Complete train wreck when dealing with this place, called and made an appointment for tires and alignment. Dropped off the truck and returned 6 hours later, its not ready due technicians having to use a different bay for the alignment which later they admitted that they were unable to do because I have a 3500. Now they expect me to go to a different location for the alignment! I would not have purchased the tires knowing that they were not going to be able to align them. The service manager at that business discriminated against me. He was Patient with everyone else accept me. When it got to my turn to be serviced, he was disrespectful and inpatient. All because I asked him to please speed up the process a little because the person picking me up had to go to work. The more I asked, he took is own time. He called the police on me for asking him if he could please speed the process. He said I was be inpatient and disrespectful which I wasn't. I have been a customer at that tire plus for years and I never one day had problems with any of the employees. He is racist, and he treats minorities differently. ZERO STARS. This TirePlus location & Jonathan were the most unpleasant, unprofessional tire experience from the moment I walked in the door. He tried to upsell me everything before I could even understand what I was paying for & didn't care to concisely explain himself on what extra i'd be spending my money on. I scheduled a 5:00pm appointment earlier in the day during my work day, since i've been on a donut for longer than I should. I know exactly when I scheduled the appointment because I get off work at 4:30pm & the commute would've been perfect for a 5:00pm appointment. I just left the facility after not being helped or even acknowledged that I was waiting for an hour while they pulled in other vehicles, while others sat on lifts completely unoccupied, looking at me stupid over & over. As if I was the one who didn't have my ducks in a row. I have a screenshot of the appointment confirmation (not that it's necessary ) that I scheduled it at 5:00pm for my record. The fact that Jonathan called me right after I left to try & go back & forth to try to explain he thought it was a 6:00pm appointment without saying this to me in person once or even when I was leaving as an unhappy customer where he had the perfect opportunity but instead waited until I drove away, only emphasizes the unprofessionalism of this gentleman & that he knew he was wrong. Thank goodness there's a discount tire around the corner. This should've never got my time of day, but I'm glad it did so I can let others know to NEVER come here & waste your valuable time! I hope the gentleman in this facility can get through whatever life challenges they're going through that cause them to be this unpleasant professionally, representing a company. TirePlus should do better with compensation or something so they may have a happier employee base. read more

By far the worst experience I've had buying tires or getting any work done. I have a laundry list of things I've had to deal with at this location but my last time in was the last straw. I went in for a tire rotation and oil change (they screwed up the tire rotation I had done about 3-4 weeks prior). I was called and told I needed two new tires (one had a plug in it, one was balding on the outer tread from them not doing the alignment at an appointment prior) which I was reluctant to buy because I had already spent thousands within the last year on tires, brakes and rotors (which weren't installed correctly and made horrible sounds which I was told was just them "breaking in") and wanted to shop around. I was finally convinced they would give me a deal on my tires and oil change if purchased which I agreed and had them do. When I picked up my vehicle, I specifically asked Jonathon if he had made sure the tire with the plug was replaced (i had to be certain from all the screw ups in the past) and he told me to my face that he 100% replaced it and I was good to go. That following Monday I found the plug still in my tire and shaved down to match the tread (had about 70% left on all tires prior to buying 2 new ones). They took off a perfectly fine tire (who knows what they did with it) and charged me as if they replaced it. This was some of the shadiest, sketchiest and just most unprofessional thing I've ever seen so I raised hell and then contacted corporate which I'm still waiting for a solution. I was given one free tire (needed two because the tread pattern is going to be off since I had 3 brand new tires now instead of 2). Even if you need to drive 20-30 minutes away I would do that 1000x over before coming back to this store. 0/10 would recommend. read more

Horrible front desk customer service, likely the worst I have encountered. Have never been made to feel more like an inconvenience. I needed tires, appt had been made but I walked out. Tires are an expensive purchase and I could not fathom giving my money to them after being treated to unkindly. I literally drove past two other tire shops on my way. do not bring your vehicle here!!! ended up ordering the wrong parts for my car, had me bring it in 3 separate times to do a simple job. ended up giving my jeep 2 major oil leaks when replacing the sway bar. Never had a leak anywhere prior to them "fixing" my car . i had to bring my car in somewhere else for repair after spending almost $900!! i work in the area and girls at my work have brought their vehicles here and same problems. save yourself the money and hassle and bring your car to slims in anoka! i cannot believe this shit hole is still in business! read more

After leaving my vehicle at Tires Plus in Coon Rapids for a simple flat tire repair I was notified they could not fix my flat because the tread was below the legal limit. In looking at my tires and driving my car prior to service this was never evident to me but trusted the experts and agreed to replace all 4 tires. When I picked up my car the doors made a loud popping noise, and Tires Plus ultimately admitted fault causing damage great enough to bend my car doors and referred me to the corporate insurance company. Two months later and numerous unanswered calls and letters to the store manager, area manager, and insurance company my only recourse is to hire an attorney. Seriously Tires Plus? You take responsibility for the damage but then you don't. What a headache! read more

Had 4 new tires installed. Good job on that. Front desk clerk tried to high pressure me into another $1500 dollars of work. I told him my regular mechanic was right down the road and I wanted a 2nd opinion. He bad mouthed that business and continued to turn up the pressure for me to let them due more repairs. Didn't let up even as I walked out the door. My regular mechanic replaced front wheel bearing. The other items listed had nothing wrong. Have bought tires from them in the past and had work done there. Had never been treated like that. They've lost my business. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with every interaction I had during my recent visit at the Coon Rapids Tires Plus. I was fortunate to just be visiting for a quick fix (nail in my tire). But, I was there on a Monday morning and the place was HOPPING!! The woman at the desk could not have been more friendly, helpful or knowledgeable. She was juggling call after call, as well as, managing a busy waiting area. I noticed that she was able to answer every call quickly and was very informative. She kept customers who were waiting up to date on the status of what was happening with their repairs...which couldn't have been easy with everything else she was juggling. She even knew that my particular make and model of vehicle wasn't due for an oil change without having to look anything up....which I appreciated as she totally could have unsold me and I would have been none the wiser. The technicians doing the work were quick and thorough and got me in and out in record time...despite having a garage full of vehicles they were working on. i definitely would recommend this location to anyone looking for a respectable and quality repair facility. read more

I had used Tires Plus for about the past 30 years and went to get my son's car after lifetime front-end check and winter tires put on. I brought my son with to pickup the car and the female person behind the counter said it would be $250 and I said no I purchased the tire at the store and she said she couldn't find it and I told here same thing happened last year and after a long wait she found it and said it would be $150 and I told her no I have lifetime alignment. That took forever then she started to explain everything and I asked how much do I owe and she said I'm trying to explain it to you and I said after a couple more times of the same explaining I said just tell me how much I owe to get my f-ing car and she acted like she had never heard the word before and I don't use the word lightly except when I really get pee'd of. So we just left the car at the store and went into the store the next day and walked in and the manager was there and looked at me like I ran over his dog. He said the total was $2.76 total but just take the car and that I was not welcome there anymore. I told him no problem he lost my business 3 years ago when I came in to buy a set of Michelin tires and the (different girl) said they don't sell them and I said I've always bought the her before and she said they didn't and that's when I went to their competition and very happy with service and customer respect. read more

Good guys still exist!! I noticed a screw in my tire. Made an appointment and got in on time. (Also, the darn tire pressure sensor in a different tire kept telling me that it was low. It was not.) When I returned for the car, the tire had been fixed and they'd checked out and recalibrated the sensor. You know what they charged? NOTHING. The guy said that's part of their service and they want me to tell my friends about their services. For sure!! read more

I've been a loyal tires plus customer for over 6 years. I've charged over 5000$ on my tires plus card and referred people here. I had a massive issue with their lack of clear communication and follow through that put the charges up 300$ from what I was expecting. Spent $ thousands on a new driveway last year and when I noticed a slow fluid leak from my truck recently, it was like a stake thru my heart. Slow leaks can be hard to find, so I was a bit pessimistic. Took it to the Tires Plus on Northdale near Round Lake Blvd and told them about my once perfect driveway. They started working before the scheduled time and took extra time to make sure they found the source of the leak. They kept me posted every step of the way and made the repair - even took it on a test drive. Two days later and not one new drop on the driveway. Thanks guys! read more

For the second week in a row tires plus has Prime Well valera touring ll tires on sale and they are not available to get. It is very frustrating. They are available at other stores but because the other stores are outside the metro area they won't get them in and they try and up sell you on a more expensive set. I have bought tires from them in the past and at least if the sale tires were not available the would match the price on a comparable tire. I tried for 2 days to get some tires mounted on my truck. The first time I asked if they were able to do it and they said yes but it wouldn't have been done in time for us. I get it we are in a time crunch no big deal. Went back the next day I even called and asked if they could get my truck in at 330. They said no problem. Dropped my husband off at 6:30 and the truck hadn't even been pulled into a stall. Plus they close at 7. My husband asked for his keys back and they said they thought we were leaving the truck there. I have a high mileage car that is not going to last much longer. I informed them of this and just wanted a quick oil change. In return I received a very long lecture that continued after I was close to tears and multiple requests to please stop lecturing and just finish the oil change. I gave two stars because technically the oil was changed, but the bad encounter with this employee guarantees that I will never go back. read more

Once you get past all the Freudian marketing strategies here I found they actually balanced my tire after installing it.(unlike the Blaine location) With that said they simply left my spare tire in the back of my mini van rather than putting it back in place and this is after I paid for a new tire, oil change, allignment and tie rod repair!
