I had parked right near the door, but was headed to another business. I made a quick decision to stop in and check it out and I'm so glad I did! The beer was cold and refreshing! The bartender was one of the owners, and I overheard him chatting with some local classmates from his past. The other owner was in the kitchen. I saw nachos come out and they looked amazing! Great place! The beer was very tasty and the service was wonderful, very friendly staff and super cool interior with garage doors. There is also a nice outdoor space with a BBQ food truck. Inside they have a popcorn machine that is self serve. The merch is also very cool! FYI there are no TVs in here so not somewhere to go if you're looking to watch the game. read more

We had some time to kill today and this was a tagabrew that I still needed. So we took a trip to Wayndotte! We love this little downtown area! We have ventured out here in the past and really found it adorable. We stopped in and I thought this was a really cute brewery. They didn't have a huge selection which was a little disappointing. They were out of their IPA. But we both chose the coffee cream beer and it was really quite good. I did love the atmosphere here. It was an open space open to the elements. Today was a gorgeous day! Now, he knows that I'm always cold and figured that sitting outside in the sun would be the best move for me. And he was right. We normally like to sit at the bar but I loved the Patio. We found out that on certain days between certain hours you are allowed to walk around the downtown area with drinks as long as it's in a specific glass. I hear SCS is starting to do something like this as well. They really need to do this in other downtown areas like Rochester too. I think they would get more business and people would shop more. I always buy more when I have been drinking. Haha. Who doesn't? Anyway, we got our tagabrews and decided to grab lunch. I don't know that I would make a special trip all the way to Wayndotte for this brewery but I was glad that we came today. read more

I actually really like this place, we have been 3 times and enjoyed ourselves and felt welcomed every time. kind of like a 4.5 star but rounded down just because the days they are open can vary depending on if they run out of beer. We have sat outdoors and indoors as well. The indoor is nice, large tables and dark. Outside has a nice setup, some tables in the sun, some in shade. The food menu is small, but sufficient, and the beer has been great. The bomb pop they have the other day was amazing! Also- probably the BEST brisket tacos I've ever had from a restaurant. I mean- I was super surprised. Bonus is that can run a tab- and they have board games you can play. Also- they welcomed me bringing my daughter in- who is only 7 months the 3 times we have been there- and told us to bring her back lol. read more

Stopped in for their grand opening to try one of their six featured brews - Gold Star golden ale, Erie Coast IPA, Dad Jazz mild ale, Razzle Dazzle raspberry wheat ale, Spooky Coast NE IBA, and Willie's Best scotch ale. They didn't have flights available so I tried the Spooky Coast & Erie Coast - both were tasty. The service was pretty quick and all of the bartenders were nice. There are a variety of "Pizza Joints" and egg rolls available from the kitchen but we didn't try anything while we were there. The food coming out of the kitchen looked good, though! There is ample bar seating and some tables. It looks like there will be seating on the patio come summer. Unfortunately right now that served as the smoking area which meant coming in/out of the brewery through crowds of people smoking - I'd love if they had a smoking area outside away from the door and soon-to-be patio seating so this wasn't a thing. The prices were reasonable. A little high for some of the IPA's but the golden ale and brown ale were good prices. Service was great... After 7 minutes of sitting there waiting to order on a slow night with plenty of staff. Seriously, 3 staff members walked by us at least two times each. After we were pointed out as not being helped by another patron. Service was very good. Every 3-5 minutes we were checked on. There were less then 20 customers in there. The beers were good. Nothing outstanding but we didn't have any we didn't like either. They were all decent to good. The scotch ale was surprisingly smooth and strong. We didn't try food. The bathrooms were single serve and large for being single serve but clean. Id definitely try this place once more and would go back if we were checked on within a few min of sitting down. read more

What an amazing day! We decided to jump in the car and take a trip down river. To be honest, we didn't really have a destination in mind. We have so many places to go and so many things we want to enjoy together. Sometimes, it seems like we are making up for lost time. There aren't enough hours in the day to spend together. Wyandotte happened to be on our route for the day. I just love days without an agenda. He mapped our route and we started our day at Wyandotte Brewery. What an awesome spot. Located in the heart of the city, this brewery is the hit of the town. They have an outside patio and a large space on the inside. Walking in, we noticed that it was Bar Crawl Night in the city. Being Devil's Night, this could be fun! We made our way to the bar. We were greeted by the beertender, who schooled us on the brews. Come to find out, he was the brewer and one of the owners. We ordered a flight to split. I loved the Raspberry beer and he really liked the pumpkin. All of the beers were fantastic. We decided to order some Poutine based on the owner's recommendation and a buffalo chicken eggroll. We were glad that we did....it was probably one of the best we have tasted. We spent some time talking to the owner and met a great couple who sat at the bar with us. The woman happened to be a nurse too. We always meet fun people everywhere we go. Let's just say, we will most certainly be back to visit this great brewery. read more

Service was great during our last visit. The beer is great, and priced great too. Most around $4-$6ish I believe. They have board games too to play and you can usually find an open seat. I don't know. I'm conflicted on this one. I would *really* love to give them more, but I just wasn't feeling it. The location is prime and I easily snagged a pretty close parking spot (red flag #1). The entry is on the side and you have to go through the patio area, so it was slightly confusing, but I can let that go. The decor was the kind of cool, rustic look that is so trendy right now, but it didn't feel completely intentional (red flag #2). I sit at the bar and ask for a drink, she points at thhe board behind her. They have only beer, 8 brews. I get it. It's a brewery, but like you could carry SOMETHING else for those hanging out with beer drinkers (red flag #3). So it's only beer, fine, I'll take the razzle dazzle. I'm not a fan of beer generally, but razzle dazzle was fine (as far as beer goes). I also tried Dad Jazz (what a name that one is!) and enjoyed it, but preferred razzle. Anyways, the bartender was nice and attentive, but there were only 10 other people in the whole place (red flag #4). Prices were fair, I think. Again, not a beer drinker, but I assume $6-8 is fair for a glass of beer at these places. I just don't see this place lasting long in its current practice. Some changes probably need to be made, but who knows. I'm no expert in breweries, I just think people need to be there for sustainability, and sadly, they just weren't on a prime weekend night. read more

Very cool atmosphere. I was in love with the setup. Went in the winter but I'm sure the patio is the place to be in the summer. Didn't get to try the food but would love to come back hungry. I love visiting new breweries so I'm surprised it took me this long to visit this one! There are so many drinks and food options in Wyandotte but this place found a way to stand out and be different. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and both owners were there. They are some friendly guys! The beers my boyfriend and I tried were pretty good, and we loved that the food selections they had were enough for lunch or a snack without being overwhelming. Between the atmosphere and menu this is a perfect place to grab a drink, snacks or a bite without a full dinner atmosphere. We each had a few beers and split a few food items and our bill was still under $50. We left full, and smiling! Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Great casual atmosphere, owners are super friendly and engaged, beer is great as well and food was even better than expected...I was expecting typical bar small plates, but I was completely shocked as a foodie that I would find such amazing food here!
