Aside from the price range which is normal for restaurants. The food wasn't full of flavor like before. Usually when I order their food i can usually eat it with sauce or soy sauce on it and we were good, the flavor was good. Now it was sauce city and the flavor was dull. My friends and I went during the week for lunch and thankfully it was not crowded. They have many tables for hibachi. They also have tables to dine in that's not hibachi. We had Simon as our waiter and Albert as our cook. Simon was great very personable and Albert was a delight. He was a great singer lol. My food was good. The only complaint is they put teriyaki on their noodles and chicken as default. They should ask people if that's ok. I'm not a fan of teriyaki. Came here with a few friends to have dinner and catch up. We were seated in the booth area, maybe 4 booths from the entrance. Even though we were far away from the entrance doors, the area was still chilly. Our waitress brought edamame for us on the house which was nice. We ordered the Fried Sashimi appetizer which was delicious, highly recommend. I'd never had it before. For dinner, we ordered pad thai, shrimp fried rice and basil fried rice. The pad thai was enjoyed, the basil fried rice was okay - I didn't like the fact that it had peas, carrots and corn in it but it comes with large shrimp and chicken mixed in. I know this is a funny concern but not less than 5 minutes of placing our order, our food came out. How was it prepared so quick? I have questions, LOL. From where we were sitting, we could hear all the things going on in the hibachi room. It sounds like they really provide a show and that people really enjoyed as we were there for a few hours. I like the fact that the restaurant doesn't try to rush you out. Staff was friendly and attentive. This used to be my favorite hibachi Spot, but came here last Saturday it took a long time for them to cook our food. when we got the food it seem like they put too much butter or oil it even taste a little different from when i used to go a few months ago. Ordered hibachi lunch and receive regular fried rice with a few piece of unflavored chicken-tasteless-obviously was not cooked on a hibachi grill. Vegetables were drowning in some juice that were soggy and tasteless. Very unappealing to look at - like reused food from some other customer's plate. I called and advised them of all of this and was told that "there's nothing I can do about it." They explained that the hibachi lunch was different from hibachi- what's that mean? I asked them to define what hibachi means and no response, totally just held he phone and said nothing further. I told them that they were falsely advertising their menu. Ambiance was on point! The restaurant was clean, staff were friendly, and singing and laughing heard throughout. The staff were very funny and fun. It was my first time having noodles with my hibachi and it was delicious. My cocktail was perfect! I really enjoyed the food..only complaint is the dressing tasted like it was a mayo base. I'd prefer the ginger dressing. My sushi was soft/room temperature so it fell apart easily. I'm looking forward to the new location that's opening in Naperville near my home. My boyfriend and I usually come here for sushi and we are never disappointed. The sushi is always good and fresh. We ordered a spicy tuna roll for our appetizer and it was really good. For our entrees, we ordered the Pad Thai Noodles and Thai Spicy Crazy Noodles. Everything was delicious! I wish the pad Thai had a bit more spice. I'll probably add chili paste next time, but the sauce they made it in was really good. The service was great. We sat at the bar and we did not have to wait long for the food at all. I walked in today to try the sushi, I wasn't in a hibachi mood. I got my usual, spicy salmon rolls and tempura rolls. Because it was noon I just went for the pick 3 rolls for $18.99 lunch special. I also had a Bahamas sunrise cocktail which is made with rum. Potstickers and chicken lo mein for this visit. Everything was delicious, I did however find their spicy salmon rolls to be mediocre perhaps next time I'll get the dragon rolls or rainbow rolls for more extraordinary-ness. Hibachi anyone? Wu's House is always a hit when I go. There wasn't a long wait which was a good thing because I was starving. As soon as the rest of my party arrived we were seated. Initially I wasn't happy because they sat us near the kitchen. If we sat there the staff would keep bumping into us when the went in and out of the kitchen. They also had a coat on top of plates they had stacked up on a shelf. That grossed me out. I asked could we move and they sat us at another able. That was much better and we were more comfortable. Our waiter was very nice and brought food out in a timely fashion. The cook was super cool and had to much personality. He was very funny and entertaining. Disgusting!!!!! Everything was nasty and greasy and crossed contaminated, I don't eat eggs. I don't eat chicken. I had to ask repeatedly not to put eggs and chicken in my rice. I ordered filet mignon the filet mignon was the toughest that I've ever seen. I've never seen filet mignon with that texture. I'm not sure if it was even real meat. I will start with the food from this restaurant. Me and my family had the shrimp chow mein and the shrimp pad Thai, with white rice and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was really greasy and hardly any flavor, the chow mein was good and flavor was there but missing shrimp, pad Thai tasted like sweet and sour shrimp.... And missing shrimp,do not recommend. My dragon fruit drink was good but the mango smoothies my parents had were not fresh and tasted like milk and not mango. Service was good the waiter that attended us was respectful and attentive to our table. The ambiance of the restaurant is a bit noisy could be because the tables are a bit close to each other, also the restaurant is really cold, making our food cold.Pricing was okay especially for the portions we received. This was my first time visiting this location and felt the service was subpar. The food was the same as the Palos and Orland. He chef did a lot of "singing" and not that much of entertaining with the food. I didn't spend over $100 to hear singing by an average every day person. We placed an order of carryout, which consisted of Shrimp Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Egg rolls, Pineapple Chicken, and Fried rice with chicken shrimp and beef. The portions are small and the prices are high. On the first visit, we had a hibachi dinner. The food was bland and I was not impressed. ON my second visit for the year of 2020, and I honesty admit that the food is subpar. The rice was so bland, flavorless, and lacked ingredients. It was also old tasting and sticky. It had black burnt specks in it, and tasted like it was reheated in a dirty pan. It was awful! The Crab Rangoon were flat and lacked filling. The eggrolls were tiny. dry, and empty. This food is definitely not worth the high price. The restaurant itself is has a very nice, colorful ambiance and it's spacious. Unfortunately, the parking lot is very small. I was surprised to see that this restaurant was open for dine in in December 2020 during the stay-at-home order. The restaurant's parking lot was filled to capacity, and we had to park on the street. Overall, I do not like this restaurant's food and will never eat there again. The food is bland and the portions are small. CHI Tung is way better and close by. read more

They've added peas, carrots, and corn to the rice. Have bagged frozen chicken to mix in the rice instead of the regular chicken breast. The noddles are soo thick and the amount of grease that's in the food now makes you not even want to eat let alone the look of all the take home bags with orange grease stains.
