Found this gem while treating a Veteran to a lunch on Veterans Day. It's a nice small indoor/large outdoor restaurant. Upon arrival parking was easy and they have plenty of room. You can see a lot of picnic tables and small playground set. I'm giving 3 stars because the lady who took our order was super rude. I would ask a question and it was met with so much attitude and unwillingness to help. If it wasn't for me treating a friend to lunch I would have completely walked away from this place. The bright side was that the food turned out really good. We split an order of sweet potato fries bc it's a huge serving. I ordered the Santa Fe wrap which is Pepper Jack, black beans, corn, rice, chipotle spread with avocado (vegetarian option). It was really pleasing, wrap done right. If I could give half stars, I would give this place 3.5, but it just didn't deserve 4 stars. The staff was nice. They weren't wearing masks or gloves, so keep that in mine when going. The had a little park thing and a bunch of outside seating, so it's great if you have a family! We didn't get to try any of the beers. The Cali club was good, but there was nothing special about it. The maverick was good but again, there was nothing special about it. The loaded fries were good, but it wasn't as presentable as I could make it myself at home. I think I'm in love. This place has such good food. Mostly out door seating which was nice, today the weather was just right. They have a ton of shade and I hear they have live music on the weekends. I saw this place when I drove by and thought cool a place where my kids can play (they have a playground) and I can have a beer. Michelada was sooo good best iv had yet at a restaurant. Tried this place for the first time with my girls ! It was good atmosphere! Live music ! Everyone was so nice ! The lady taking our orders were super helpful on helping us choose what to order which is how I discovered the delicious mango beer ! Can't remember the exact name . Food was good ,price was a little bit much. Jalapeños were HOT! But had good flavor to it ! The burgers and wraps were good also! Fried pickles could've been better , I think they were cooked to long . Definitely recommend a order of fries ! Delicious! We've been here many times. Food is always good. Live music is fun. Great place for kids. I do not recommend getting to go orders when they are busy. They don't expedite to go orders and ours has taken an hour before. Only order when you plan on staying to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. read more

The wife and I stopped in for lunch. My first time here; her second. Smallish dining room. Maybe 5 tables and a small bar area. Outside are a number of tables and live music (and flies). Initially we sat at a table outside but neither wanted to battle the flies and the Texas heat so we relocated inside. It was pleasant inside. Country music playing overhead and rustic decor. You have to order outside which I found a little odd since the woman taking our order was working the bar inside and had to follow me out to take the order, but I'm sure there is a good reason behind the oddity. The two very pleasant women working the front of this place kept up with the kitchen easily. I ordered the Rattlesnake Burger and the wife, the Maverick. Burgers don't come with fries the large basket of sweet potato fries was split between the two of us. With a drink and tip it was $45+. The drinks were not your typical Coke,Pepsi fountain drinks. These syrups were Maine & Root...I had the sweet tea. Within a perfectly reasonable time our order arrived with a smile. Large burgers. I tilted the lid on mine and a grilled, stuffed, and cheese coated jalapeno lay atop my beef patty. Boy was I happy. Burgers were very tasty. Great flavors. I'm not a huge Chipolte fan but the sauce worked with the jalapeno which wasn't super spicy - seeds removed. Maverick, meet Ice Man - the wife devoured her burger. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Very pleased with the first experience. Definately will put this place in the rotation of local restaurants to patron. This was the 1st meal while in Texas, and we dare say it was superb. The guy running the restaurant was super chill and energetic. The atmosphere was relaxing with the eclectic decor. The hubs had the burger wrap while I had 3 tacos (pork, asada, and avutarian). We also shared the half-loaded fries. The fries were amazing! Usually with these types of dishes, the fries become soggy or aren't even crispy to begin with. These had a crunch even to the last few pieces. And not to mention, it was loaded with a lot of beef and bacon pieces. What a value for the amount of meat that's in it. His burger wrap was seriously da bomb. All the 46 sauce and ingredients stuffed inside the wrap was just oozing outwards. The wrap consisted of beef, bacon bits, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions -- pretty much what a burger is. Biting into this was a wowing moment. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My tacos were okay. They weren't superb (standard lettuce, cheese, lime, and tomatillo salsa). I wouldn't rec it as this place isn't known for their tacos: * Asada: The avocados were creamy. This was prob the freshest and tastiest of the 3 tacos. * Avutarian: The flavors were faint at most. There wasn't much wow or anything that made this taco look nor taste diff. * Pork: The flavors were lacking, and the pork looked super bland (see the only close-up pic worth taking). Everything about this experience was 5 stars minus my taco choices. The loaded fries and burger wrap were just mind-blowing delicious and at a great price. They took our money and promised food but they weren't open! The online system took our order and charged our card, but when we went to pick it up, there was absolutely no one there. Everything was dark and shut up tight( even though online it said they were open) with no sign or anything. We have repeatedly phoned them to check but they don't answer. While we figured out what to do, several other cars pulled up to pick up their online order, but of course, no one was there. Very unprofessional of them and disappointing. After I reached out to my community, I found out this is actually a very common thing, so I don't understand how they can remain in business. Stopped here while traveling through and it was conveniently located off the HWY. Our first time here and this is a place where you seat yourself and order at the counter. The venue is really neat & relaxing area. Has a mini playground for the kids if need they need to stretch their legs, also had a guy playing some great music as well, has a cornhole area --pretty kewl. The bathrooms were clean as well. This place has different beer options, liquor and menu options from burgers, wraps, salads, tacos, fries, onion rings, fried pickle spears, hummus and kids menu. Wife had the Big Kahuna burger with fries. She liked it but couldn't finish it all. I had the Y'all American burger. We have visited Wraptitude a number of times and never had a complaint. The food and service have always been great. This past Sunday with my family of 6 we were charged a large party fee of $18.83. When asked about the charge, I was told it was a "industry standard" since there was concern for no tipping. I can understand if this was a full service establishment, but you order at the counter and get your own drinks. Personally this is ridiculous and seriously thinking of not returning. I guess one alternative would be to order one at time to avoid a large party charge. read more

This place is decent. It was quite busy even after 1 p.m. and tables were hard to find. We finally did get a table, but felt bad for the waiter who seemed like he was serving multiple tables and working his butt off! We stopped by after spending the morning at Natural Bridge caverns. We ordered a few burger wraps, chicken strips, and the surf burger from the kids menus. The food was really tasty and fries were delicious. The main issue here was that they seemed to be understaffed and weren't set up very well for social distancing. They have a very small seating area and bar inside and several picnic tables and outdoor seating options. While you can spread out just fine outside, you have to go inside of the crowded small building to place your order. It was a very small space with too many people inside close together. Also, the fountain drinks and cups were self-serve set up right next to where everyone was standing. If they had online or outside ordering so that you could avoid going inside, it would really improve things. read more

Came here with the family after doing Natural Bridge Caverns. First, be prepared to sit outside, there's not much room inside, especially during the social distancing times. However, even though it was over 90 degrees outside the shade and breeze kept it cool enough to be pleasant. Kids had a playground to okay on - though it was a bit past it's prime. The ordering seemed a bit haphazzard, which seemed to be due to only have one employee working front of house despite it being rush hour lunch time. This caused me to have to stand at the bar for considerable amounts of time waiting to order or when I went to get a beer. Hopefully this was just someone not showing up for a shift and not a perpetual issue. Now for the food. I had a Santa Fe wrap. Standard Mexican ingredients, but all together tasty. My wife's burger wrap with fries in the wrap looked quite good. Kids chicken strips were solid quality. The fries had good flavor and crunchy outsides. You won't regret it Owner/operators - always friendly, always making something new "off menu" and making it interesting. Go there more than 3-4 times they'll recognize you and start to get to know you. Atmosphere - i come here to work/study sometimes. Good place to get some good food while putting in time for the grind. Food - unique. That's all I can say. It's fun and they make it all just fit together nicely. Drawbacks: it's hard to gauge what you might like here. Perfectly nestled into the Garden Ridge hillside sits this eclectic, yet cowboy refined watering hole with one hell of a great kitchen. Many different beers on tap, and plenty more in bottle or can. Be sure to check out their roof beer fountain drinks! Live music from the outdoor stage is a nice little bonus. Seating on the inside is very limited, so make sure you get there early if you don't want to sit outside.
