She also helped me fix it when I wanted more lashes at the corner. The set ended up pretty and light which didn't damage my weak lashes. Karen is my go to lash artist, I am really sensitive to most lash glues which I told Karen at the start and she was able to work with me to find a glue that doesn't irritate my eyes. She works very meticulously and is extremely gentle whenever I get a lash fill. She makes sure I am comfortable and set up so I can take a nice nap while she works her magic! She's always working with me to increase my lash retention as well as giving me recommendations on after care such as lash shampoo brands and how to properly wash my lashes. I got my ombré powder eyebrows done by Linh and I could not be any happier! I never really thought about getting permanent make up done until I saw Linh's work. From the moment I went in to inquire about an appointment, till the end of my aftercare, she was texting me and checking up on me every step of the way. However, after my appointment ended, I saw the same nail technician take a walk-in client. That made me feel that the explanation I was given was not the real reason my requested design was declined. What bothered me most was the inconsistency. On a previous visit, I arrived on time and still waited nearly 20 minutes to be seen. Apparently, it's acceptable for clients to wait, but if a client is running behind, they lose the ability to choose the service they came in for. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable, and I felt rushed rather than welcomed. Getting your nails done should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience, not one where you feel like you're being pushed through so the next client can be taken. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and undervalued as a customer. Based on my experience, I will not be returning. Do not go there !

Melanie at NOVAbrows was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was totally understanding about my situation--when my oncologist initially said no to the procedure, Melanie canceled my appointment and very kindly refunded my deposit; then, when my drug regimen changed and microblading was approved, she was able to fit me back in. She was a delight to work with, extremely professional, and did a great job on my brows. It was nice having "glam brows" for a little while before losing every one of my eyebrow hairs. I'm so glad I didn't even have to think about how I would look without eyebrows. It was a huge morale boost for me, especially not having hair on my head.
