I called regarding a tire to get a price the man provided the price so I said okay I will come to get the tire, this was at 7:24. My tire was completely flat I got there at 7:40 the site shows the they close 8, they where closed when I got there at 7:40. I explained that I had just called and that I drove here on my flat tire because he gave me the price and I said I was on my way and that I really need my tire change. His response was well we close and the last hour we only take appointments! If you don't do work until 8 maybe you should just close at 8 they still had 20 minutes to replace my tire but choose to tell me I would have to just come back. I will never give my business to this company, because when I explained to him on the phone that I'm on my way he should have said at that time to come in the morning. read more

Honest auto repairs. I've had them do brakes on our Honda and VW. Less expensive than the dealer or Midas, and they always have a coupon in the local paper or online. Also, they do oil changes for $15. You can wait in their small waiting area with a TV and coffee or go across the street to McDonald's. I had a more complex issue with the VW engine. They did a free diagnostic and told me that it was more than they could handle and referred me to a dealer. read more

My car was towed here after breaking down nearby. They were upfront and honest about their ability to address any Volvo-specific malady, but were willing to give it a try. The cost for work performed was extremely reasonable, and they didn't try any shady tricks. A good, honest shop. read more

Wright Tire has some very crooked mechanics. I am a young woman who looks like I know nothing about cars, and mechanics try to take advantage of that. Knowing this, I did a shake down of my suspension before bringing my car in for an alignment. I knew I had some slight play in my tie rod end, but everything else was good. When I went in for my alignment, I was told my lower control arm was broken and that I had at least an inch of movement in my lower ball joint. I was told they couldn't align my suspension without replacing the control arm, and that it would cost me almost half he value of my car. They didn't even mention the loose tie rod end, which was actually broken. I asked for my keys back and was charged $15 for a front end Check. I brought my car to my mechanic, thinking maybe something had been broken since I'd done the shake down. He told me nothing was wrong with the control arm, but that my outer tie rod was a little loose. I will never bring my car back to Wright Tire. I was lied to because I look like I don't know anything about cars and they tried to swindle me out of a lot of money for a part that was perfectly fine. Friendly folks. I have been bringing my autos there for a few years. Lately the attention to detail is very poor. I brought a truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and repair the power starting pump. Got home to find a large puddle of fluid under the vehicle only to find out they didn't test it out. In addition, my oil wasn't changed nor were the tires rotated. They did make good on everything. I'm back today getting the oil changed and their "Courtesy Check" showed all fluid levels as Full. I turned the corner and the wiper fluid level showed empty and the tranny fluid was low. Word of caution - DOUBLE CHECK THEIR WORK, ASK QUESTIONS! read more

Had a flat that needed to be looked at. Took 2 hours before it could be looked at. Which ok not a problem. I'm standing there waiting and notice they have a waiting room across the building. Really think It would have been nice to be told that. Then they finally get to my car and the mechanic comes in with my tire and says You need a new set of tires these are bald. I said yes I can see that but where is the Leak? He mechanic I don't know does not matter you need a new set of tires. I stated I need to know if the tire can be fixed. He stated nope need a new set of tires. At this point another person comes over as clearly the mechanic is raising his voice at me. Can I help you ? I state I need to know if the tire can be fixed or not before I decide I need to get a new set of tires. The other person ( I'm thinking the manager but no idea never introduced himself) well those are some bald tires not sure we could put them back on. If we fix it we can't be liable for anything if you crash or loose the tire. I stated I under stood that but I need to know where the tire is leaking at. other person tells the mechanic to go see if tire can be fixed. The mechanic comes back up and states you need new set of tires. I asked where it was leaking he stated " Does not matter you need a new set of tires." Finally after a bit of battering back in forth that I need new tires he tells me where the leak is. Side wall repair not an option. Then states See I told you have to have a new set of tires. Ok so my issue is I have waited to long and then just because I am female you think I'm stupid and you are going to demand that I have to have a new set of tires. You wont answer my question just because you think you know what is wrong. I'm sorry but 1. over priced tires, 2. Rude to females, 3 you leave a person standing for over an hour really tell them where the waiting room is. 4. Don't argue with a customer if they are just wanting answers to questions. 5. Refuses an out of town check. REALLY I live in MINNESOTA not out of state. Not everyone carries a credit card. Not everyone is willing to just call someone to pay a bill. I have never felt so disrespected in a long time. Oh and then the car had been ready for a Long time. Nobody let me know I had to ask how much longer. I was there over 4 hours trying to get a tire fixed. Ended up upset and a new set of overprized 40,000 mile tires. I would never go there again and so would not ever recommend anyone else to do that either. This is not the 18th century. I may be a female but I am smarter than your average bear. I took my van here to fix a flat. I told them I had run-on-flat tires. They said no problem. Waited for an hour, they were not able to dismount the tire from the wheel. They sent me packing to the closest dealership with a spare tire. Waste of time..... read more

Took a Pontiac G6 in for brakes and someone put the wrong fluid in the resivor and they tried to blame it on me. Not only did they ruin the entire brake system, they tried to charge me full price to fix. When I declined he locked my car in his garage until I paid him for ruining my vehicle. When I told the owner he was robbing me, he said he wouldn't do that because he is s Christian. Yes that was his response. read more

My son stopped for an alighnment on his pick up and they told him they couldn't do the alighnment because of the upper ball joints needed to be repaired first. They gave us an estimate. We had the repair done by our regular mech. The estimate was real close to the cost of the repair. There was a $15.00 charge that could be taken off the alighnment after the repair. We made another appointment. Nice place and fair. read more

We have brought two vehicles in to Wright Tire Service for a total of 4 different services. On one oil change they could not get the oil filter off and charged me full price, but the filter was not replaced. One oil change went just fine. Another time I had a radiator flush and had a tire with a leak looked at. The radiator flush went fine. However, when I left, the minute I hit 55 mph all of the warning lights in my car came on. I returned immediately, but the warning lights had reset themselves when I turned the car off. I left again - and again at 55 mph the warning lights came on. Turns out they put the wrong tire on my car - it was the wrong size. They fixed it. The last time anyone from my family will go to Wright Tire is when my mother brought her car in to have the tires balanced. They couldn't get one tire off, so that one was not balanced. She drove to my brother's house the next day, 2 hours away and her car was shaking terribly! Turns out she only had one lugnut left on one of her tires and it was wobbling all over. When she called to tell them what happened, and that she could have been seriously injured, she was told what their policy is regarding tightening the lugnuts and that they were "glad that everything turned out ok." Seriously??!!!! I have never written a bad review for anybody before, but to have a bad experience 3 out of 4 visits is exceedingly... BAD! They do have good prices, but maybe it is because their service is terrible and their staff are not competent. read more

Customers beware! I took my truck into Wright Tire for an oil change. I had a coupon for $17.99 for oil and filter up to 5 quarts. I was told that the truck may take more than 5 quarts and that would be extra but I was not told how much extra. It was not until after the service was done that I was given a bill for $34.70 almost double what the coupon was for. This is the kind of tactics that give service shops a bad reputation. I had another vehicle scheduled the same day which I immediately canceled. I will never visit this shop again nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

after many sets of tires purchased here, we have become dissatisfied with the care you get once the tires are installed. we had tires rotated, and immediately developed a problem with noise and vibration. The tires were underinflated, and all we got was a" not our problem". Not even allowed to see a tire "technician" for the problem, even with appointment scheduled. Front desk lady just said too bad..and more or less ...go away now. We called Goodyear, and got more help over the phone, and they didn't sell us the tires, or try and sell us new ones. Outstanding service!!! I was on my way to work this morning and my tire went completely flat, right in front of Wright Tire Services, at the stop light. I inched my way into the parking lot and asked them if they could help me. I actually needed tires anyways so I asked for a quote for four new tires. The price was right and I asked them if they had time for this last minute request. They said, "absolutely" and then followed it up with...."do you need a ride to work?" Unbelievable! This could have been a terrible experience this morning. I am so happy with my new tires and the service I received. Wright Tire Services gained a new customer this morning and I'll be sure to recommend Wright Tire Service to anyone who could benefit from their quality customer service and all they have to offer. read more

Do not take your car here if you are expecting to get it back in the same condition as when you dropped it off. We brought my 2004 Monte Carlo in for a tire rotation. When we went to pick it up the driver side door hit the front fender when you opened it. You couldn't even get in the car it was so bad. First of all, nobody told us this happened. They gave us our keys and sent us on our merry way. Upon confronting them about it the response was "It was like that". Um, no. Again, you couldn't even get in the car it was hitting the front fender so much. You really think I would continue driving my car like that? There was a small rust spot on the bottom of the door where it rubbed a bit at one point. They are using this as there excuse for not taking care of it. They are saying unibody cars will adjust on the lift and that's just what happens. Not their fault. REALLY?! My husband was able to pull the front fender out enough so the door stopped hitting it, but now there are several new paint chips from the friction that they will not take responsibility for. Very poor way to do business and not accept responsibility. We are very reasonable people and this was just disheartening. read more
