicle when I left the shop (skid plate somehow fell off AS I was driving, hanging on by 1 washer --- later on it was apparent that this was entirely unrelated to the reason I brought in the car). I was pulled over on the side of the road, frantic and calling Yusef to see if there was anything that he could do to help (at the time I had no idea if it was related to the repairs that were just done, so naturally this was my first thinking to call Yusef). At this time, Yusef was already off the clock, however he very kindly offered to meet me where I was pulled over, in order for him to help in any way he could. He went under my vehicle, was able to fully remove the skid plate, which allowed me to drive safely back to the shop (with Yusef following). Unbeknownst to me, Yusef had already notified his mechanic (when Yusef was on the way to me) to prepare to fix my vehicle. Yusef, the mechanic, and Yusef's father all stayed overtime to make sure the skid plate was fixed, even though it was unrelated to the original repairs. I came in to check it out and Alex Michel really wanted me to drop off my car without inspecting it and quoting 3 weeks. He said they don't paint the cars but there is a menu that shows they paint. All the redflags were going off in my head about the quality of their service. They may be worth the value but I won't be giving them my business after this experience. Also, I asked for a quote and Alex said he emailed me but I didn't receive that email until 8 hours later. I recently got rear ended and my insurance recommended world auto body. If I could leave no stars I would. I'm brought my car here because it was approved my insurance. My car door had been hit in a parking lot and I needed the outer panel to be replaced. I was immediately thrown off when the guy told me the whole door had to be replaced, he tried to make me seem stupid telling my how he's been a mechanic for 40+ years and he guarantees the whole door must be replaced by law cuz the support beam inside was damaged. I was told due to parts on back order it would be minimum 3 weeks. When they finished early, due to NOT having replaced the whole door and I was out of town I got called almost every day and they told the car rental company I needed to pick up my car. When I got my car, not only did I have battery problems but I could see my intake had been removed and put back in with no clips, REMINDER IT WAS MY OUTER DOOR PANEL THAT WAS BEING REPLACED. I wouldn't recommend this store and I don't understand why all the insurance companies send you here. read more

Terrible repair shop I bought in my car for repair and Alex was so rude and dismissive. I informed him of the areas of damage and left the car for repair. Not only were the area not fixed, but he never once called to update me regarding the status and claimed he had the wrong number on file. I called at least 3 time you would think they would have a correct number after my consistent requests for information. Somehow things got even worse since my last review Long story short- A week later, a piece of the new bumper just fell off. More miscommunications, more trips to the shop, more wrong parts ordered, and more promised phone calls that never came, to eventually just "click" the piece back onto my car. I asked if they should secure it and was reassured it just clicks in and was secure this time. Welp it fell off AGAIN and now here I am looking for a new shop to re-do the whole job altogether. My mother had her car towed here after an accident to be (hopefully) repaired. It has been nothing but a nightmare. They were rude to her on the phone when she called for help and then a rude representative named Marshall hung up on her State Farm agent saying "We don't talk to you guys,". My mom decided to take her business elsewhere and they decided to hold her car until they could get paid for the car being there, so her car waited until State Farm paid what is essentially extortion money. When I got into a minor accident, they took me in right away and gave me a quote. They were fast and reliable. One star off because they said it'll be ready Friday but when I called Friday afternoon, they didn't know about the status of my car and told me to call the next morning. This company did the worst job ever. I did not want to write a review, but this is crazy. To begin, They had my car for a month. I just picked the car up today, but I was told yesterday the car was ready. So I took time on my lunch break to find someone willing to drive me to get the car and when I got there the person in the shop said that the car was not ready because they needed to wash the car. I could have washed the car myself! When I get the car today it was never washed. In fact, the inside of my car has dirt marks as if someone put their dirty shoe or it could be some other tread mark on the inside of my door. Also, the inside panel to my car is not attached! That was not even part of the problem! WHY is that part missing when it had nothing to do with the actual repair that was done to the car. Also, I knew I had one tire with a slow leak. I anticipated that and I was able to look at the car and see that tire was flat so I pumped air into the tire before taking off. BUT WHY WERE MY OTHER 3 TIRES FLAT TOO?!? that is completely unprofessional. 4 FLAT TIRES?!? I came during my lunch break, and I only work about a mile away from the shop, but I had to pull over to a gas station and pump air into my other tires too. I was not expecting that I needed to take the extra time to stop so that made me late coming back on my lunch break. I ONLY WORK ABOUT A MILE AWAY FROM THE SHOP. I BARELY PULLED OUT OF THEIR DRIVEWAY BEFORE NOTICING THAT I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY STOP BECAUSE MY TIRES WERE SO FLAT AND MY CAR WAS SHAKING SO BAD! HOW DOES A SHOP LET A CUSTOMER DRIVE AWAY KNOWING THAT THE CAR HAS 4 FLAT TIRES! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Also, when I first sent my car in a month ago, I called and specifically asked if they can look at another issue that I had with the door. I called about this issue 4 times over the last month and I find out the day I am picking up my car that they never even looked at the issue! When I told them that I was assured 3 times by one of their employees that they were going to look into it, they mentioned they were having trouble with their employees and one of their employees just quit. This company is very unprofessional, they do not take responsibility for their actions, and I will never be taking my car back there again. This is the best Auto Repair Shop experience I've had in San Diego! The staff are so friendly and service is really quick. I got into a collision that tore off some parts from my car, but they were able to get that all fixed within a week! On top of that, they also wiped down my mats which I was not expecting. My mats were really dirty because I had just driven down from Mammoth and the collision happened on the road trip back home so I didn't have time to wash my car. I've had repairs (from other shops) in the past and it would take at least 2 weeks so I really appreciate how prompt World Auto Body is. I have a 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport and as a new car owner, we don't want anything happening to our babies and it can be a bit worrisome to know that it's in other people's hands. Robert came out and looked at it and told me "I don't recommend painting it" and instead he said it would be better to sand it and smooth it out. And to my shock, he told me to pull around and he would do it right then in there. Robert and Roman worked on the car for a while and even fixed a few other spots I didn't see. I cannot say enough about these people. They saved my beloved car. tl;dr - Passenger side door was smashed, had no idea how they'd ever fix it. I got my car back looking like new. I was hesitant - everyone recommended me calling around, since getting my car repaired was no small deal. Nightmares of bent frames and mismatched paint colors swirling in my head, I called. I called multiple places, and World Auto body was by far the nicest and most informative. I spoke to Alex, and he not only assured me of the care they took in their work, their method of matching paint color exactly, but also their guarantee on their handiwork. Dropping off my car was just as easy - they were patient, kind, got my paperwork sorted out, spoke with the insurance company and sent me on my way. They promised to take care of my car and gave me a free ride to the rental car place to boot. After a few weeks I got my car back, beautiful and brand new. I can't even tell it was in a wreck - and I really, really looked. They even cleaned it thoroughly inside and out. My car looks wonderful and drives like a dream, as though nothing had ever happened. I was very disappointed in work this body shot produced. They only protect themselves rather then their customers. My car was hit in rear in middle but only the left was damaged. The vehicle has two bumper but when they only repair replace left bumper because and right was damage. These bumpers were black it very obvious between and old. I have add the body shop contact the insurance and both sides needed to be repair to even and nice. They refused to contact the insurance to repair the other bumpers so that look and even. The work look like shit because the two don't match because one new and other is old. They don't care about coming out their shop. It's about money! The manager even got personal with me and I told him attitude such and he learn about customer service. First off Paul is the man! When I tell you about good energy, it's because honest people tend to glow with it. Upon meeting Paul for the initial estimate. I felt I was in the right place for the cars body repair. Paul being so polite and kind, sort of makes you forget why you went there as most shops do not have people that glow with honesty, from the get go. Paul did not miss anything as far as damages were concerned and the overall findings. Anal with attention to detail and precisely the best at it. He takes it in and he evaluates the finished work for mistakes and 9/10 you probably won't find any. The shop is full of skilled labor personnel. People who are encouraged to do a fantastic job, the very first time around. I like it. I was never concerned for the car at the shop I was only concerned how long it would take to get them the parts. Totally out of their control. Corona did a number of things to that sector in particular. So try not get into any accidents. Depending on the car Yr make and model you might have to wait for parts. In case it happens, be sure to be in the care of World Autobody for your Autobody repairs. The trust is there. The give a dam is there most of all the quality is unmatched. I've been in many automotive accidents and this is the best darn shop in the business. If you knew me, you'd be running over there because you know if the service was bad, I would say so. My car was in a hit and run. Prior to that I had a few scratches and small dents. They gave me an estimate for repairs on everything and billed my insurance for the total. I paid my deductible and when I pick up my car the dents were still there. When I asked about the other work they said I had to make another claim. However, the original quote and what was billed to insurance included every nook and cranny. Looks to me like they are committing insurance fraud. Beware! read more

My Subaru Forester had a dent on the rear bumper. The insurance company GEICO recommended the repairs at world auto body, but it was mistake to use them because quality was very bad. Went back five times due not satisfactory with the result. First the new bumper did not fit and was loose and not aligned. Second time scratches in the newly paint bumper. Third, fourth and fifth time there were droplets/dirt in the painted bumper. After fifth time they did not want to fix the issue, and forced me to pay the cost. Im very disappointed with quality control. Alex does not examine end result and considers droplet/dirt in paint as normal. read more
