Pierogi Benedict and Mushroom Truffle Brat with vegan sausage
    Tabitha W.

Speaking of wurst behavior, all the front of house staff disappeared when our food was ready. The kitchen staff rang the bell several times to the point where I contemplated if it would be ok if we just went up ourselves and got our plates. When ordering, the waiter seemed confused by our order; even though we were very clear and pointed to menu items, he still needed lots of clarification. Our Pierogi Benedict was pretty bland. The Mushroom truffle brat with vegan sausage came with a ton of mustard that kind of overpowered the sausage. Love that they have a vegan sausage, but this place was a miss.

I'm so glad I checked this place out. I called in my order for three dogs. The girl on the phone was very polite and quoted me like 10 minutes or my order to be made and it was ready by the time I picked it up. My ordered their Kielbasa, my son ordered the Andouille, and I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken. It's a shame we all ordered from the "sausages" menu instead of trying one of their brats as well, but there's always next time. They were all really good and larger than I had expected. Definitely worth the price. The kielbasa came with sports peppers and grilled onions. It was supposed to come with Hazy IPA mustard but they must have forgot because there was not mustard on this sausage. The andouille came with onions, jalapeños and hot honey. The hot honey complemented the spiciness from the andouille sausage perfectly. My Nashville hot came with a fried chicken sausage, pickles, coleslaw and aioli. A very delicious and unique options but have definitely use like 10x more heat to justify the name "Nashville hot." We also ordered fried which were delicious as well. Overall, we were all satisfied with our sausages. They were all delicious and will definitely be returning to try the rest of their menu.

Loaded Brat - best ever, and I used to live in Wisco!

I had to giggle with glee after my first bite - I spent a great deal of my adulthood in Wisconsin and love brats as a result. I never thought I would eat my favorite brat ever in Chicago, but here we are! The brat I had at Wurst Behavior was exceptional. I did the loaded brat, and it was great. They also have alcoholic beverages with a decent beer list. Service was exceptional, and given this is close to home, I anticipate stopping in again and again!

On our way to the airport, stopped in at Wurst Behavior because of its reputation and ratings. We weren't disappointed. The space is bright and spacious. Izzy (sp?) was at the bar and greeted us warmly like friends. We ordered to samplers to try each type of sausage. They were all delicious - spicy or smoky, crunchy and well accompanied by mustard and applicable toppings. We also had the potato pancakes and the pierogi and they were outstanding. What a great experience.

Loaded brat!!! It was fully loaded with sourkraut, cheese, sour cream, and green onion....and only half made it in my belly. We started with potato pancakes and potato periogis, very tasty and fresh! I believe they were apart of an happy hour special. There's a patio out back but we stay inside. Service was friendly and quick!

We shared a 3-item platter of Kielbasa & onions, Andouille & onions/jalapeno, Brat & sauerkraut with house cut fries, pickles, coleslaw, bread, mustard. It's a good deal for the quality and quantity of food you get. The sausages were huge, juicy, and packed with flavor. Delicious with the mustard and onions. The buns soaked up the sausage juices well without disintegrating. Fries and coleslaw were solid. No issues with service. Not terribly expensive. Space is small so come with a small group or order to-go.

I walked in and was greeted by a nice woman who told me I can sit anywhere. The dining area was super chill and the music lended itself to sitting back and enjoying a drink and the fantastic food. They make all of the sausages in house. I ordered the Hot Dog and the Nashville Hot Chicken with an order of freshly cut fries. Everything is made to order. I received my food and decided to try the Hot Dog first, made with Angus Beef, and spice and smoked with pecan wood. This isn't your typical Chicago Style Hot Dog. It was mind blowing good. It has all the fixing as a normal dog, but arrived on a warm toasty bread. After one bite I was sold! The Nashville Hot Chicken sausage is made with chicken thighs and spices. One bite just made me close my eyes and enjoy every bite. It was mildly spicy with a great Cole slaw that didn't overwhelm the flavor of the sausage. I haven't smiled this much over encased meats in a long time, but this place is now in my top 5. Oh I almost forgot the fries. They were fresh cut and seasoned well. No ketchup required.

This joint is a hidden gem! The space was super cute with inviting lighting and cozy layout. Our server was friendly and very helpful: we loved each of the recommendations. The food was shockingly good. The flavors were balanced perfectly and each of us was happy with our choices. Not pictured were the pierogis, the pulled chicken sandwich, and the polish kielbasa.

Stopped in for dinner - cute set up and have an outdoor beer garden for when it gets nicer out. Service was nice and quick. Brats / sausage were huge, I thought they would be more normal size and they were much bigger and filling. Loved all the toppings on it! Each one was unique and tasty. Hush puppies were good too but I think I'd try the perogis or potato pancake next time!

Potato and Potato & Cheese Pierogi

I went in for lunch today and really enjoyed the meal. I had the potato and cheese pierogi. Very tasty, could be crispier. I loved the 2 sausage platter, however did not realize how big the links would be. The andouille was out of this world! Pickles, slaw and fries were fine. I waited a while for my food, and when it came out it was not as hot as I would've liked. The service was friendly, but the vibe was quiet. Maybe it's more lively on the weekend. Yummy sausage, big portions.

Small Space but the service is worth dining inside. Our group had pierogis and potato pancakes and drinks to start. All were wonderful! Everyone ordered a sausage for dinner and it was definitely a great homemade tasting sausage. We tried the dessert and it was a perfect to share.

I ordered a plain hotdog - not sure what I was given. The meat was dry as hell. It was some form of sausage maybe? Idk. Just not going back.

First and foremost, I ate here this past Saturday. I was brought there steak sandwich. I had never…read moreeaten in the establishment before. I was thinking it wouldn't be promising cause I was thinking steak sandwich tuff, hard to chew, a piece of steak between two pieces of bread. Well I was duped on that thought. I received the stead sandwich, I opened the tray and was so surprised of what I saw. It was cut in half, and it was big. I took the first bite and let me tell you, it was so mouth watering I had to take a second bite. This steak sandwich melted in my mouth. It was all chopped up, into pieces, it was easy to chew, and swallow. It was seasoned just right, and I just couldn't stop eating it. I immediately asked where was this place. The sandwich came with a dressing, lettuce and tomato, on a French bread roll. I fell in love. I decided I needed to now go there, and get another one so I went there yesterday. I sat in the car in front of the place. I placed my order then went inside to get it. The restaurant has seating and lots of it for eating inside. They had tv's on the wall and a view to the outside. They had a public bathroom. There were patrons dining in when I arrived, and I walked up to the counter to get my sandwich. I informed hopefully it was the manager, that I had eaten the steak sandwich on saturday and it was mouth watering, and I just had to have another one. I didnt order fries when I made the order but I asked and they made fries to go with my steak sandwich. The fries too were just like I like them. Thin crispy and taste great. After speaking with the manger he wanted me to try another item they carried. It was an empanada, that too was delicious. The sandwich is so big full of steak, literally falling out the bread I couldn't even finish it. I had to save half for later that evening. This place impressed me. I don't know if they have self parking, I park in front, and ran in for my food and left. I was also told once they close the eat in dining for the evening they have a space next to the dine in that you can order for take out, and pick up till late night and thats a plus. I have to give this restaurant and awesome review cause it's rare to like everything about a business you frequent for the first time. The patrons that I saw eating at the tables looked happy and enjoying their food. I'm sure they carry more than the the steak sandwich, but that was my fav order. Thank you to the manager for allowing me to try the empanada free of charge.

We got the Cuban sandwich and Cubanito steak sandwich. Tasty and good value! The Cubanito steak…read moresandwich is a bit messy to eat though because it's ground beef. Unfortunately there wasn't a sit down option when we went, only window pick up. The employee was nice and had good energy though.
