I experienced Wulf Burger for my first yesterday and it didn't let me down, overall it gets 5 of 5 rating. I had the Wulf Special with peppers added and French fries on the side. The burger was cooked fresh using the smash technique which locked in the flavor. Seasoned to perfection, no salt or pepper was required. The burger, with the signature red bun, looked like the picture online with a double meat patty, large enough to hang over the edge of the bun. The fries were crisp, cooked fresh, and complemented the amazing burger. In fact, I drove 20 minutes home and it was still hot. The service was excellent and pretty fast, considering all food is cooked at the time of order. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. The appearance gave a clean look that lacked clutter. Mark me a repeat customer after this amazing first impression. read more

The burger itself caused this 5 star rating! If I were to grade my experience as a whole, I would be teetering between a 3 and 4. The ordering process was a bit frustrating. They made us order on the employee tablet using their system and it wasn't clear where or what everything was. When I stepped back for a second to look at the menu to make sure I am ordering the right thing, the employee made me feel a bit rushed and it was annoying. We were literally the only ones on there at the time. We finally ordered and our food came out fast. I got sweet potato fries on the side and they were just alright. But the burger was incredible! It had the perfect seasoning and temperature and the house sauce they use is unbelievably good! I know the red bun draws a lot of curiosity but it just tastes like a regular bun. Nothing special. I will say I'm not sure what makes it red. If it's some sort of dye, I can't imagine that is great for you at all but I'm not sure so I won't post an opinion without being sure. The store manager greeted me at the door and helped me make my decision which was cool, she was very attentive and suggested the Wulf burger combo. So I ordered the Wulf burger combo to see what all the buzz was about. While the red bun looks a bit weird, the flavor of the burger was not impacted by the bun's red hue. The taste overall was really good, a bit decadent even. This was due to the cheese and the aioli slathered on the burger. Yes the two meat patties that come on the burger were a bit thin, but what they lacked in size, they made up for in flavor. It made for a really good burger. On the other hand, the fries, I don't know what was up with the fries, some were piping hot while others were cool to the touch and even undercooked. It was almost like they took a handful of fries from the freezer and tossed them into the freshly dropped fries 1minute before they needed to come out. So needless to say the fries were a "No For Me Dawg!" Ala Randy Jackson. The store was completely empty so I dined in. Turns out, it was not the best decision because while the restaurant was clean, the music was louder than a Boeing 747 jet taking off. It was almost like I'd wandered into a Led Zeppelin concert and found myself standing INSIDE the speaker! To begin with, their buns (red, green or natural) are so much better than everyone else's that it almost makes you wonder why no one else has ever given any thought to bun quality. 10/10 The meat is finely ground and super juicy. 9/10 Their garlic aoli sauce is a perfect compliment to the burgers. 9/10 The fries are stellar, especially the sweet potato fries. 9/10 The use sweet pickles vs dill which isn't my cup of tea but I know it is for some people. They have Maine Mexican Cola and Maine Root Beer which are both top notch. Unfortunately the Root Beer was fresh out of syrup. Hands down one of the best burgers that I have had in awhile. The restaurant is small and quaint, nice and new, tables are appropriate for social distancing. You can either order from their iPad located in front of the cash register or from the cashier. I decided on the Special which comes with 2 patties, American Cheese, fresh pickles, grilled onions, and red Wulf bun with their special sauce house made garlic mustard aioli. Absolute worst experience getting a burger for lunch Friday. Kiosk ordering only - can't order from staff who look like they have no interest in helping. And they had no fries that day - only sweet potato fries! I mentioned that a Tom Thumb was in the same strip center, but only got blank stare. After waiting 10 minutes, I inquired about my order and was told I hadn't paid. The kiosk had confirmed my card was accepted, but the counter person sad it didn't register. We came clear across the metroplex to eat here on New Years. We have been wanting to for awhile. I am glad we did! 1. Brendan, behind the counter was extremely helpful and nice. He answered all of our questions and even came out after we had received our food to see if everything was ok. 2. Neil on the flat top.......money. We received our order within 4 minutes after ordering. (Family of four) The Mrs. and I both commented that the burger itself was very very tasty. She said she loved the crispy buttery edges of the bun. I said the same thing about the edges of the burger . The fries are crinkle cut, whether you get the standard or sweet potato ones (we got both) are delicious. They both are done well enough that they aren't mushy and limp like others. I wanted to give this place 3 stars, but I really couldn't justify rating it that high. Came with my family and got the Wulf special. My bun was charred black on the inside, the onions were dripping grease, and overall the the taste was just off. My parents didn't like the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, but they did like their Wulf junior burger. I looked at my sisters burger (she also got the wulf special) and hers wasn't black on the inside like mine was, so idk why they dropped the ball on mine lolz. Also service wasn't that great. The man working the counter didn't even greet us, he just kind of gave us a look indicating that he was ready to take our order. They were very clean and were changing gloves between orders from what I saw so props to them for that. My sister wasn't kidding when she told me that Wulf burger is so good. I'd probably have a Wulf burger once a week if we had one in Indy. We put in a take out order online and while the wait was long (40-45 minutes) its was definitely worth it. I've been to a few establishments that have the Impossible burger, but honestly, Wulf burger makes it the best. I had the vegan Wulf burger special and seriously, it tastes like the real thing. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Stopped by after work with a friend. I ordered the vegan classic burger and fries and my friend got the same but non-vegan. Usually (in my personal experience) vegan meat burgers are either over cooked or seriously under-cooked but this place did a really good job. The toppings were fresh. The guy at the register, who I assume was the owner or manager, was super nice, patient and helpful. The only reason I left off a star is because I would say maybe the grill could have been scraped or patty taken off quicker. My patty had some black burned bits on it that I could taste. BUT this did not affect me finishing the burger. When I checked them out online I did see that the vegan burgers seemed to have a green bun. So I am actually wondering if my bun was vegan or not. Purely my opinion, but this place is just ok. It's not spectacular, but by no means bad either. First off, the red/green buns taste the same as a regular bun, but it is nifty and cool. So I was looking for a new burger place to try out and I came across this on Yelp. We were lucky to find seats because it's not a big place at all. We went ahead and ordered, got the Wulf Special Burger which has red buns, two beef patties with cheese and their house sauce. I decided to stop by and check this place out on my way home. I love local businesses and have decided to try to shop more local places due to the pandemic and all. When I first walked in I was greeted by staff and took my place in line. This restaurant functions much like most other burger joints in the area, orders are placed at a counter and your name is called when your order is ready. The interior is clean, but it is a bit bare with a few tables along the wall and toward the front of the place. I'm assuming that not much was put into the lobby due to COVID and being a new business in the area. There is one screen with the menu on it, but it is in a bit of an awkward spot. In addition, the writing is small making it hard to see from a distance. I believe they will probably add menus to their website and hopefully they will add another screen as well preferably on the wall close to the entrance. The burgers are made to order and are made with 100% beef and free of hormones according to the menu. I ordered two of the Wulf junior burgers since both only have one patty instead of two like the Wulf burger. I saw the burgers on Instagram and figured two patties would be too much beef, but after getting the burgers I realized that the patties are thinner than they look online. The burgers come with a good amount of toppings, but I felt like the patty could have been a bit thicker due to the size of the bun. The burgers were tasty, but I would have felt better if the patty was thicker and the bun less oily. Overall it is a decent burger, but I feel they will definitely need to adjust the patty to bun ratio in order to make it a truly great experience. I will give them another try as with all new businesses it's a trial and error process, hopefully they get it right because I would love to see them succeed! read more
