When I moved into a new condo I couldn't figure out my mesh network system and Garen offered to stop by to do a free consultation. When he came, he spent nearly an hour investigating my network box and detecting all the ports in my house. I would give 10 stars if I could. Moved into a new home and had a problem with the existing wireless mesh system where I was getting extremely slow internet on a different floor. Garen came by the next day (on a Sunday) and ran all kinds of tests to locate the problem. I need to run Ethernet throughout my home and reached out to a few services on Yelp. However, after reading the stellar reviews of Garen's services, I decided to go with him and so happy I did. Garen was on it. He reached out to me almost instantly on Yelp to understand what I was looking for. My home was setup on Google Mesh -- a wifi network that I had heard from others was not really a good system to have but still, it was easy and I delt with it. Garen didn't put pressure on me to switch but after he explained the difference to me in capabilities, I was on board to upgrade to a Uni-fi system throughout my house and yard. However, the installation was not without it's hitches. My house had something in it's depths that didn't allow for the wifi signal to pass through (although my old Google Mesh system found it's way). This led us to have to change course from the original setup and I needed to add another wifi transponder to the original quote. But honestly, I didn't mind because the amount of effort that I saw Garen go through to try and stick to his original price was tremendous. In the end, I could have Mickey-moused a solution, or spend an additional $150 to have Garen do it right. I chose the latter and now have a system that is far superior than the one that I previously had. Additionally, Garen came out two more times to check on the system and install two security cameras that I had been putting off for years. He went out of his way to run the cables in a neat and tidy way that are barely visible. He even supplied a switch and ran extra cables so I would have options down the road at no extra charge. He knew all the web-app interfaces and walked me through each setup to ensure that I understand how to use them then handed the keys (IE all the admin privileges) over to me. I understand some companies or individuals keep WorldWide Tech as an admin but I asked for Garen to remove it's privileges for privacy and security and he did so easily and with no hesitations. All in all, Garen and WorldWide Tech is a highly-reliable, friendly, and trustworthy company that I would recommend to others. I especially appreciate the personal care that he gave to my home and this project and as a sign of appreciation, I gave him a little extra for his over-and-above efforts with this project.
