Definitely one of my favorite poke places in Orange County. It's in a very business part of town where it is surrounded by offices, but don't be fooled by its location. They serve legit poke and provide you with ample toppings. You can get everything from ginger, avocado, wasabi all added on to your bowl or sesame wrap without any charge! I always go for three fish in my bowl. I'm not sure what the limit is but I wouldn't be surprised if you can ask for more without additional add on charges. They mix their poke with their sauce for you and then add it in with the rest. The flavor is spot on and the service is always quick. There aren't many places to sit and eat inside but they have plenty of outdoor seating. Great place for lunch! read more

DO NOT order through Eat24. Sat there waiting for my order while the dude who just came and waited in line after I arrived was out the door before me. Their back kitchen is a hot mess. When I arrived, they hadn't even printed my order from Eat24 to add to their production line. Also, several toppings looked like they were missing from the Eat24 menu (like seaweed salad). Maybe people who had a better experience put in their orders an hour well before coming in, I have no idea. I really wanted to like this place but I don't. All good, there's no shortage of food in the area anyways. In regards to the food quality, fish is very average. Definitely fishy. Tuna is like 90% sinew. Same with albacore. Fake crab meat smells really odd. They forgot the wasabi I asked for. (Seriously if you must eat there just don't freakin order through Eat24) Honestly if you think this place has good fish, your standards are so skewed please do yourself a favor and try bear flag some time. 1 star for being able to get the $2 Eat24 discount, and one for the sizeable scoop of avocado. MMMMMMMM......a poke bowl place close to my work? Yes please, thank you. So far I've tried the regular poke bowl and the poke burrito here and both are delicious. Personally I like the poke bowl better because it's easier to eat, but the burrito is just as satisfying. It's similar to Pokinometry where they allow you to choose everything in a subway kind of manner and the workers are extremely efficient in getting your order completed. This place gets busy during lunch hours because it's by so many businesses so if you're planning on getting in and out it's best to order online. If you order online you can walk straight to the register and beat the long line (wahooo). Keep in mind that they charge $.50 for card no matter how much you're planning on spending. Also if the regular poke bowl doesn't cut it for you (3 types of fish) they have a monster bowl option that allows you to pick 5 fish and you get two scoops of crab meat instead of one. read more

I love coming here whenever I'm craving poki ! Things to know before you come here! 1. During lunch the line is usually out the door, but the wait isn't bad at all. 2. You can get a regular poki bowl for $8 or monster bowl for $11. 3. You can also order online so when you get there, you can just pick it up without waiting. 4. Located in a place that might seem odd in the beginning, but it's actually great for people who work around the area. I normally get the regular bowl, but it's never filling :( I wish the scoops were bigger when they distribute the fish in the bowl. The fish quality isn't bad, but definitely not the best. The best poke place in my opinion. I have only enjoyed poke in the contiguous United States so I have a limited opinion but Orange County has dozens of year. I'm very pleased with toppings and fish selection. Additionally their sauces are great, and offer a simple choice of spice level. The people who work there are very friendly and come to recognize regulars so that's well appreciated. Lastly, they are aware of trends. Simple and delicious!! Definitely coming back! Same concept as pokinometry but the difference is the quality of the fish. Wow bento's quality is or seems sooo much better than pokinometry! Wow bento is very small space wise but the poke bowls were tasty and surprisingly, fresh!! I had salmon and spicy tuna and got extra scoops of salmon. I'm not sure if they charge for the extra scoops of salmon. Comes with miso soup! :) My only gripe is that they seem to skimp on the fish!! We're here for the fish! Anyways, my 12 year old cousin loved the concept and the bowl! He wanted more after he finished! It's not hard to find because they have a huge "sushi" sign up front in yellow and red! This is a review on their service. The hours posted on the door says that it closes at 6pm. I arrive there at 5:45pm and everything is put away and the lady looks at the clock then looks at me to tell me that they are closed clearly when the sign says something different. Gave them another chance and ordered online at 5:35pm and went to go pick it up. They were surprised when I arrived to pick up the online order. Everything packed away and again, closing early and the lady was irritated and pissed off about our order. As a long time customer, I'm disappointed in this type of service. Oh Wow.....I'm hooked! The Monster Poke Bowl is amazing. You get four different fish selections. I chose spicy tuna and regular tuna. Half brown rice and half white rice. The toppings of crab and avocado were fresh and plentyful. With my eyes being bigger than my stomach I could not finish the entire dish. Oh but not for the lack of trying. It was amazing and fresh as can be. The restaurant is small and tucked away in a business complex. The only way to know about it is through word of mouth or Yelp. FREAKING. YUM. I was craving Poke, but I didn't want to drive down to my normal place all the way down off Avery. So I Googled "Poke Irvine", and this little gem popped up - 1.9 miles from my office. SCORE! I ordered and paid ahead of time online and was in & out in 2 minutes. I would eat here daily if I could, but the way my bank account is set up... How it works is you pick the type of bowl you want (poke bowl, salad, wrap, nacho) and what type of seafood you want on it, then what toppings/sauces you want on top of that. You'll also let them know how spicy you want it. After you pick all the goodies you want, they'll mix all that goodness together and there you go! An amazing meal. I got the salmon and spicy tuna poke bowl. There are great other options such as octopus, albacore, and scallops. Pick what your heart desires. I topped it wasabi, ginger, masago, and green onion. The bowl was perfection. The line when I went on a Friday afternoon wasn't too long either. There are plenty of tables outside for you and some of your coworkers to hang around and eat a meal together. I have no complaints about this place. This place is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant . It is pretty much a small shop in a business looking plaza . I was confused when I got to the location at first . The lot is pretty big so you parking won't be too big of an issue. Just look for the tables with the umbrellas. I usually get the monster bowl which means you can pick up to 5 fish toppings. The regular bowl let's you pick up to three. I usually get two scoops of spicy tuna, one tuna, one albacore, and one shrimp with everything on it. They do allow for customization to your bowl but not much choice for sauce and spiciness . There is very limited seating and if you go during prime hours the lines can get pretty long . Definitely call in ahead of time if you are planning to come during rush hours. read more

I have been here over 25 times and my review is based off of all of those visits. The food is great and I am very happy with the quantity that I get for my money. I enjoy the location as it is close to my work but not in a heavily trafficked area. All of the staff is friendly, especially John. His customer service skills are spot on! And, something very important to me, they are CLEAN. They use new gloves and a new bowl (to mix) for every order. I have had multiple orders and told them they can use the same ones. This place is really good! Since it's only open weekdays, it's a very Office Lunch Break type of place. The lines get long around 12, so either come early or come late. The food is really good! The selection can be a little bit limited, as they don't have as many options as other poke places in the area, but what they do have is bomb! They have their monster bowl (5 scoops of fish vs 3 scoops for regular bowl) priced at $11. Overall decent deal. There's no customization for sauce really aside from level of spiciness. Wow! This place is really good! I don't like that it's very small inside. It's pretty much grab your food and go and if you do stay it's about 10 chairs for seating. I almost don't want people to find out about this business complex hideaway because I love it so much. I try all the poke places in Orange County and this is honestly the place I visit most often. It's takeout style, but I love it. Why? Because they make it easy to eat. Although I respect the more traditional Asian style that places like Lovfish in Garden Grove do, I prefer is: A white rice poke bowl of tuna, avocado, crabmeat, spicy sauce, and all the extras to be eaten with: -a fork -a nice mixed fish and condiment pile -enough room in the bowl for me to grab rice, avocado, fish, crabmeat, etc. all in one bite It seems silly, but many poke bowls that are separated bug me. And Wow Bento's "medium spicy" is perfection. All around a good choice if you're passing by Lake Forest on the 5 freeway. read more

I love love love this place. It's extremely small and in a random location amidst other business buildings. Nonetheless, they have a good food assembly line going on so you get your food pretty fast despite the long lines. I would say the food quality is pretty good for the price. After reading Yelp reviews, we decided to try it out since it's close to home. It's Korean owned, not Japanese. The fish looked fresh but after all the sauces, you can't really taste it. The toppings were good; got crab meat, sliced cucumbers, avocado. My major complaint is the rice. Not only is it plain regular rice, but I was a bit hard and undercooked. You can't serve a poke bowl without using sushi rice!!! It just didn't taste the same. Lacked the texture, flavor, and sweetness that comes with sushi rice. Let me start. Customer service 5 star. Placed an order via eat24 at 552 pm didn't realize that they closed at 6 pm. Called them asking if they want to cancel or wait, they waited for me. I got lost (imported wrong address) I didn't get to there place til 632 pm felt bad and they were cool waiting outside with my order. Poke is a good size bowl for $8. Awesome little place! This place is just a bit from the freeway, hidden with in a business district. That being said there isn't too much parking, and the place itself is kinda of small. When I arrived with my girlfriend there was no one else there. They have very little space to eat inside but also have a couple of tables on the outside. We ordered the Monster poke bowl, running us about 11 dollars. This got us a large bowl of rice, topped with 5 different types of fish (we got octopus, salmon, tuna, albacore, and scallop). We also got avocado, imitation crab, masago, and whole bunch of other poke bowl toppings! It was all quite delicious and the staff was very friendly! We had a great lunch at Wow Bento. I love the custom poke bowls and that they don't charge you extra for anything (up to 4 extras and that's plenty). If you order everything on your bowl (or wrap or salad), it's the same price, unlike other poke places (North Shore Poke Co in HB) where if you add anything to your rice and fish, it costs $1 per item. So by the time you get everything you want, your bowl costs like $15 for a small order. At Wow Bento, you can have avocado, ginger, roe, crab, etc. and it's 9 bucks. The fish is fresh and tasty and I like the sauces. My son ordered the wrap and he absolutely loved it. He would eat here every day if he could. Service is friendly and efficient. I wish they would use more recyclable bowls/serving dishes. I'm a fan. read more

Great service. Came here after craving Oke Poke (all the way in chino hills). They don't have any marinated poki but their ponzu/sesame sauce is delicious. Manager sent out complimentary grilled salmon slice which I really appreciated - shows their level of dedication to appeasing customers as sushi can sometimes be a pricier option for lunch. Also love the fact they have tamago, octopus, and tofu as other options instead of the regular tuna/salmon/etc for my friends who don't eat raw fish. Taste wise, they are probably my favorite poke place in OC. The fish is really fresh and everything is seasoned very well without any one flavor being overwhelming. Some places put too much ponzu in their sauce for my taste. The only reasons I gave them 4 stars instead of 5: - The restaurant is VERY small, but also VERY busy. If you plan on coming here during peak lunch hours, it's a good idea to order ahead online. Because they are very busy, it is hard to find parking in the small lot which can be frustrating. I love that there's a poke place on my way home from work, but honestly, this spot is only okay. Wow Bento is located in a business park next to an automall in Irvine. It's a little hidden, but you can see signs pointing you to its direction. I love that they have a subway/chipotle style set up where you can pick your fish and then the toppings. I got the poke bowl with 2 salmon scoops and 1 tuna scoop in a ponzu sauce (mild). I love spicy food, but the other spice levels use the spicy mayo, and I don't like my poke in a creamy sauce. I had all the toppings. Although I am rating this spot a 3-star, I will be coming back due to convenience and price. It's just not the best poke I've had. read more
