So this place is close to home. The atmosphere on Fri and Sat night is awesome - live music, outdoor seating, great weather, playground for those with kids - love it! The staff are always super friendly but worked too hard. We were seated for 20 minutes before anyone asked for our beverage order. We waited another 25 minutes after we got our drinks (they were brought by a waitress so overworked she didn't even stop) to have anybody check on us, much less get our order. Once we got our food - things were good. The food is always good and organic. The fried pickle spears with chipotle ranch were delicious as always. I had the Rattlesnake Burger which is a great burger topped with 1 besos caliente, cilantro, bacon, jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. Very tasty. My wife had Santa Fe Wrap which had pepper jack, black beans, corn, rice, chipotle spread and meat. Also very tasty. Honestly, if it weren't that this place as close to home, the food wasn't so great and the vibe good, we wouldn't come back because you have to plan to spend 2 hours for a simple dinner, which I just don't do many places. Came in for a quick lunch with the hubby. The waitress at the bar was nice. We both hd tea and it was good nothing special. My husband had the 46 burger wrap. It was ok. The sauce tasted like thousand island. Nothing made it special. The menu stated it came with fries, but he didn't get any. I ordered the Hollywood taco. The shredded chicken was GREAT. The price for what I got was high. Just a normal sized taco you would make at home. The tortilla tasted like an H‑E‑B tortilla, not bad just ok. The meat was topped with a few kernels of corn and fresh diced jalapeño. The verde sauce was mediocre. Again nothing special. I added fries to my order and they were good, Very crispy. They were out of fried pickles which was a huge let down since it was one of the reasons we chose to give this place a shot, but I'm not holding it against them with the supply shortages going on right now. Sadly this establishment has gone downhill. The food is still good so if you can overlook other issues, then you won't be disappointed. We were somewhat regulars and were used to having table service.....however when we stopped by a couple of weeks ago we were rudely informed that: NOPE. You can order HERE (lady pointing at a bar outside) or in THERE. Which is fine, but based on the question I asked, one would infer that we had been there before and the process had changed. So we order inside and the girl behind the bar seemed like she would rather be having dental work done than being at work. I get it, we all have bad days but here we are on employee #2 with a bad attitude in this single visit. And then....THE FLIES. We made the mistake of sitting outside and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was like we sat next to a garbage can bin in a dog park. I'm fine with some insect action when I'm outside but this was ridiculous. I ate half my wrap and was so grossed out I asked for a to go box hoping I could finish it later in a more appealing environment. Needless to say we won't be returning. read more

Yes, small bar, but very adequate, plenty of tables to sit inside, and outside. Craving a burger, but not wanting the bun, started reviewing the wraps. My husband and I both ordered wraps and a order of onion rings. My Santa Fe with ground beef was wonderful, the cheese was creamy, the beef tender with just a hint of spice. My husband enjoyed the Alamo wrap and it disappeared. OH, don't let me forget the salsa she gives you with the wrap, I don't remember what it was but it was super with kick! The onion rings we shared (small order), was the perfect amount for two people, they were fresh and hot! We are not dippers, so we did not take Heidi up on the sauces she offered for the rings. A bit pricey, didn't realize the fries and drink were not included with my already $10 burger wrap. I side dining is small, maybe enough for about 15 people to sit and maybe 8 seats at the bar. Outside had more seating and a play area. Nice atmosphere, very shady. I have been trying to come to this place for more than a year, three times I've called (no answer) and still drive by (out of the way) to try and eat here but they were closed even though it was during business hours. These folks are friendly! I'd venture to say they have the best burgers in Texas. They also have a shaded play area for kids with climbing equipment, kids cornhole and other games. So far I've had the maverick and the big kahuna burgers... both options were delicious and were cooked just right every time (I hate when burgers are over cooked). I wish I would have taken a picture before I devoured them lol. They have some of the best onion rings out of most places we've tried and fresh crispy fries. Live music line up during spring, summer, and I think into fall on Friday's and Saturday's. The cornhole and play area keep the kiddos busy which is awesome because the kids can work up an appetite while waiting for the food to come out.
